The staff is very hands on and attentive. The property has fantastic landscaping and wonderful staff. I much prefer the character and familial nature of Marquee to the cookie cutter new apartments being built today. Quite happy!

I signed a 13 month lease in Dec. of 2017, and have been loving the property and my unit ever since. The property is old...built in 1965, so there will be natural issues with wear and tear; however, they have the best most responsive maintenance team I've ever seen. It is a quiet, friendly, and diverse community. It doesn't have all the amenities you'll find at other newer places, but that wasn't what I was looking for. I truly believe this a one-of-a-kind community that can't be beat in value. Rachelle, the Property Manager, is awesome (and a flirt, ha!) and knows everyone on the property by name. She always has a smile on her face and makes it a point to talk with everyone who comes into the office, even if she is busy. She is firm, but very fair. Any negativity towards her or the property is misleading and makes me question their review because they couldn't get away with what they wanted, so they got mad and blamed Rachelle. False! The owners put a lot money into the renovations, and made the place stunning FOR THE TENANTS (not as an excuse to bump rents and get more money). They even won awards for the renovations. Not every unit comes with a washer/dryer, but the laundry facility is free of charge, which is the first time I've ever seen that implemented. If you lease with Marquee Uptown, you won't regret it. I can promise that. I've had nothing but a stellar positive experience living here. I wish I could release my unit, but will be moving out for personal reasons. Utilities are on a master system, and is shared by everyone. I only pay one check a month, and they take care of the rest. It can be a little difficult during those wonky months where the weather is in the mid 60s, as the heat will not kick in unless the ambient temp is below 60 degrees. Otherwise it will just blow cool air. If I had any critique is that the windows are single pane, so it's very easy to hear outside noise. I live on the side facing McCue St, so I hear every wannabe drag racer rev their engines as they drive down McCue.

I write to sing the praises of the property manager, Rachele Feys. I have been into the office a handful of times this spring, and have not failed to be impressed with her professionalism, her resourcefulness, and her superior conflict resolution skills. My mother has had a long road to recovery following a stroke, and Rachele and her staff have been amazingly supportive and considerate of her journey, and they never miss an opportunity to help or encourage her. It's been a tough few years for my entire family, but I feel confident in speaking for the others when I say it is a source of peace and comfort to know that she lives with such caring individuals, both staff and other residents of the complex.

I was a resident at Marquee Uptown Apartments on the Carriage Square side up until a few days ago. I lived there for almost 2 years and have loved calling this place my home! I had the pleasure of leasing one of the 1bed/1bath townhome-style apartments and anyone of my friends or family members that comes to visit me always awes at how gorgeous the complex and apartment style is. Not to mention, the apartments are safely secured and the maintenance is great! The maintenance guy is always on top of everything! I’m originally not from Houston, but moved here for work purposes upon graduating college. When I graduated I promised myself that I would find the perfect home I had been longing for, for so long. I didn’t just want any apartment I wanted a real home that I could be happy to come to everyday and that’s what I found here at Marquee Uptown. The leasing manager as well as the rest of the staff have been super welcoming and always so kind to me. They go above and beyond to make sure their residents are happy. Rachele, the leasing manager, is the reason why I signed my lease for this place originally. Upon meeting her, I could tell how upbeat and bubbly her personality is. She was genuinely interested in helping me find the right apartment and showed me multiple units until I found the right one. She was super helpful throughout the whole process! The reason why I remember all of this distinctly is because while other places didn’t take me serious because of how I look, too young, -------- and dark, Rachele never questioned or judged me on my economic status. She made me feel like I belonged even though I might not look the part. Again, these are great apartments to live in, and had it not been for my work that relocated me I would probably still be here for another while longer. I will always remember Marquee Uptown as my first real home here in Houston (:

I first have to mention Rachele the property manager is what won me over and helped me decide to live here instead of the other place. I live on the Carriage Square side. The place is absolutely beautiful and the boutique style apartment homes make you feel like you are at home. I looked at so called luxury apartments that didn't have wall to wall wood plank faux flooring. The granite countertops are absolutely beautiful and they didn't miss the backsplash' s which most places do. Genuine Carrara marble floors in the kitchen and bath. Since these apartments weren't just built in the last 10 years you would expect either outdated or "ordinary" faucets but they actually took the time and money to put in high end faucets that go with the luxury of the apartment. I haven't lived here very long but the place is quiet and it is right down by the Galleria only a few blocks I believe. Walking distance to Whole foods. Honestly this has been the best experience in an apartment I have ever had so much so I asked management to give me the longest lease possible. I read the review by Lena Bell and can attest to the fact Rachelle has never in my presence made anyone feel less than a VIP.

Marquee Uptown is a great place to call your home. The property is well maintained and the renovated interiors are beautiful. There is plenty of space inside and outside with amenities that match the five star quality, the pool and parking are amazing. Rachele is a wonderful property manager. She always handles issues professionally and promptly. She is easy to work with and having someone so attentive to packages and to our needs helped make our lives so much easier. We would not have moved out had we not purchased a house with a baby on the will dearly miss it.

This is a complex I almost drove by but after a detailed curb-side viewing I toured the property. I am now a resident and could not be more pleased. Wonderful and attentive staff, peaceful and clean complex, beautiful and well maintained landscaping with nice pool area. The property is a hidden gem. Very close to Galleria ammenities without the noice.

This place is a hidden gem among all the large, overpriced corporate complexes in the Galleria area. The on-site management is terrific and attentive. The neighbors are quiet. The grounds are exquisitely landscaped. The complex is secure. Covered parking is easy to access. Brief walk to gym across the street. Short walk to Whole Foods and the Galleria mall. Really an enjoyable place to live.

Having now been a resident here for 2+ years, I have thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Friendly and and attentive manager in Rachele. Property is attractive and nicely landscaped. Well maintained and repairs are taken care of promptly. Tenants are a wide range but fortunately I haven't seen the loud obnoxious sort here. Great walking street McCue we are on with upscale lighting and short walk to Galleria, Whole Foods and several top restaurants.
