I've lived here for almost 2 years and have no complaints. Rachele the Property Manager and Eduardo the Maintenance Supervisor are AMAZING! This hidden gem is right in the heart of the Galleria and walking distance to everything. I have no intention of moving especially since my office is right around the corner.

MJCrump , first I want to thank you for your comments the on staff. We do enjoy having you here and we understand your frustration. I do recall you were unhappy with the gate before it was hit. Not to diminish your complaint, however no one before your residency ever mentioned it. Since one of our resident's guests hit the gate while trying to assist her on her move, we have not been able to get the gate just right. However, to our credit, it is not for "lack of trying". To date we have had 3 different gate companies come out to repair the gate including the vendor you used, as you said, "my guy". When he worked on it, you said it was worse. Then we had Mathis Gate out and they adjusted he arms of the gate. Since then, we had Penco, a large gate company come out and they adjusted the spindles. So far, we have reached almost $1000 in repairs to the gate since it was hit. Please remember that we re-imbursed you for your expenditure as well. During this difficult time in our economy and with Covid, there is a shortage of labor as well, as well as with supply chain. Parts and Labor are not readily available. In my 33 years of property management, the property owner is most definitely the most responsive owner I've ever worked with. He is truly invested in making sure our residents have a pleasant and peaceful living experience. Our residents are well cared for. The tenure on our staff is equal to 80 years of experience in our industry. It is equal to 31 years of property management experience on Marquee Uptown & Carriage Square alone. Please rest assured, we have not forgotten about the Carriage Square gate. It is more complicated than a simple repair. It is an overhead iron gate, it is mechanical and no amount of money or adjustments will make the gate operation completely silent. We are investigating a new motor, which is extremely costly, not easily available these days and will still not be without some sound. As offered before, we are happy to allow you to transfer to an alternate apartment with no transfer fees. Please call or come by the office if you wish to discuss this. Thank you Rachell for your help and hospitality. We love Marquee Uptown. Wonderful, quite and beautiful place to live. Management is always there to help you. Great customer service. We hate to go, but our home in Katy is ready. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!

We loved living here. It's like a little tropical oasis in the middle of the city. It really feels like a little resort. The management is really great. I would highly recommend this complex. My husband and I were sad to leave.

The Marque Uptown has exceed all of my expectations. The staff is absolutely wonderful and the property is exquisite. I loved sitting by the pool in the evening enjoying the gardens and the relaxing atmosphere. It was just what I needed after a long day at the office. If I find myself in need of an apartment in the Galleria Area again the Marque Uptown will be my first choice.

My wife and I moved in on May 14. We love it here. Rachel and Crystal who manage it are great to work with and the maintenance staff does a wonderful job in maintaining the exceptional grounds that are more in keeping with a resort than an apartment, especially one in the busy hub of a major city. I am able to walk to lots of restaurants, Starbucks, the cleaners, store, post office and to visit some of my clients whose offices are in close by office buildings.

Living at Marquee Uptown is like going to a Cheers Bar! Everybody knows your name. It is very quaint and friendly here. It's actually 2 properties combined still under 100 apartment. The Staff is enormous for a property this size. This is why the grounds are immaculate and maintenance is done no later than 48 hours. Me...I'm the property manager, My Assistant Crystal and I do our very best to make the residents who live here, feel like they know they can call us for whatever they need. We go out of our way to make sure, their home feels like a refuge from the cares and worries of the world. To Stephanie P. We are very sorry you feel so badly about regarding your tour here at Marquee. The residents who live here have had a wonderful experience as per their reviews of us. I have been here for over 5 years and I treat everyone with the same respect and honesty. We do require pet fees and deposits from everyone, as per our leasing and residency guidelines. We absolutely love pets and keep treats in our office. We hope you found as wonderful a place to call home, as our residents feel about living at Marquee Uptown. We thank you for touring with us. We hope you will give us another chance in the future. We go out of our way for our residents and they always let us know how much they appreciate us!

I absolutely love living in this community b/c it is very quiet, clean, well maintained, and in a great area of town! The staff are very friendly and do their best to address any maintenance needs you may have. Also, I love the fact they have assigned, private, covered parking so you never have to worry about finding a parking space when coming home.

DO NOT rent here!! ------ in the office is very unprofessional, rude and loves to argue with you without listening. Older apartment with less amenities then the multiple communities in the area that have washer and dryers in the apartments. She wanted to place the blame of her attitude on the owner. If I was the owner I would want to know and make sure that my stuff is not running off customers and treating them like they are guilty before getting all the facts straight. Definitely when it comes to laws and regulations but then again office stuff shouldn't be the ones prosecuting a customer or potential customer. I've never been treating in all my 38 years the way I was by ------ and will never recommend anyone live here. THEY have a lot to change. And should take note of it! That starts with the office staff. Might want to get some that are more caring,approachable, listening and sympathetic and not money hungry "I'm going to charge you for that" kind of people.
