I’ve recently moved to this property and also finding out they’re not in a rush to fix anything. The pool has been closed since I moved in due to “permits”! It’s summertime and kids wanna get in the pool to cool down from this Texas heat! Pest control came in and I’m still seeing little critters…. And not to mention the office doesn’t answer the phone or they’re not in for the day. Definitely a SMOKE SCREEN when you’re signing a lease

Please do not lease here. The landlord is extremely unprofessional and unreasonable. While the area is conveniently close to a lot of things, it is a poor neighbourhood where a lot of crime happens. The security gate around the apartment has never been fixed the 5 years that I've lived here. We've had our car broken into twice and on one occasion almost our apartment. Rent increases occur without warning and while the maintenance crew is friendly and helpful, the requests take almost months to complete. Amenities such as the mail/laundry room and the pool are ALWAYS locked. Likely due to obnoxious children or vagabonds roaming in. Rent here at your own risk!

I currently live within Fountains at Tidwell the overall complex is nice but the management is very unorganized and rude which makes it very unpleasant to live there impatiently waiting for my lease to end not to mention they just patch up the matience to look nice for you to move in after everything starts to fall apart in addition several units have electrical problems which is very dangerous and why I'm moving very soon ..Dont waste your time or money crime very bad several break ins and car break ins

I lived at the Fountains at Tidwell from 12/2008 to 6/2009. At the end of May of 2009. I fell out of my wheelchair, spent a week on the floor. Now the girl that I had staying with me, was supposed to have her family over for Memorial Day. She was going to borrow my next door neighbors barbecue pit, but she could not get the lock cut off, BECAUSE SHE WAS NOT ON THE LEASE. So she left me there to DIE. I spent 3 weeks in Herman Memorial NW. I spent a week at my Sisters House. I could not walk. On July 1st I was placed in a Nursing Home, and I learned how to walk again . I went from the Nursing Home to an Assisted Living Facility. Upon attempting to move out of the Assisted Living Facility, I found out that I had a Broken Lease on my record, and that I owed $4.400.00. I'm fairly certain that my family turned in my key. They left messages for the girl to come and pick up her stuff (clothes), and to leave the key. I'm sure they told her (Candice, the Manager) that I was in a diabetic coma for weeks, and they weren't sure what was going to happen to me, SO THE FAMILY MOVED ME OUT!!! And although (good ole) Candice would have allowed me come back. She didn't have any one bedrooms available, but she would move me into a two bedroom at a much higher price. And then there was the room-mate who tried to kill me. I truly didn't feel safe at the time, Candice was not nice to me when I called her, she basically told me that it would stay on my record forever, so I moved elsewhere...

this is a nice community to live. People need to under they make the community ,not communities them selves. For those that have complaints, you are the problem,it wasn't a problem before you came that is why you choose to live here, now that you are here and its a problem that should tell you that you are the problem.I'm sure this is not the only place you complained about because every where you go you are the problem. Buy your own house to live in that way you can run your ship like you want, other wise stop complaining. I'm not talking about no certain person just the one that this apply to and you know who you are.

I fell in love with this complex right away just from the look and feel of a more private and homelike atmosphere....I viewed a two bedroom and it was too small....Once I viewed the three bdrm, I was in love...tall ceilings...big bathrooms...and nice open kitchen area....I moved in 2009 and the first year was not that bad...I liked it...HOWEVER...the next year it started going down hill...with Drunk males trying to break down my door..(police later told me he thought it was his home and was too drunk and on drugs)it was scary and when I called the office I was told to call police which I had already done...I was just informing them...the response was...."We can't control that stuff, it happens all over"...YES THEY SAID THAT...then my car was broken into and the radio stolen...same response...they had a maintenance man using his keys to let young boys in to apts to steal...and they told no one...it was the mom of one of the boys that spoke up...its just down hill fast and when I left in 2011 3more cars and units where broken into...the staff is rude beyond belief and the upstairs toilet stayed broken a lot....the air conditioner went out at least 3 - 4 times a year in the summer....but its not considered an emergency to have fixed right away according to the office...and they do payments under the table in regards to rent for those on the system...BASICALLY...if you are a single male and can handle it...go for it...but I don't think this is a place for single moms or children in general...I GIVE THEM 3 out of 10 score overall...and a 1 out of 10 on customer service....also...THE RENT CONTINUED TO GO UP MORE EACH YEAR BY MORE THAN 40 DOLLARS....

I saw a couple assaults, armed robberies with attempted murder take place here. Especially in the back 28 building in the back right. Apartments 2803 2804 units where its ungated to ditch and unlit backwoods they use to set up their crimes and maybe even kill unsuspecting victims. Never lived there and wouldn't want to either. Tried calling their office and they never answer. Their answering service message includes call the police message. They need to put a barbed wire fence and cameras with armed security guards to save from robberies assaults or killings.

I was looking around to find a place that was cheaper to live in bcuz of being laid off. well i fell upon this place. I loved the look of having ur "personal" place instead of the typical stack everyone up on top of everyone else apartment. Well, I moved in with help from the staff and things were fine. Then things changed. I had bad little children trying to break into my car(had to buy a garage which is out of the 60's)I had ppl smoking weed right outside my window late at night, had domestic violence behind me, got stopped at the gate by a woman standing in front of my car so that I would stop a repo from happening and was caught in a drive by situation. That was all out of my element. Ive never lived in an "urban" setting before and I feared for my life everday until my lease was up. I was brought up in neighborhoods where people spoke proper english and cared about school. These little 5th and below graders were cursing and telling grandparents off at all times of the night and morning. I would be more than 6 feet under if I tried that even now at 24. Its just sad. The walls were so thin I heard the neighbor snoring at my headboard. If you're not used to the stereotypical black neighborhood DONT MOVE HERE. And before anything racial comes out Im African American as well. Just had a better upbringing. Spiders and ants ran rampant around these parts. The sprays worked for like a couple of days and they came back. When I moved from there ants had infested my clothes in the two days they were out in the hamper and came out in the new apartment in a swarm. It was horrible.Roaches were no issue, had one on move in day that came from outside throught the dryer connection.
