My family and I have lived in these apartments for nearly two years. I can not wait until our lease is up so we can get out. My air has went out 3 times in the past week. The maintenance just patch it together so that it runs for a day or so,instead of correcting the problem. The management is rude. Their only concern is rent not the residents and the living conditions. Sometimes you can't get to your mailbox cause the building is full of ants. They do not exterminate like they should so our homes are filled with spiders that we have to pay to have killed. These apartments are overpriced for the way we have to leave. My family pays market rent,we do not get government assistance,so yes this is unacceptable that we are paying for low quality living. I would not recommend anyone to live here. Concern resident

I just resigned my lease. The apartments is pretty big, my bathroom is huge, high ceilings, and i love that there is no one living above or under me. The ladies in the office are very pleasant and helpful to me. If you go in anybody office with an attitude im pretty sure they will get unpleasant as well. I do agree, that there is no curfews around here. People seem to just let their kids run wild. This is a section 8 property, but they are well kept.Some tenants just wont keep things nice. I was planning to move, but started researching and visiting other properties and find out that Fountain of Tidwell dont have as many problems as other areas. I did find another property but my deal fell thur. I do think that they need to start filtering out some of the people who do have section 8 and letting some dude live with them. I think they need to do a crimnal background on them as well. If you at home all day and have nothing to do, I dont want them finding something to do in my apartment. The pool I have never used due to the fact that it close at 6p.m, i guess its due to people not watching their kids. Other then that, its okay here.

Hello I actually no where Mr. Matthews lives...my husband has known him since he was a kid. He will be advised of this situation as well. I have lived in the Fountains of Tidwell over 4 yrs. I have seen people come and go. The complex is a nice place to live, I sent a good family friend over to the Apt Office to Inquire about a apt...I was so disappointed about what she was subjected to...she advised Ms Candice tone was very rude, she advised she didn't feel welcomed. She advised she was not helpful in explaining what she had avail..she felt nonchalantly blown off. One thing I can say about my friend...she does not complain. I have known her for 20 yrs, and if she speaks up about something...I can definitely take it to the BANK!!!! I haven't had to deal with her that often, but the few times I inquired about something...I did get the impression she was not a people's person. My friend did find a apt nearby...she advised the manager and asst. made her feel at HOME.

I have read the reviews and disagree with you, I have friends that live there and the office staff has been more than helpful to them and I witnessed it myself. People need to not judge others, leave that up to God on judgement day. If you all would be nice to them, they will be nice to you. You all always talking about God watching,remember He is watching you all too. The Bible says if anyone offends you, you go to that person and let them know they offened you and resolve the issue. And if you have nothing nice to say say nothing at all. Start with the man in the mirror, maybe you all are unhappy with your current situation and you all try to find fault in others. People(black,white or brown) will say negative things before they will positive. So,I say to the ladies in the office keep your head up and you all are doing a good job. No weapons formed against you shall prosper.

we as BLACK PEOPLE need to learn how to get along and help one another.I'm assuming that the people in the CORPORATE OFFICE are all WHITE FOLKS so they could care less if we are rude,ignorant,self centered,could care less attitude,what ever the case maybe,to one another,but i promise you if this was happening on a WHITE PROPERTY with WHITE FOLKS things would be much DIFFERENT.so we as BLACK PEOPLE need to make a change.MS.DEBRA JOHNSON was the BEST PROPERTY MANAGER EVER.She was an AWESOME WOMAN/MANAGER.We must always REMEMBER GOD always remove GOOD PEOPLE but the ----- will last until GOD STEPS IN and he is going to be on TIME.WE must learn to be PATIENT.We don't need to talk about anyone or say mean nasty things.I PROMISE IF YOU JUST BE STILL.It will work itself out.We must realize when people are mean and nasty to other people not to take it PERSONALLY.THOSE are PEOPLE WITH DEEP HURTS probably had a UNHAPPY CHILDHOOD.so when they think they're on their "FEET"they tend to be NASTY.WE must REMEMBER what we put out comes BACK.I have NEVER seen a UHAUL behind a HIRSCH.nothing goes with us when we leave this WORLD.so let's not get caught up on WORLDLY THINGS."TRUST GOD"

I think she is so full of herself. How can she run a property when the only thing that she thinks of is herself and how she would look today. My sister lives there and she thinks her ---- don't stinks. She looks down to everyone including her staff. How does anybody work with her. You can't ask her a question without getting cut off. Nice property but needs a different manager quick please.

I wonder if the said owner Mr. Matthews is aware of the rude treatment that I received from Ms. Candance the office manager. Ms.Candance is not following the rules of Section 8 programs. She was trying to give me legal advise because she is in training as a attorney. I was very upset because she waisted my time and discriminated against me. The property looks very good. I had never been on the property before. I think that serious training need to take place before this property receive many lawsuits because of the wrong actions of Ms.Candance. Now Ms. Ford was very pleasent to talk to and she was very professional in all matters. I thing she should be the manager. In these times people may face many trials. Ms. Candance you never know who the lord sent your way and you treated them with no respect. You do have a good life. God is watching you....SHAME ON YOU!!!

Nice looking aparts, but trust me its like living in the projects! Every morning there is trash all over the grounds, its suppose to have a curfew..but there are WILD and UNRULY kids hanging out all hours of the night. apparently it was built on unstable ground because whenever it rains, it takes days for the water to dry up. It' s like living in a swamp!! and last but not least....the ladies in the office are the two most rudeest people i have ever encountered.
