I enjoy being close to my job. The place is quiet, and the location is great! The staff treats you the way you treat them, so I have no complaints there. Maintenance is also quick and friendly. I am affected by the boiler issue, but I understand it's a mechanical device, and just like my car, it can break down. So, neighbors, please get over it and boil some water.

I am currently in the process of moving from California to Texas to pursue my master's degree at the Medical Center in Houston. As part of my preparation for the move, I searched for apartments near the Medical Center and was impressed with the ease of scheduling an appointment at this property. During the tour, the leasing professional provided exceptional service and answered all of my questions, which made the process seamless. Although I still have a few more properties to visit, this one is definitely at the top of my list due to its desirable location and competitive pricing.

Today, I went on a tour and was impressed with the A6 floor plan. The staff welcomed me warmly, standing up to greet me with smiles and making me feel right at home. Feeling at home is always a welcome experience, especially for someone who has moved from another country. The staff was polite and helpful, even introducing me to the maintenance staff who walked in. As a result, I am submitting my application today. I am delighted to have found my new home.

The people at Scotland Yard Apartment office do excellent work and I like the way they do business. Always available to help anyone that comes into the office, they do resident events to get to know us and so that we meet our neighbors as well. Very recommended!!!!

Absolutely horrible office staff! No one EVER PICKS UP THE PHONE! EVER! If you have any kind of emergency and need to talk to them do not even bother...issues are never resolved and nobody cares to help...can not wait for my lease to be over so i can get out of here! They have new people at the office every week! They have no clue what are they doing and refuse to pick up the phone and do their job! Unbelievable! Apartments are so outdated and everything is falling apart!

Really bad, from the beginning process until the end of my lease. Staff really rude. Not organized and I have not received my deposit until now. I called greystar , I could not get anybody on hold and I called the leasing office the lady I spoke with was rude. Usually when you rent you may have a problem with your neighbor but in this property the residents were ok. The management was bad, making many mistakes , do not update any people informations. They asked us to get our own rental insurance and I did everything was ok, the other company was charging me for the rental insurance while they were still charging me for that. I told them to put my credit balance back they said that there was nothing they can do about it. First Andrea told me she could not see my new rental insurance in the system but the other guy who was working there was able to see it . But he could not do anything, he promised me to tell that to their manager if he did or not I do not know. For two months I was paying double rental insurance for the same apartment. The last month of my lease when I saw that conservative was going to charge me again for rental insurance, I had to cancel for the rental insurance that they resquested me to have and I kept for them. They never paid my money back for paying twice a rental insurance. I assumed that the Information did not reach their manager or he did not care. The same thing happened to me also when I moved out I gave them my new address to send my deposit but they still did not do that and until now I have not receive my deposit return. Before I changed my address to the post office greystar sent me a mail there and I saw it because I had inform delivery for the post office there. I called the leasing office because I thought that greystar sent me the deposit there but the lady I spoke to was so rude. My rental period there was stressful. In addition to that the apartment was really old I could not sleep in my bedroom for the whole period that I was there because the apartment above mine had a water running there all the time and gets really annoying .When I moved there for the past 10 days of the beginning of my lease, my apartment had a refrigerator with a broken Handel, I called and even emailed Andrea to fix the Handel nothing was done until the day I told her that I was tired to call or to email. Please do not charge me when I am going to move out for something that I did not do. Before giving someone an apartment this thing suppose to be fixed. But it was not fixed before I moved in. I really do not know why the management was behaving like that. I even called and emailed them for my deposit they do not respond to people emails even call back. My leasing period was so stressful. sometimes when you moved out from an apartment and go somewhere else and regret moving out from your old apartment or building you may want to go back. But the way they behave does not push anybody to move back there. Please think carefully before you move there, everybody has their own experience, my mistake was to apply to this property before reading other people reviews. If I red it before I would never apply there.

I moved into Scotland Yard on Nov. 2020, and today is Feb. 2021. I'd like to share a few things: 1. The online auto-pay system is deceptive. When I moved in, the first thing I did was to set up an auto-pay for one entire year. In December, it worked fine. In January, probably due to the year change, Scotland yard's online auto-pay system did not function. When I got back from New Year's break on Jan 4th, I was charged an extra $90 late fee. After paying the rent + late fee as a whole, I called the management and tried to get my late fee back. After waiting on the phone for >30 minutes, the staff told me the manager refused to refund me the fee and claimed that it is the resident's fault for not paying enough attention to whether the payment is going through smoothly or not. I am highly skeptical that the management team intentionally designed the "online system malfunction" to fraud for residents' late fees. 2. The staff never takes care of your words seriously. When I moved in, the dishwasher was leaking and one of the drawers was broken. I mentioned this to the staff when I was signing the move-in form and she promised to get things fixed on the next day. Then, the maintenance people never came. I talked to another staff about this again and things didn't change. It was not until I submitted the work order online when I got proper maintenance. This January, my apartment was suffering from low hot water pressure during a period. This time, I was smart enough to submit a maintenance request online. The repair person came, changed the faucet in my kitchen and washstand respectively, leaving the shower unrepaired. I complained about this to the staff, and she told me their plumbers are busy with "emergency" and don't have time to take care of my "minor issue". Several days later, the staff told me that their boiler is not getting enough water pressure from the city and asked ME to call 311 to petition for maintenance from the city. Thanks to their efficiency, I wasn't able to take a proper shower for almost one week. Yesterday, after a one-week-long water outage (which is understandable due to the winter storm), our apartment finally got water back. Today, the management suddenly stopped the water supply, with an email saying "We're fortunate to find an early water leakage spot. We have contacted the vendor, requested additional maintenance, but we have to cut the water supply for an uncertain amount of time." To be honest, I don't feel fortunate at all. When I got home today, I didn't find ANYONE who seems to be working on this issue around the apartment. After a week's water outage from weather, we're experiencing another water outage from management for an infinite amount of time.
