The Lofts was not as upscaled as we thought it would be from the website. It took Valet 15 minutes to come and get our car. Once he approached us he greeted us with a "Yo". We dismissed it as he is just overworked and an underpaid service employee. We approached the desk and greeted the pregnant assistant and she was not pleasant in the least bit. The woman did not respond to us or acknowledge our congratualtions to her pregnancy. She escorted us through the main entrance and disappeared, therefore we had to "guide" ourselves through the building. The Loft was nice and intimate, but it did not have the view we anticipated. Needless to say, we left unhappy and disgruntled. Hope that the tenants are happy with the service that they receive at the Lofts. As we viewed the Loft we were interested with, we had to tell friends to seek their home elsewhere. Not for US! YO!

Not as great as the positives are saying either. I've lived here since mid 2008. I recently bought a second unit here (went from 1 bedroom/1 bath to 2 bedroom/2 bath). By and large, the residents you run into are actually quite nice. The problems come from the few alpha males here that seem to think that because they are semi-rich, the rules don't apply to them. But like I said, for the most part the people here are quite nice. For the most part, the staff are quite nice and quite helpful. Some more than others. The maintenance staff are all quite nice and very helpful. The front desk staff varies from person to person. The security guards are all very nice as long as you don't constantly piss them off. The building manager is useless. She only seems to care about the concerns of a resident if said resident has a net worth of 8 or more figures. But you can usually get any issues resolved by working with the person at the front desk. Security is more or less a facade. There are locked doors all around the building that need a fob to get in, but really, if someone wanted to get in, all they'd need to do is stand around for a minute or two and follow someone in. The security cameras are also a joke. I've seen some of the recorded footage from them. The picture quality is so poor that most of the time you can't even make out the gender of someone who has been recorded. Soundproofing in the units is quite good with the single exception of the ceilings. If the person in the unit above has hard shoes on, or is sliding a chair or something around, you can hear it if they are directly above you. Apart from that, it's very quiet. Parking is assigned, but as best I can tell, the assignments are borderline random. My 1st floor unit had a spot on the 3rd floor of the garage, and my 6th floor unit has 2 spots on the 1st floor of the garage. With a few exceptions, it seems to be that there is 1 parking spot per bedroom assigned to each unit. The roof is for guest parking, but it seems to be getting more and more full these days. When I moved in, there were easily 30 open spots up there, now it gets down to maybe 10. Also, the garage is pretty poorly designed, and people tend to drive WAY too fast through it, so there is always a fear that someone is going to run into you. The location is fantastic. The only issue is the Hilton next door. The valets there are lazy and park cars all down the side road between the hotel and here, making it nearly impossible to drive through if someone is coming the other direction. The amenities are alright. The gym is nice, but could be improved. The pools just seem too small and too many. I'd rather that they replaced one of the pools with a basketball court or something. 5 tiny pools is just odd. There is a movie theater you can rent for free if you live here. 20 seats and a (I think) 112" screen. Free coffee and wi-fi in the lobby. So overall, if you can handle a few obnoxious neighbors, mildly annoying parking, a building manager that doesn't care about you, and a hotel next door, you'd like it here. If you need everything perfect or want a great view (the highest point in the entire place is 8 stories, and on almost every side there are 20 story buildings nearby), you'd be better off somewhere else.

I have lived here for awhile now and love the location, design, security, and staff at the lofts on Post Oak. The property is always well maintained and I feel as if I'm at a hotel every day.

Some reviews don't even slightly represent the loft we love. IT has everything anyone could ever want!!! IN the main building we have never heard our neighbors. But we have some great ones. All the amenities of a hotel in an upscale home atmosphere. Yes, even a valet to help with your bags and groceries., great gyms, pools, gourmet kitchen and a marvelous private movie theatre...a coffee bar, internet cafe', conference room...you name it. We love it here. We're in the main building- found The Lofts on line and it's lived up to its website- even beyond...LOVE LOPO!!

I own a unit at this facility and have rented it for the last 4 years because I can not stand to live there. It is awful and the manager has no interest in the tenants. The building is a nightmare. I am so happy living at The Domain at City Centre Town and Country. It is exactly what The Lofts On Post Oak used to be.

You can hear all the noices around the apartment, especially neighbors above. Very clean amenities. Property management is hard to deal with. They do not make you feel at home.

I've lived at LOPO for the last 3 years and love it! I'm an owner, not a renter and you can certainly tell the difference of who owns and who rents. Most of the riff-raff is slowly leaving the building and I couldn't be happier about that. And as far as I'm concerned, the renters can stay away. It's much nicer with people who care about what they own. As far as some of the negative comments, I'll leave those to the renters who are now gone. It's a great place and couldn't be easier to get around town from and incredibly convienient to everything. It's all about location. First class amenities all around and with all the new things opening on Post Oak, it's just getting better and better but again, the cheesy renters need to stay away. I don't mean all of them, just the ones who have no clue how to take care of anything. I couldn't be happier!

Folks, this is the best apartment I have ever lived in. The valet, the energy, the tenants, truely world class. There is nothing in the area that comes close.

I move to the Lofts on Post Oak three years ago. I have gotten to know most people in the building. It is like a city with in a city, and has wonderful people who care about each other. Also, the building has social events, and lofts of area taht can be reserved for private events. Love the location - close to everything.

It's amazing how naive the previous writer was. Just based on a few bad comments and has decided not to live at this location. There are so many people living here, myself included, and we just living fine. Of course, there are some instances that makes me uncomfortable, but that's just like anywhere else. Nothing is perfect. ANOTHER THING... ANYTIME WHEN THERE ARE COMMENTS OR REVIEWS, THE ONES THAT HAS BAD EXPERIENCES BEFORE ARE THE ONES WRITING, BECAUSE OF ANGER AND EMOTIONS INVOLVED. Second.... how many tenants/owners will see this website and write in it? So please .... THINK!
