As the last review read, this apartment complex is horrible. I am a tenant who was not aware that there was a gun-mugging on the property. My car was stolen in a space right in front of my apartment. The only security that you get around the place is an occassional orange sticker warning you to "bring ur state stickers up to date" or they will tow ur car. Uhhh "WHAT ABOUT THE CONSTANT NOISE LEVEL AND GUN ROBBING". The management could give a rat's butt about the place and they live there. DO NOT MOVE HERE. THE CHEAP RENT IS NOT WORTH THE HEADACHE. I AM A COLLEGE STUDENT WHO NEEDED A QUICK PLACE TO MOVE IN AND IT HAS INSPIRED ME TO MAKE MORE MONEY TO MOVE ON UP. oh AND I Didn't MENTION HOW HORRIBLE PARKING IS. MINIMUM SPACES AND SMALL SPACES ONLY FOR COMPACT CARS SUCH AS GEO METROS.

I have lived here for almost a year now, and am counting down the days until my lease is up. When I first moved in, they changed my apartment number 3 times, when I had already set up all of my utilities. Then, as if the neighborhood isn't bad enough, they put me in an apartment that I have to walk down a poorly lit walkway behind the building to get to. Let's not forget that the fence bordering this lovely little walkway is usually broken.

Ooh, ooh, the following is my favorite part!!

Two weeks ago I was mugged at gunpoint in the parking lot. Our "courtesy patrol" has 15 properties to "patrol" on a nightly basis, so despite my blood curdling screams, not a soul was to be found. I guess that sort of thing is commonplace here. When I went to the leasing office to tell them what had happened, the leasing agents were very nice, as they always have been. She even made sure I got my locks changed within minutes.

After reporting the incident, I expected management to notify the other residents about what had happened, as has always happened in any other apartment complex that I've lived in. But nothing. It shouldn't have really surprised me, they don't seem to care that the gate is broken on a daily basis. The pedestrian gates are never locked, and that's when they have doorknobs, and the lighting is so bad, I have to carry a flashlight with me to walk to my apartment at night.

It gets better...

I went back to the office a few days later when I decided I wanted to see what it would cost to get out of my lease. Several dozen calculations later, my grand total was somewhere around $1300. I asked the manager if she could possibly make any sort of concession because of what happened, because of the safety violations, etc. The fact that she wouldn't even consider it wasn't enough, she proceeded to tell me "it's not like you're the only one this has ever happened to". Yes, that makes the situation MUCH more acceptable. Whether you care about my situation or not is irrelevant. The point is that you are in customer service, and your job is to act like you have a soul for at least 40 per week. Unpleasant words were exchanged after this point, which are irrelevant to the incident, but my point is that the manager of this property is completely rude and unprofessional, and this was not the first experience I had of this behavior.

On top of all that, I have to wade through ankle deep water every time it rains, my electric bill is $240 a month because the air just runs constantly and it never gets cold, the mailboxes might as well be made out of cardboard because you can open any of them at your leisure, they will tow your car when you're in a legal space but one tire is touching the grass, the list goes on and on and ON.

To make an already long story short, do NOT move here. If you live here, do NOT renew your lease. You deserve better.
