I will start off my review by saying the only two reasons I am giving this property 2 stars are because of the location and it allows short term rental; everything else is most certainly lacking. Please do not consider this property unless you are desperate. Apartment was not move-in ready. Took maintenance 6 times to fix my AC. Customer service does not follow through on any commitments they provide. With their Resident Portal I have had issues from the get-go. I was charged for gas, water, and sewer when I was not even in the apartment...now the system is saying I do not have renter's insurance (so wow! a new charge) when it was provided at move-in. No matter what they say, the system charges you for EFT, a first for me. Keep in mind that you will pay for valet trash even when they are not consistently picking it up. All in all, this property is not a good option for price and amenities. None of their provisions work properly and the homes are dated even when they have been cosmetically upgraded. Beware of clogged pipes, old AC parts, and inconsistent valet trash pickup. Don’t forget the overworked and understaffed staff.

We stayed at Delray from March 2022 to June 2022, while our house was being built. From the get go, the application process was super easy. Patricia and the rest of the management team was very nice and helpful. The walls are thick enough to isolate neighbors' sounds. We are very happy that we stayed here. It is a true gem (very affordable) in the Energy Corridor. Most aparment units have moden design and appliances, if you pick the 3-story aparment buildings. Also, the apartment complex grounds are so beautiful in the summer due to the large lilac trees. We are very thankful to Patricia and her team for helping us during this transition period.

I am going on 3yrs living here and I love it. Patricia and Ashley and the staff are all wonderful. It's quiet and safe to live here. You couldn't find a better place to call home. Thank you Patricia, Ashley and everyone.

I visited Houston TX from Seattle WA for a week earlier in June in search of apartments. Having previously lived in Houston over 2 years ago, I chose this zip code at the Energy Corridor which I was already familiar with. After a series of searches and attempts to contact the apartments I was that caught my attention, Patricia, the manager at Delray, reached out to me and spoke in the warmest and kindest tone ever. I drove by and got a tour in the new buildings although I was gunning to move into the much older building by the 28th of June. I can't remember what I paid for to retain the apartment, before I left for Seattle. On the 28th, my flight from Seattle touched down in Houston by 5:54am. After stopping by at a friend's to get my things from the previous trip, I got to Delray at about 9am as agreed with Patricia in my previous visit. After the paperwork and payment, I moved in. For the little things that needed attention, like getting the storage lock to use the same key as the apartment, the maintenance guys have been extremely swift - unlike my experience in my last apartment in Seattle. That was a relief. Patricia was kind, professional and reliable every step of the way, and I am glad that I eventually ended up loving an apartment I had chosen over pictures - since I couldn't get a tour in a prototype apartment. She's proven to be credible and I would recommend her and the Delray community any day. Coincidentally, I have met a few tenants who have lived in the community since 2019. Now, that's a big deal in the rental world. There's are two pools; one is about 3'5" while the other goes from 3'5" to 5'. I have swum in both of them. There is also a gym and an Amazon Hub for packages. It's also a gated community and safe. I'll add more whenever I get the chance.

Thank you to the all the staff especially the friendly maintenance staff that greeted me with free breakfast at the gate. I appreciate the time and effort that the Del Ray staff put in on a daily to make the property an amazing place to live in.

Great place to live glad I chose this property. The staff is wonderful wouldn't trade them for the world. Property is well maintained. I have never had any problems here would definitely recommend to friends.

I have enjoyed living here for the past year and have decided to renew my lease. I think for the price it's pretty good, and I have yet to see a roach or pest in my apartment aside from the occasional spider or silverfish.

The Delray is a small quiet and beautiful property that has great amenities, a friendly staff, and a price point that you can afford for a nice spacious apartment. It’s close to public transportation, schools, eateries and major stores.

Nobody cares what happens here when the office is closed. So after 5pm it’s Purge rules. Is somebody in your parking spot? Have you yourself been towed? Have you been injured by a guest on property? Have you been threatened with being shot? Hopefully it can wait till Monday morning.

El equipo de mantenimiento siempre está al tanto. La propiedad se mantiene limpio y es callado nunca e tenido problema. Estoy feliz de vivir aquí y ahora con la señorita Jessi todo se me hace más fácil en poder comunicarme con ella ya que es bilingüe es muy amigable.
