I have been a resident here at Breckenridge for almost four years now. Any time i ever had a problem with my appliances (which is not often because they aren't that bad) maintenance has come out that day or if not the next. I don't personally have an ice maker in my apartment but they told me before i moved in that ice makers were not provided so be glad if you even have one.I have NEVER heard of a car crashing into one of the buildings and the gun shots are due to a nearby gun range 2 blocks over. The only cop cars I see driving into the apartments are the ones that are patrolling which to me is a good thing not a bad one. I never had any problems with the staff. They have been very nice to me from the day i moved in until now and any concerns i had they always listened and did something about. I have lived in many different apartments and have not always had great experiences but i would consider Breckenridge to be one of the good ones: the price is good, the staff is good, the apartment is nice looking, and my neighbors are nice. I have recommended these apartments to a few of my friends and they feel the exact same way. The only reason i can think of maintenance not fixing your things is because maybe you didn't say anything until now or put it in writing like our lease says too. I think the managers are doing a great job to help us and make us happy and they deserve some credit. My friends tried to lease here last month and the property doesn't have any vacant apartments so I think they are doing something right. You have the right to your opinion and so do I.

First let me say, I am a good, clean tenant who never really complains and I always pay my rent on time. I've lived here for two years and cannot WAIT until my lease is up! I am miserable living here at times. I have a one bedroom which looks as though I'm being charged for a studio apartment even though I'm not. The cramped living room is the size of a shoe box. With my small couch and even smaller coffee table you literally can't fit three people comfortably in it. The maintenance is awful in these old apartments. Im going to break down several things that are important and have never been fixed: All the appliances are from the 80s and breaking down. My a/c unit CONSTANTLY leaks and floods and all I'm told is that the whole thing would have to be replaced which is too expensive and "impossible". The entire closet is constantly covered in mold where the unit is, I can't keep it clean! The ice machine doesn't work and has been "fixed" five times. It took them an entire year to fix my bath tub which is rotting out of the wall (evidence was covered by paint which has now worn away) The push open/close stopper in the tub wouldnt close so I couldn't fill up the tub if I wanted to. Each time they came over they would somehow (fix it) and then it wouldn't work the next time. Our stove top is crooked, I mean vertically crooked so all my food I cook runs to one side of the pan, I've asked to have this fixed and it was pretty much the same situation as the a/c unit. The dishwasher does not clean the dishes, I've never had a problem with one before. Now on to bad experiences I've had living here: Guns (not fireworks) are shot nearby occasionally, followed by about four police cars swarming the parking lot with their lights on at 2am. A man who was under the influence drove a STOLEN suv into a tree, then into two cars and finally crashed into the apartment building next to mine..I was up late and saw the whole thing after hearing him crash into the tree outside, it was on the news the next day... Christmas 2010 I got robbed. I was packing in groceries and some blonde woman ran in my apartment and stole several items. I saw her escaping my apartment when I was walking upstairs. Called the police and notified management. They did nothing and said I should've had insurance. I should have but I wouldve appreciated a little concern. I could go on but I think this will do.

I have lived here maybe 3 months the worst decision for anyone that has a family. They want to keep you locked Up like caged animals. Don't think about sitting out to watch your kids play. They have given more than ten violations In the short time I have been here. All because my kids leave their toys on the porch. Yolanda likes to feel like she can do anything to anybody. She thinks just cuz she works here that she can mistreat whomever is NOT STAYING INSIDE of their home. I pay my rent and I still get harrassed by this lady. My neighbors get harrassed just as much because of their color. I have mixed people here an because of that I am a target of racism. Let me tell you about there "security"! Its a bunch of b***----. The officer actually said to my husband that there is to many colored people outside of my apt. Everyone who was here got searched for drugs cuz they were black. His words and actions not mine. Around here he is known as flatface. He will search anyone he sees walking if they are black. "TO RACIST TO BE AN OFFICER OF THE LAW IF YOU ASK ME. HE HARRASSED MY FAMILY FOR TWO WKS STRAIGHT." I finally got fed up enough to call to police to report how abusive he was being to me and my guest. Every since that single phone call I made he stopped coming to my apt. The officer is just like the jacked up management they have here. The officer actually search someones apt here an took their drugs without reporting it to the office. Once I made the phone call to his supervisor the people of the incident were told to move outwith ever anything being reported to the police. If they had drugs then they should have been arrested an handled like any other persons who just got into trouble with the law. Every day the cops sit inside the gate an won't let you out until they tear up your vehicle serching it,towing it, or just plain harassing you for your color. ITS A BIT TO RIDICULOUS AN WAY TOO MUCH TROUBLE TO LIVE HERE. THE LOCATION IS PERFECT EXCEPT FOR ALL THE ABUSE FROM PEOPLE WHO THINK THEY ARE CAPABLE OF DOING WHATEVER THEY WANT TO THE TENANTS. THIS INCLUDES THE SECURITY THE MANAGEMENT YOLANDA, LUCIA, SHAUN AN EVERYONE ELSE THAT WORKS ON THIS PROPERTY. DON'T LEAVE ANYTHING ON YOUR PORCH FOR IT IS UNACCEPTABLE. SO ANYONE WHO IS READING THIS TAKE INTO ACCOUNT ALL THAT HAS BEEN SAID. I HAVE NO REASON TO MAKE ANYTHING LIKE THIS UP.

I've been living here for the past four years and I have seen some major improvements around the property and the new office staff is great. The new manager is very inviting and she responds to my concerns very quickly, I believe she is the best one yet!!! I had and issue with my carpet and she was very concerned and she fixed my problem right away. The property is really improving the only thing I think they need to work on is the dumpsters and their location we have to drive our nasty trash on top of cars to get to the dumpsters if they can change the locations and spread them over the entire property this issue will be resolved. But I will recommend other people to this apartments.

my husband and i moved to Houston TX ... and this was our 1st hm here the apt was nice ... when they showed it to us the only thing we didn't like were a few roaches crawling around in the kitchen ... the leasing agent said they would take care of that. 2 wks later we moved in we still had the bug problem after 3 months of living there our car window was broken ... our tires were cut .. our up stairs neighbor smoked marijuana all the time .. i wanted to jump in the pool on day ... i was so disgusted when i saw a used pad in the pool... there was always a gang of kids walking around .. throwing things around .. our ac went out 4 times they would come and fix it and by the next day it didn't work !!! i called again to report it was a pain to get anything fixed .. well one of the Maintenance guys came with the manger the manger had the nerve to tell me that i was to keep the ac on at all times .... like she was going to pay my damn light bill !!! i told her something is wrong with the ac unit .. they finally looked and yeah 3 wires were burned out... i cant believe she came in the apt yelling at me and my husband ordering us to keep on the ac at all times ... 3wks later my husband got really sick i had to take him to the hospital ... they ran alot of test it turned out that he had gotten sick due to mold ... the doctor asked us if we have been anywhere with mold .. we didn't know we had the apt checked within 48 hrs it tested positive for mold i was wondering why i didn't get sick the doctor said it affected my husband more because he has Asma ... i was so upset .. thankful our lease was up and left that horrible place .. i had made a friend there , she told she broke her lease due to rats thank god i didn't experience that ... people if you are thinking about moving here dont !!!!

I have lived on this community for almost ten years and there have been alot of changes over the years. We have had several ladies in the office seems like they change about every 6 months sometimes for the good sometimes not. The current manager has been doing a great job with this property cleaning out some of the rifraf that was here. The maintenance staff is also great if I call in a work order it usually gets done the same day. A few weeks back my refrigerator went out Mr.Rudis was very gracious to come out and repair it immediately. I have recommended this property to my coworkers and friends and I have received several resident referrals.

There are RATS in the apartment complex and ROACHES!!!!!!!!!!!!! the management SUCKS !!!!!!!!!!! i have told them about the rats and roaches and the do nothing ! you have to go to the office several times to get anything FIXED there are all of gangs of kids outside , trash is everywhere ... there are only 4 dumpers and the are all the way in the back .... the water gets cut off without notice. once you step out of your apt you can smell the marijuana!!!!!!!!! some of the people PEE AT THE POOL !!!!!!! , YOU CAN HEAR THE RATS ALL NIGHT MOVING AROUND THE WALLS ONCE THE AC TURNS OFF ... ITS SCARY TO THINK THAT ONE NIGHT THE RATS MIGHT COME IN YOUR APT ..... ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE KIDS .. THERE ARE ALOT OF OTHER PLACE PLEASE DON'T MOVE HERE .... EVERYTHING IS HORRIBLE !!!!!!!!!!!!

I rented at these apartments a few years ago and I was very unsatisfied with the ladies in the office and the grounds keepers. But I have recently moved into them again and it has been an immaculate change. The women in the office actually care about what you have to say and your concerns and are very good about getting to and fixing you problem or concern. I have never gotten such hospitality in all my renting days like I have at these apartments. The maintenance guys are great very sweet and very good at what they do. I was very surprised at how kind and respectful the whole staff is. They truly care about their tenants and truly have made my renting experience a delight.

THESE APARTMENTS ARE THE WORST IN TEXAS! I HAVE LIVED HERE A TOTAL OF 6 MONTHS AND LET ME JUST SAY THIS HAS BEEN A REAL NEGATIVE EXPERIENCE! THERE IS MOLD IN THE APARTMENTS, THE ROACHES ARE TERRIBLE , THE KIDS ARE OUT ALL NITE AND ARE LEFT UNATTENDED! WHICH IS NO FAULT OF THE MANAGEMENT TEAM BUT THERE IS ALSO NO SECURITY, THE TRASH CANS STAY FULL AND NASTY! ELECTRICAL AND PLUMBING ISSUES ARENT BEING DEALT WITH AND ITS JUST A VERY UNPLEASANT PLACE TO BE. THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT NEEDS TO INVESTIGATE AND THESE APARTMENTS NEED TO BE CONDEMNED! PARKING IS CRAZY BECAUSE THERE IS HARDLY ANY PARKING CLOSE TO WHERE YOU LIVE AND AS FAR AS THE NOISE ITS NOT TOO BAD BUT LOTS OF WORK NEEDS TO BE DONE! THIS PLACE IS NOT FIT FOR AN ANIMAL TO LIVE IN! PLEASE SHOP AROUND! I GOT INTO THIS HELL HOLE BECAUSE I HAD A BROKEN LEASE BUT LATER DUE TO THE MANANGEMENT NOT KEEPING UP THERE END OF THE LEASE AGREEMENT WAS LET OUUT OF MY LEASE . THERE ARE PLENTY OF OTHER APARTMENTS THAT TAKE PEOPLE WITH BROKEN LEASES ! DO NOT CONSIDER BRECKENRIDGE COURT!

Upon moving in, we were greeted with a huge roach infestation, a bathroom that needed new caulking, used and stained carpet, carpet where they told us tile would be, our air conditioning drip pan overflowed with rusty water into our bathroom (twice in the first 2 days after the maintenance attempted to repair it), our refrigerator door was on the wrong way making us have to squeeze around the door to get in. Our maintenance requests went unnanswered and the landlady Ms. Jo, is rude, unprofessional and enters apartments without reason or permission. The pool is also dirty, the playground often has broken glass around and the washing room facilities leave your clothes greasy and dirtier than when you put them in. Also people tear the cable boxes off the walls. Rethink your decision to move there.
