My girlfriend lives here and I spend the night at least 5 times a week because it's closer to my job. Parking here is great, a lot better than some other apartment communities I've lived in. Shortly after my girl moved in she needed to switch units because walking upstairs was messing with her knee injury. The office was really nice about it and had her in a new unit in less than a week. Her neighbors tend to keep to themselves but we don't mind, I like privacy. Maintenance is also pretty good. They fixed her ac within 24 hours of it being reported as broken.

I researched apartments all the way from Missouri and these really stood out because of the school and the area. I was familiar with the area due to the fact that I visited frequently. Now that I have moved in I HATE IT!!! The people in the office are unorganized, unprofessional, unconcerned. I've tried contacted the management huh thats a joke. I've found out that its not the maintenance its the office that is not putting in the order. When I gave them money in August they never told me that they would be changed their utilites. When I was in the middle of signing the lease in September thats when they tell me oh yeah you have to pay water. WTH! And you didnt think that was vital information when I had been calling for 6 months and when I gave you my money. Then the water bill comes in December for the month of Sept-Oct. Really people?? Then it looks like they double billing. I told them I will not pay this because this is not accurrate. Then it was a leak for like 2months how the hell will people know whats right on their bill. Im trying to file a complaint on them as we speak! Oh yeah the gates have never worked!! So much for privacy!

I am not exactly sure how these apartments operate, but I applied a little over 2 weeks ago and they did my job and rental history check very quickly, but I never heard anything back from them after that. They do not seem that professional either. Fortunately, during that time I was able to do more research on them based on ratings from this site. I have a little kid and would hate to have to be worried about things like this when we come home, especially around this time of year. Thankfully, I am no longer interested in this property and have found something else, that had a heck of a lot better ratings than this place. To think that I assumed that just driving by to visit a place would be more beneficial than checking them out online, at least I know better now.

I have been living herew for 6 months now and I can't wait to move out. I have been calling for some type of maintenance problem since we moved in and they rarely come by to fix the problems. The staff is really nice and friendly, but the gates don't close, the curfew isn't enforced and children run through the complex unattended and unsupervised at all hours of the day and night. We also have bugs in here on a regular basis, baby roaches, spiders, cockroaches, ants, you name it, we've had it. Not to mention, it's the middle of June and the pool has yet to be opened. We also have parking problems. This has to be a low income/Section 8/Good Times projects and I can't wait to move out of here when my lease is up. Just because the staff is friendly, that doesn't make for a good reason to stay here.

the current manager of Plano, taxes location is mentally sick and extremely rood and disrespectful,Also, she is more racist than ----'s. we had a party at apartment club house and she intentionally disconnect the Air conditioning in the middle of July and ruined my party,several times we called maintenance and they ignored to fixed the AC ,we looking for another apartment for my disable parents who are suffering from manager, please give us recommendations.

I lived there for about a yr ...it was a nice apt , quiet for a while . around my 5 month of living there the true colors of PARK VILLAGE came out !!! some teenage kids broke in to a vacant apt next door to me .. oh my lord the would go in there with bottles of beer they played music loud the whole night ... my car was keyed my mail was stolen . i complained to the office but they didn't care the only thing they care about is the money . A few weeks later my best friend came over .. we were watching a movie and feel asleep . we woke up at around 9:00 pm she was getting ready to go hm .. we walk out and her car is missing !!!!!!! we walked all over the complex the car was gone .. then a few minutes later a guy says are you looking for a black car ?? we answer yes hes says oh four guys with a knife and bloody shirts drive away in it .. we were like what ? we call the police we reported it stolen the police told us that they are looking for that car because it was involved in a crime they took down all our info and tells us that when they find the car they will let us now ... 2wks later they find the car all 4 men went to jail for 2 crimes , RAPE , GRAND THEFT AUTO... that following day i moved the hell out of there ... please don't move her your life will be in danger

MY HUSBAND AND I LOOKED AT THESE APARTMENT JUST LAST WEEK. WE WALKED THROUGH THE DOORS AND OVER HEARD THE MANAGER DISRESPECTING A WOMAN WHO WAS TELLING THEM ABOUT HER NEIGHBOR WITH LOUD MUSIC. AS SHE WALKED OUT THE DOOR TO HER WHITE CAR WITH MILITARY TAGS ( NOW THAT IS SAD WHEN OUR VETERANS BEING TREATED LIKE THAT) THE MANAGER APOLOGIZED AND CLAIM THAT THE WOMAN WAS CRAZY AND ALWAYS COMING UP COMPLAINING. I DOUBT THAT, SHE WAS YOUNG AND HAD 3 CHILDREN IN HER CAR AND WELL DRESSED. AFTER THE MANAGER SHOWED US WHAT THEY CALL A 4 BEDROOM APRATMENT, WHICH IS NOT....IT IS A 3 BEDROOM UP STAIRS WITH A LIVING ROOM AND DININGROOM/W DOUBLE DOORS. SHE THAT THE DINING ROOM IS A BEDROOM. MY HUSBAND AND I DID NOT GET THIS APARTMENT NOR DID WE WANT TO MOVE IN THIS COMPLEX...BECAUSE 1) THE MANAGER DISCLOSE INFORMATION OF A TENTANT WHO IS IN THE ARMED FORCES CLAIMING SHE IS CRAZY---IN FACT SHE NOT I FOUND HER AND MY HUSBAND AND I THANKED HER AND HER HUSBAND FOR THEIR SERVICE IN THE MILITARY AND TOLD THEM WHAT THE MANAGER SAID, I HOPE THEY TURN THEM IN TO THE HAA AND TAA AND THE VETERAN ADMINSTRATION SO THEY CAN PUT THIS COMPLEX AS A NO HOUSING ZONE FOR VETS OR STUDENTS. 2) THE AREA IS NOISEY AND THERE ARE TOO MANY CHILDREN WHO STAY IN THE STREET AND DON'T KNOW HOW TO GET OUT OF THE STREET. 3) THE ACCESS GATES HAVE BEEN DESTORYED SO IT IS A FREE FOR ALL, ANYBODY CAN COME IN AND OUT. DON'T RENT A PLACE HERE MANAGEMNT WILL TELL YOUR BUSINESS OR MAKE UP LIES ON YOU AND PROTECT THE ONES WHO GIVE THEM EXTRA UNDER THE TABLE.

I lived at this place until last month and I just found out that the one person that cared about the people and park village here is GONE. Ms. Carol worked at this property for a long time longer than the manager. If you call or come to the office the manager and her assistant will treat you like crap, but Ms. Carol gave you respect and helped you. Ms. Carol should have stay and they should have fired the others. The white and black people get lease violations for sitting outside or having visiter but the mexican people sit out and lay on blankets all the time and have a lot of people living with them. I had cps called on me when I had words with the manager and their officer, cps said told me that the officer and the manager called on me. Then they refused my rent and filed eviction. I called upper management but they would not return my calls. Do not go to this place unless managers change

These apartments are for low income/section 8. They were designed back in 1995 not for the purpose of low income/section 8. Through the over turn of management and the change off owners these are apartments have turn into one of Houston's troubled neighborhood. Management don't care what moves in as long as they get their money.The gated community access gates are wide open to allow anyone to come and go from anywhere. Mail boxes are tampered with by the neighborhood children, property are constantly being taken off your own back paito by the neighborhood children, and don't let it be a holiday like the 4th of July and Halloween; your doorway will have fire cracker burns from them setting them off at your door and egged because the children enjoy doing it every year for Halloween. What is really sad is that a drug lord can be living next to you and your family because in their leasing agreement on page 6 section 24 of the resident safety and loss and crime and emergency states "We're not responsible for obtaining criminal history checks on any resident, occupant, guest, or contractor in the apartment community. if you or any occupant or guest are affected by a crime, you must make a written reprot to our representative and to the local law enforcement". Sad to say that if you move into these apartments you are own your own, because the contractor my have a record or even you neighhor and you will be living next door to drug dealers or young girls or women who put themselves up for extra money. And as far as calling you local law enforcement, they know what is in goes on in these apartments and don't care. They have one once in a while security officer who do not patrol at night when thing are happening. Don't count on maintaince too much. They get there when they do even if you put your order in first thing in the morning. Water in constantly being shut off for repairs, 3 time in the month of August 2010. It would be better off if you rented a house for this amount and have a peace of mind and the security you need. So the person who wrote the review stating they loved it here and been there for 3 years, have wrote a false review and must have been an employee to help boost these apartment ratings. i have been to their office with several written complaints and was rudely mistreated by the manager. She will be nice to ou until you sign that lease and then Ms. Hyde will come out especially if you let her know she is not doing her job. Housing Authorities and SBI need to investatigate this place.

I HAVE BEEN LIVING AT PARK VILLAGE FOR ABOUT 3 YEARS NOW. I MUST SAY THAT THE PRICE IS VERY REASONABLE FOR THE SIZE OF THE APARTMENT I HAVE. I HAVE TO DISAGREE WITH THE OTHER POSTINGS BECAUSE I HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH ROACHES OR MAINTENANCE SINCE IVE LIVED HERE. WHEN I DO CALL THE OFFICE FOR A MAINTENANCE PROBLEM, MISS CAROLYN AND THE OTHER OFFICE LADIES ALWAYS MAKES SURE THEY TAKE OF MY PROBLEM. THERE COULD BE MORE ACTIVITIES FOR THE CHILDREN AROUND HERE, BUT THAT ISNT A MAJOR FACTOR. HONESTLY, I LOVE MY APARTMENT....
