I went to look for my own home. I checked out the reviews and said let me check them out myself. They have good living prices as well good sizes different floor plans. The floor plan I fell in love with was the large one bedroom. The office staff was nice enough to show me the actual apartment I was would be moving into. I liked that she took the time to explain a lot of useful information. My parents use to live here when I was a kid and they told me to check it out it was time to move out on my own. I see that maintenance are long term guys and I am 100% service request will be taken care of. I will most definitely come back they show you that you are welcome.

I was told by management that the visitors could park along the fence when there is no visitor spots available needless to say my daughter's car got towed. They only have 20 spaces and out of those 20 spaces when I went to take pictures at 6am three of those spots were taken by tenets and this is a big property so your guess cannot even come to visit. I had mentioned this concern back in February of 2017 that this was going on. That's why I was told that I could park along the fence the person back tracted what they said needless to say I had to pay the fees there's plenty of parking for the Tenants so there's no reason why they shouldn't be any spaces for a visitor. And this is the 2nd time I mention it to the property and still no letters have gone out that's a tenant should not park in the visitors sections. So if you want your family to come visit you or your children this is not the property for you Because your family member's car will get towed before a tenets car gets towed for parking illegally for not having up-to-date registration or on operable vehicle or parking in a visitor spot. I've had other issues we've been able to work some out but I think this last time this was unacceptable considering I was verbally told something else by management

I have been living here for a little over two years and my lease expires soon, like everyone else I am looking for the best deals! As I curiously asked around for prices i can honestly say i am definitely renewing, rents are much more affordable here and even though it is not Beverly Hills i am very pleased with the office staff, specially the young lady who always goes out of her way to make a resident content, and how quick their maintenance is. After reading such awful reviews i just had to leave my opinion of my own personal experience! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!

The parking is horrible. The traffic is terrible to enter and exit the apartment complex, and I suggested to management to ask about having an exit on Kirkwood than having one way to leave the property. Management response, "It's too much crime, and it would be a problem." That response was an excuse because residents must have Renter's Insurance and maintain the insurance throughout the leasing contract. Keep in mind as a prospect tenant/resident if there is an accident in front of the apartments, you can not exit. The exit gate damaged my vehicle in 2015, and I refuse to get my car repaired because I am a current resident. After living here for over a year, I did not receive an offer for carpet cleaning. I plan to give my 30-day notice this year because I've had enough. There is only a pool and grill for outdoor activities. No gym, playground or Business Center to enjoy. The market rate should be so much lower. Considering these 152 units were built in 1982, and currently, there are no significant upgrades. As a new resident, expect new carpet, unleveled granite counter tops, maybe new kitchen appliances, and half painted indoor walls in every room. Also, I hope your patio blinds operate correctly. Tenants can make payments online for rent, but you must pay your full invoice on the 1st of the month. The invoice includes rent, gas, water, trash, pest control, and a service fee. According to the lease agreement, residents have until the 3rd day of the month to pay rent. So if you wish to go online and pay only your rent by the 3rd day, it is impossible to do. In fact, you will need to pay rent in the previous month to pay the utilities at a later day. If you decide to pay only the rent online before, the 1st of the month, be prepared to tell the Leasing Office to remove the $50 charge for late fees. There is only a 5% late fee to accrue on utilities. The online payment system forces you to pay the full invoice on the 1st of the month. A lot of tenants are not aware that they are not required to pay the full invoice by the 1st of the month. Tenants have 15-16 days to pay the utilities to the Leasing Office.

Overall had a good experience here. Management is quick to respond to any issues you have and maintenance is also done quickly. Parking for residents is never an issue as there are plenty of available spots. Visitor parking also has a decent amount and has never been a major issue for my visitors. Also found it to be among the more affordable places in the area. My only issue has been one particular noisy neighbor.

Great maintenance and a great staff turns these mature apartments into a gem. Maintenance is quick (once at 2am!) and thorough.

HORRIBLE!!!! I had to leave because I was extremely sick from the roaches! Not only was the apartments neglected, they are dangerous!! I had to get a window replace from a bullet that flew through it! Now they are trying to sue me for 2000$ that is completely false!

Convenient location near grocery stores, good schools, shopping and major freeway. Professional staff and quick prompt service provided. I'm considering a one bedroom and it is spacious and very affordable compared to the other apartments in the area! It is not a unsafe apartment I have a friend living there now.

Here at this apartment you are required to pay water, trash, pest control and gas. First of all, the water changes temperature cycles, and there is always a problem with their pipes. Currently, I reside here, and there have been two busted pipes reported. The first time occurred during the summer 2015 and another just at the beginning of December 2015. I have cracks in the wall as if I experienced an earthquake, but it was only Texas heat. There is a foundation problem, and a contractor needs to come. Before, I moved in the unit was not ready and to this day it sill is not. I asked them to replace my front entry door knob because you could bump lock using any key in the keyhole and enter the unit. I couldn't take a shower after moving things in here because the shower knob would not pull out. Later, to realize the knob just turns 360 degrees so, you must have the patience to distinguish which position to determine the hot water versus cold. Everyone knows in the U.S. that the left is hot and right is cold but in my case I have this metal extension with a shower knob covering. When, I turn the shower knob off you can hear the water leaking in the ceiling. I'm just waiting until the ceiling falls because then if it falls on my children. Adara Living will pay up in court. I have reported this to the Leasing Office and with one maintenance worker things just don't get done around here.

This is by far the worse apartment anyone could live in. First week of moving in, early morning I was leaving, only to notice my tire had been slashed. You are not safe living here. There is something about this place that doesn't feel right. I've had my car broken into, twice and things were broken in my car. Almost every single car here I noticed have had their tires slashed. The management does not know what they are doing. They are never in the office. Moral of this review, DO NOT BOTHER TO LEASE HERE.
