I'm glad to know that because Linda gave my husband and I the run around for two weeks. Our move In date was suppose to be 8/8/12 an which we turn on the power and everything but our things still remains on a uhaul truck. I spoke with Sophia, on yesterday because Linda was off she said that they still have two shampoo the carpet and that it will take couple of hours to dry. Will be going pick up all money we have paid and call request for the lights to be turn off. I figure I was some shady ---- with them bchxx's in that office. I'm just gald we didn't make that mistake an move in. Lol!

They are Separating the Original Leasing Office in the Back & moving it to the Front for (New Leasing Only) so that the (New) Potential Tenants do not (See) or (Hear) the current Tenants getting denial of Maintenance Request, Rude Service, & Denial of Lease Renewals No 1 year Leases? Google this Place history. DO NOT!,I REPEAT DO NOT MOVE HERE!! I am currently a tenant here at The Mills 6 month lease. I was truthful when rating this review I hope it gets a -5 stars. I moved in from out of state. I have 7 years perfect rental history they said no deposit, then come to find out after talking to my old Landlord they never called him to verify & wanted $500 deposit.Found this place on Rent.com. I read old reviews & called & asked to see if the bad reviews of the last Manager was still employed here the Bank has a new Receiver. The Staff & manager starts with the letter (S....A) are (ALL BAD!).. I pay my rent on time never been late. I am a single parent Father of a 5yr old daughter, I keep to myself & there has been Multiple Rapes, Burglaries & robberies here Google It if you think Im fibbing. They Hired a New Security Company & One Security guard name start with the letter (A....I) who is the daytime Supervisor I personally have caught him on Video tape drinking Alcohol they took a Blind Eye & are now trying to get Rid of me. Also they are Evicting tenants that put in too many Maintenance Request. Now Myself & 5 other tenants that I know of, have FAKE alleged Suspicious activity in & out of Apartment's which turned into 3 Violations of violating my Lease!!?? WTF I signed another Lease before the (60 DAY Notice to move) Now they gave me a letter saying that they were not going to Honor it. It starts in Sept 2012 I went & seen a Lawyer he said they Can Not do that.. Ill keep you updated My new Lease does not expire until Feb 2013. I went & asked them for a copy of my new lease they said the thew it away because it was not Valid..( WAIT UNTILL I SHOW THE JUDGE MY COPY, I KEEP COPY'S OF everything & you should too!! BUT WAIT!! THE OFFICE DOES NOT GIVE YOU A HAND WRITTEN OR COMPUTER GENERATED RECEIPT. THEY MAKE A COPY OF YOUR MONEY ORDER AND PUT INITIALS ON IT!!? I SCRATCHED MY HEAD THE FIRST TIME I PAID MY RENT THAT WAS MY FIRST WARNING SIGN.. READ THE COMMENTS & OTHER REVIEWS UNDER MINE ABOUT THE GUY WHO PAID HIS RENT ON TIME & HAD $900 ON HIS CREDIT REPORT THAT HE OWED MONEY..

The 19-year-old was the first of three women sexually assaulted by a violent predator. On Tuesday, Houston Police issued a plea to the public hoping to track him down. It s believed the man used an accomplice at The Mills Apartments to keep a lookout while the sexual assaults were happening. Nelson, of Fort Bend County, says his daughter had just moved into that complex with her fianc three days before this happened. I don t want another father, brother, uncle, dad, being in this position, Nelson explained. The 19-year-old was headed to her car to get a case of water on May 20 when she was ambushed. Nelson said she was held at gunpoint and taken to a nearby vacant apartment. That s when he said she was sexually assaulted and robbed of her ID and cash. He said he tried to notify the complex and was heartbroken to learn that two more sexual assaults occurred on the property. Let s protect these people that are living there, and nothing happens. (It) makes you upset that nothing changed over the course of 21 days, Nelson said. KHOU left a voicemail with management at the Mills Apartments on Tuesday night. It s unclear if security measures have been beefed up since Nelson s daughter was attacked there. The complex did let her out of her lease, and she is back with family in Fort Bend County.

I leaved here from sep 2010 to sep 2011 apt # 2113. Since all that time i had being reporting of my apartment being water leaking from top in the bath room and the crochet, low water pressure in the kitchen sink and gabbage disposal not working. Nothing was done. I used to pay my rent in time and i never failed to pay even a single month. I gave them a two month notice and by the end of the leese i left the premises that was 10/1/2011. On 10/2/2012 i noted i forgot an envelop with my inportant ducuments and some power safing bulbs, so i went in the office where i ask for the key so that i can take them but they refused telling me that they threw away averything they found there. To make the matter worse they put me into debt collector without notifing me that i ow them $ 940.68 (not true since i have all edidence that no month i failed to pay the rent) When i called them them they told me i left the premises on 10/31/2011 which is not true and i have enough evidence and witnesses

THANK GOD MY LEASE IS ALMOST UP! THESE ARE THE WORST APARTMENTS EVER. THEY ARE INFESTED WITH ROACHES AND I HAD PROBLEMS WITH BED BUGS A COUPLE TIMES. THEY HAD TO PUT SECURITY CAMERAS OUTSIDE CAUSE THE CRIME IS SO BAD BUT THEY DONT STOP PEOPLE ANYWAYS. THE PEOPLE IN THE OFFICE ARE ALWAYS RUDE. I'VE HAD A LEAK IN MY APARTMENT FOR THE PAST YEAR AND THEY NEVER FIXED IT. THE WALLS ARE PAPER THIN SO YOU CAN HEAR VERYTHING NEXT DOOR.

I will not remend this property even to my worst enemy.The maintenance is absolutely none existence.There is no respect from the management. Unwanted people parabulating ,being attack walking from your car to your apartment at night,prostitutes bordering people.

I lived in the apartments for April 07 until March 2011... Where do i start my daughter had to have her tonsils removed at 3 bc of mildew and mold... I had to sit in a house with no ac for days bc the ownder refused to release funds to replace ac unit did i mention i was 9 mnths pregnant... oh how could i forget the bed bug situation where i payed ppl to come out and get rid of them twice only to find out that they kept coming back bc my neighbor werent made aware of situation so they never got rid of theres therefore they kept traveling bck down to my apt... no refund no offer to pay fees... management falsify documents lie and are just sorry

Where can I start? First, I had been living there for 3 months when I realized my apartment was in a different person's name. I went to the office to ask about it and they didn't have my lease, my application, or the copies of my TXDL, SS card, and check stubs that I had giving them. Then, I complained for MONTHS (October until last week) that my refrigerator, garbage disposal, dishwasher, kitchen light, and AC didn't work and that a leak in my ceiling often caused flooding in my bathroom. It wasn't until I opened a case with the Houston Apartment Association that anything was fixed. (And only the refrigerator and garbage disposal have been repaired. Still waiting on the AC to be fixed.) I absolutely can not wait until I can leave this property and I wouldn't recommend it to ANYONE.

I have never felt welcome not even in the nicest places I have resided before. The staff at the Mills made me feel welcome and right at home. I defently recommend this place to all my friends and family.
