Hello apartment seekers! I recently moved back to Virage Apartments after having previously lived here in 2018. At that time, the property and management team were absolutely amazing—which is honestly a big part of why I decided to return. So far, I’m giving this experience a fair and balanced review and will continue to share updates as I settle back in. Within my first 30 days, I did have to submit several work orders. The good news is that those issues were addressed in a timely manner, which I do appreciate. That said, while this property may not be the newest community in the area, that should not be a major issue if the units are properly maintained, thoroughly turned, cleaned, sanitized, and refreshed between residents. For many renters, that level of readiness and care matters just as much—if not more—than whether a property is brand new. I’m hopeful that my return experience will continue in a positive direction, and I plan to come back and provide another update in the next 30 days. Stay tuned.

I recently visited my friend's apartment community, and I was absolutely impressed by everything! The amenities, like the fitness center and pool area, looked top-notch—perfect for relaxing or staying active. The apartment itself was spacious and modern. The staff I interacted with were friendly and professional, making the whole experience even better. It’s no surprise that my friend loves living here. I am in the process of selling and considering moving here, perfect location! Highly recommend!

If i could give this place no stars I would. Wish i would have read these first! Do yourself a favor and run as fast as you can. Not only does this complex not respond to issues it is filthy inside. The hallways smell like pee, they have dumpsters that are in the entrance that stink nonstop. When i moved out and turned in my notice, they ended up going with the date the roommate give - not mine - as we each had to sign a separate lease. Then i was told they don't go by separate leases although we each had to sign one. I showed back up to my apartment and was locked out. And besides that, they left the doors unlocked and half of my things were stolen, and they did not even care. THIS APARTMENT COMPLEX SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN!!!! When i went in to complain i saw 2 other people in there complaining as well. Lesson learned to read reviews moving forward. Nobody should ever move here. Worse decision I ever made! RUN FOR THE HILLS PEOPLE!!!! You will thank me for the advice!

Upstairs neighbor wakes me up every morning at 5am. You can hear the dumpster truck every Monday 4am. Maintenance request doesn’t get resolved in a timely manner. The issue with my oven has still not been resolved. It’s been two weeks.

Move ins and moves outs make money but long term residents make a community in my honest opinion. This property could be a diamond in the rough but currently management and property staff make it more rough. The basic property is nice but the day to day operations make it less than favorable. If visiting this property for a walk through make sure you visit the waste infected dog park and check out the garbage rooms/trash chutes... that will be your 24/7... not the lobby or community room that requires a hefty payment and cleaning of the public toilets if you plan to use for family events and celebrations.

The worst property I've ever lived at—that includes 7 different complexes in Houston. I would never renew my lease at this place. Management is incompetent—almost to a certain degree that their deficiencies seem intentional. If it wasn't for the location, I would have broken the lease early and paid the penalty.

As a resident of over 6 years, I have loved living at the Virage! As a dog owner, it is very important to feel safe at any time of day or night to walk the dog in the areas provided by the apartment complex for pets. I also love the location of the Virage, as it makes for a very convenient commute to work, and is close to downtown, the Heights, and the Galleria area as well!

This has been the worst move in experience I’ve ever had. From miscommunication throughout the leasing process to attitude from the leasing staff, awful. We’ve also had things that need attention in our apartment for going on 2 weeks now with no maintenance solution and there’s always excuses. Best thing about this apartment is the location and look. Awful otherwise lol

I like Virage overall yet there is room for improvements and they should be made. Also price shall lowered for the unnecessary services that are not really needed (for example the trash valet). Thank you for considering my input.
