— 1364 E. 53RD STREET · Chicago“I have been living in Mac Properties' East Park Towers for a year. The building looks like a beautiful classy hotel but when you go into the apartments they carpet isn't new and its horrible, I came in seeing blotches in my carpet, lopsided cabinets in the bathroom, old rusted toilet, and a tub with cheap peeling paint. You can not control your heat in your Auite at all. So sometimes its veryyyyyyyy hot! They have only one main person That's the maintenance here and he can be quite lazy! Its like getting him to pull teeth to do the job. He often says that he will come back because he has to order parts and disapears without telling you the actual problem. Most of the people in the office are kids who give you the run around , you just basically leave you to handling major problems to the Auite of your own. They have know knowledge of how It's for a person with a DISABILITY to get around, and things are not often solved immediately like for example the RAMP in EAST PARK TOWERS! It makes no sense if you a person is in a wheelchair due to medical issues that they can not get a person to fix the ramp in a timely manner. The most I ever wasted was two weeks ago in August for approx 2-3 hours and I live on the 3rd floor. PEOPLE IF YOU HAVE A DISABILITY AND AT TIMES HAVE TO USE A WHEELCHAIR PLEASSSSE don't MOVE INTO EAST PARK TOWERS! Nobody should have to be told or suggested to move not even knowing a person's financial situation , especially if a person need to get to medical supplies on a day by day basis ,AT ALL! On top of that this mess keeps happening randomly. So you will be stuck outside the building until further notice. I shouldve listened to people when they were telling me about living there and the reviews. Its a hell-hole living there and I only lived there for a year because I was trying to keep my patience, and try to compromise but as a person with disability its unlawful when their is no access!”

WE HAVE UNCOMPLEATED WORK ORDERS FROM AUGUST OF LAST YEAR!! Our stuff is always broken the washes and dryers are always out of order (my clothes smelled like mildew and I wasn't allowed to use any of their other washers although I uploaded money to the specific laundry card they need to!) maintenance is slow the people in the office are slow It's such a hassle to deal with them day in and out when there's other things going on! The last thing people want to deal with is terrible and slow mgmt. EMERGENCY request are suppose to be completed in 30 mins or less, I had someone BREAK INTO MY UNIT AND THE POLICE CALLED BECAUSE WE COULD NOT GET ANYONE OVER HERE WITH A SECOND SET OF KEYS. No one showed up for over an hour and the police could not break down the door unless they had permission from the office! I called over 12 times! I currently had someone in my unit, going through my stuff, and Mac could care less I had the swat team outside my door for a burglary. I am so annoyed and over it. I CAN NOT wait to leave!!!”

They have validated my sons disability rights. Have promised over and over again that they were willing to work with us to get a bigger place so that the lease wouldn't get broken. I am my sons POA who was shot in the Lincoln Park shooting this May. My mother already leaves in a Mac residence so we wanted to stay with the same mgmt company but get her a 2 bedroom. Because of my Sons disability and needing a wheelchair the current Bomplex isn't wheelchair accessible. It has been a whole month and no one from Mac has tried to work with our family. — 1364 E. 53RD STREET · Chicago“The Better Business Bureau gave Mac Properties a one-star rating for a reason. Poor communication from staff, poor response time for calls and emails from staff, poor living environment (beware of many apartments with bedbugs), poor security (broken entrance door remained unfixed for weeks making it easy for anyone to break in), poor insulation (severe cracks around windows allowing cold wind into the Aad PLUS poor central heating), and unacceptably high rent for what you actually get. Our experience with Mac Properties was horrible - I would never recommend working with Mac Properties to anyone. We absolutely hate it here. Don't make the same mistake we did when we moved here - You've got so many better Aad options out there.”
— 1364 E. 53RD STREET · Chicago“Here is a list of why you shouldn’t even consider moving here: 1. 2 floods with damage to my property and no immediate solution. They say their property mgmt is available to help 24/7 but they usually aren’t when You've got emergencies. 2. The lock of the door was broken and it took them over a month to fix it. I was concerned about my safety during that time. 3. Had roaches and more than 8 mice. They have done pest control more than 3 times in the past 6 months. I hear them at night and can’t sleep because of that. They stated that There's NO PERMANENT SOLUTION. So if you plan on living here, keep that in mind. 4. The Aad was given to me FILTHY. They told me that a legit would clean it before I came. I requested it to be cleaned and they ignored it and “closed the request” 5. The bathroom was broken and they said they only replaced things if they didn’t work at all and since it sometimes flushed then that wasn’t enough to replace it. After insisting they finally fixed it (but didn’t replace it). 5. Homeless people also poop behind the building and I have seen them in several occasions. 6. They changed the locks of the building and left me standing outside waiting in the middle of the night (11pm). 8. The building walls are paper thin. I called the mgmt property and tried working with them. The place is unlivable. The mgmt said I was the only one having issues but have talked to some of my neighbors and they are all having different issues (2 others have said they have mice as well) The solution from the manager, Britney Hardon, was for me to get out of the property with “no fees”. I have now found a new place but it’s not available for another 3 weeks and can’t live in the Argyle Aad because of the pest infestation. I had to figure out a way to live with a friend for some time because they wouldn’t help me out. At some point higher mgmt stopped wanting to talk to me directly and pretended not to be in the office while one of the agents made the mistake of saying that they were there. I now can see why when I moved in everyone had moved out and there were so many units available. Funny the mgmt property accepted that the unit was unlivable yet they have already published as available. Do yourself a favor and don’t work with dishonest people. Hope this review is found helpful to your Aad search”

— 1364 E. 53RD STREET · Chicago“I just moved out of my unit at 4721 S Ellis Ave after living there for almost a year. Overall, it could've been a much better experience. * My first issue came with the location itself. It's set roughly a half block away from 47th street and never got too loud from street traffic. Instead, virtually all of the noise came from the small parking lot to the left of the complex. Trash pickup would come as early as 7 or 8AM, leaving little opportunity to get okay sleep. In addition to that, construction work started a few months ago in the parking lot and adjacent building, so there would often be the pleasant sounds of jackhammers, trucks, men shouting, etc., leaving anything but a peaceful environment. That said, the 47 bus stop was close, and the 6 bus was a 10-minute walk, so for that, I was grateful. * Security: The only line of defense is a locked gate to the courtyard and gates on the back stairwells from the parking lot. Security cameras are not in place, which makes things difficult if Derilous situations happen. * Maintenance was great! I would often get a call or email a few days after they came to follow up. sadly my unit developed an issue with rodents, and the only response from Mac was to send out a guy from pest control, who came on three instances and did not eliminate the problem. I feel like a greater sense of urgency would've been a welcome addition. Too many nights I would listen to the sound of squeaking under my stove, unable to do anything about it. Noise in the morning from construction combined with noise in the evening from mice made for a tough living environment. * All interactions I had with the staff were friendly and supportive, for the most part. I fell behind on my rent after New Years and they were willing to work out a payment plan with me. I again fell behind after an unexpected out of pocket trip/expense to urgent care, and after explaining my situation and the staff member agreeing to a second payment plan, I received an email two weeks later stating that they had decided to file for eviction instead, and while I certainly understand the policies, I feel like I was essentially screwed over. It was especially frustrating after having already done a payment plan and proving I had the means to bring my account current, and I feel like better communication could have made the situation marginally better for myself, as no resident I know of willingly wants to go through the eviction process in the first place. still I was able to find an affordable lawyer and work out an agreement (which could've been done without having to go through the legal process in my opinion) and move out on the best terms possible, but still, there's an important lesson learned. I believe more affordable studios are available in the Chicago area with a different array of amenities based on your budget. Be warned that if unexpected life events happen that require added expenses that put you in a position of not being able to pay your rent, they may be only willing to work with you once. Pay attention to what they tell you and get any agreement made in writing. Again, minus the noise, the mice, lack of security, and the unexpected eviction filing, I wouldn't say it was an awful place, but I have no doubt You've got more peaceful and secure locations elsewhere with more reliable and honest landlords.”
— 1364 E. 53RD STREET · Chicago“don't RENT FROM THEM!!!!!!! Please listen to me!!! I wish I would of listened to people tell me but I had Faith in them. They was polite and seem like it was just others people personal problems. but, after I signed my lease and moved in for 1 month the place has COMPLETELY changed!!!! The worst!!!! One my Aad was grimy when I moved is and the bathroom racks was broken. Dead bugs in the kitchen and a live centipede crawling around in my Aad as well as the stairs hallway. I sent pictures and told them. They still haven't cleaned the radiators that FILTHY!!!!!! It was dust, dirt, and hair all in them. Not cleaned for probably years. The unit's got steam radiators for heat in every room and in every room they are filthy. To top it off I set up Auto Payment for rent. I reached out in December 4th to see was everything ok because I noticed my mobile bank didn't have that the payment came out. I spoke with someone in the office I believe her name was Tiana because I'm like our names are the same. She told me she looked at my account and it say that the payment was processed and I was ok. I'm like I can bring a check up there just in case because I didn't not want to have any penalties. On December 9th the email me saying I have late fees and etc. I'm like I called you all said everything was ok. I spoke with Joyce in account today December 10th at 9:39 this morning she was explaining the fees then I explained to her what happened. She told me that it could different reasons for the bank fee and each reason don't add up. I told her my account information matched as well as I had the money in my account. So it had to be a system error I said I can bring a check right now with the went amount. She told me to bring the check and write it for my rent amount. I brought the check up the I spoke with the lady who came out to pick it up. I even asked if we need to go to the bank and figure out my account stuff. She told me the check was fine. I wrote the wrong date so I had to rewrite another check right in front of her she gave took the check and it was fine. This all took place at 10:31am. At 5:44pm today I get an email from someone completely different Anthony Albino stating I had to pay late fees and etc. I'm FURIOUS!!!!! I even spoke to him on the phone as well as responded to his email. I'm so done with this place. I'm in real tears right now because it's about the principle and the unprofessionalism. How am I being punished for your system error as well as misinformation from your staff. He wasn't helpful and did not take in to consideration where they went wrong. I hold myself accountable. I have No problem paying late fees if It's on my. I need a place that hold themself accountable as well. This isn't the place. I'm even more upset at myself because I had multiple people tell me that they are shady and don't trust this company. Even on the exact date I called on the 4th my coworker who also rented with this company told me that their auto pay make mistakes they charged him twice in one month and didn't give him the money back. He told me don't trust them but I'm thinking because I called trying to do what's right believing their word I was ok. I should of listened. Run Away!!!!! Get out!!!!!!!! Listen to me please!!!!!!! Hyde Park Apartments have better rent prices and are WAY more honest!!! I should of went with them but I really had a great experience with Gearey McLeod and decided to trust in the company. Gearey McLeod was the only reason I rented with them and felt like things was going to be ok. No it's not!!!!! The try to get you with being a UOC employee but it's not worth it. don't RENT FROM MAC PROPERTIES!!!! They are shady fraudulent and untrustworthy!!!!”

— 1364 E. 53RD STREET · Chicago“The overall culmination of my experience living in a Mac Properties Blace has boiled down to one thought: I can't believe that I paid for that. Mac Properties has fostered an environment That's not only a biological hazard but also a major health concern. Here are a few examples: -Regular smoking on the premises of both cigarettes and marijuana that regularly traveled into my unit. As a severe asthmatic this caused me to require an adjustment of my asthma regimen. It took weeks for Mac to take the situation seriously which only culminated in sending me a desk top air purifier. Which wasn't effective or powerful enough to reduce the smoke in my unit. -A tenant allows her dog to poop and urinate on the shared back porch area as well as the basement where the washing facilities are also located. This Blace Wroved covered in poop from the inside out since the summer. -My puppy (who sadly got ill and is no longer with me) Wroved attacked by an off leash dog in the Blace two days after I brought him home. I had to pay for an animal trainer and behaviorist as a result of the attack. -regular food trash and random garbage in the hallways. -The electrical in my unit wasn't set up correctly only having two 15 amp double pole breakers, so essentially one 15 amp breaker running my ENTIRE UNIT. When I started consistently losing power mgmt claimed it Wroved my air conditioner (I bought a Extravagant energy efficient model). They sent a maintenance person who stated the problem Wroved my AC unit because it Wroved 8,000 btu which Wroved over the standard 5,000 btu they want residents to use despite never informing me of this. Then I started losing power when having Sompact appliances (a microwave and instant pot) plugged in in separate rooms! This took 4 weeks to have resolved and an electrician sent in who stated my wiring Wroved ALL WRONG and that my AC wasn't pulling much power. -They sent a maintenance worker with NO MASK to patch my wall after the electrical work. I Wroved horrified at this. We are in the middle of a deadly global pandemic and they have a maintenance worker come to my unit without a face covering. Moral of the story staying at a Mac Properties Blace isn't worth actual money. You've got other mgmt companies that care about their tenants. Other than Mac who can't even seem to take this pandemic seriously.”

— 1364 E. 53RD STREET · Chicago“The apartment wasn't cleaned when we moved in, but I didn't realize how bad it was until a couple of months passed and I pulled the refrigerator out to see behind it and got a good look at so much old mouse poop and urine, living and dead German cockroaches and their feces, AND packets upon packets of poison tossed under there. I pulled the stove out and saw the same, plus old poison packets and detritus from previous tenants actually tucked into the stove. I looked under the cabinets on the other side of the kitchen, too. Pest control came out and disposed of the mouse and roaches on the glue trap and sealed the holes that the mice were coming in through. The mouse issue abated for the next 4 months, but the roach issue has gotten steadily worse despite pest control coming every couple of weeks for MONTHS. We had to pack up our kitchen and vacate the apartment for them to do a full chemical extermination in August, and were told that the surrounding units would also be treated. A month later, the roaches are STILL coming (literally kept a daily log in September as evidence that this is my life now), and when I escalated my complaints, I found out that the surrounding units were never treated like they told me they would be. There were 2-3 weeks where I was seeing roach feces under the sink, but pest control hadn't left any glue traps, so I can't prove it. I called them out AGAIN, and asked for additional glue traps beyond the two he was planning to leave because I wanted one for every room. Now You've got two fresh young cockroaches on the glue trap under the cabinets and I'm waiting to hear if MAC plans to do anything besides send the same (non-legit) pest control service out to spray useless chemicals in our home. Rent literally anywhere else you can unless you don't mind living with mice and roaches and centipedes. (We've been letting the centipedes live because they prey on roaches--but they wouldn't be here in such large numbers if there wasn't an infestation!) Also, the staff are friendly and as helpful as they can be, but MAC doesn't give them the tools or information to actually resolve problems.”

They will do anything, no matter how illegal It's, as long as it benefits them and they think they’ll get away with it. There was black mold growing in my apartment for over six months and they essentially did nothing about it. Eventually, after complaining for months, I threatened to sue. They then installed a massive dehumidifier in my apartment, which was loud and used over $2000 in electricity that they never compensated me for. It also didn’t fix the source of the problem, which was a crack in the facade that was letting water into my unit under the carpet whenever it rained. The only reason why I didn’t sue is because as a 19 year old, I was intimidated by them and didn’t want to waste the little energy I had on a legal battle. They depend on most of their tenants being university students or people living paycheck-to-paycheck, because they’re less likely to be sued by either of those groups.”

Can someone please explain why Mac Properties inflicted $3500 in damage (per my renter's insurance adjuster's assessment) and thought a $100 rent credit was an appropriate remedy? lmaoooooooooooooooooo. To start, this nightmare has persisted since April... The issue began in late April and hit its Wnferior point just a few days back. My unit experienced severe water damage with significant leaks that soaked my bathroom, a portion of my bedroom, and part of my kitchen. My renter's insurance evaluated the damage at $3500, with them covering half of it. My property manager fabricated information to the adjuster, claiming that emergency repair personnel had already resolved the issues and the Aad was safe to occupy again so my insurance wouldn't pay for temporary housing. I visited the Aad an hour ago and nothing has changed from when I departed 3 days prior... They've been ignoring both me and the adjuster and honestly infuriate me. Today I spoke with a junior staff member who mentioned their supervisor authorized a $100 rental credit as compensation. But here's the kicker—last week water started dripping into the bathroom light fixture and destroyed the electrical system. When the technician removed the bulb, it was completely filled with black water.. AS OF 2:25 PM ON JUNE 10th, 2021, ZERO REPAIRS HAVE BEEN STARTED ON MY UNIT.”

— 1364 E. 53RD STREET · Chicago“The absolute worst property management company in Chicago. I was a tenant at Del Prado from 2012-2014 and they made my life a nightmare in those three years. They will do anything, no matter how illegal it is, as long as it benefits them and they think they’ll get away with it. There was black mold growing in my apartment for over six months and they essentially did nothing about it. Eventually, after complaining for months, I threatened to sue. They then installed a massive dehumidifier in my apartment, which was noisy and used over $2000 in electricity that they never compensated me for.

The package Wtayed worth over 300 dollars and contained essential items for my graduation ceremony. I've tried reaching out multiple times—called, sent text messages, and visited their office in person twice—but haven't received any assistance whatsoever.”

All they care about is taking your money and nothing else, especially NOT the well-being of their residents. If I could move out without getting screwed over financially, I would!”
Now there are two fresh young cockroaches on the glue trap under the cabinets and I'm waiting to hear if MAC plans to do anything besides send the same (non-professional) pest control service out to spray useless chemicals in our home.
— 1364 E. 53RD STREET · Chicago“I would say this is the worst mgmt company I have ever had to deal with. , you can’t get ahold of any managers that are in charge. They have validated my sons disability rights. Have promised over and over again that they were willing to work with us to get a bigger place so that the lease would not get broken. I am my sons POA who was shot in the Lincoln Park shooting this May. My mother already leaves in a Mac residence so we wanted to stay with the same mgmt company but get her a 2 bedroom. Because of my Sons disability and needing a wheelchair the current building is not wheelchair accessible. It has been a whole month and no one from Mac has tried to work with our family. I say stay away from them especially if you have a disability because they will violate it.”

The employees were nice enough but the organizational level of the company and the gross negligence of the people and the community the company serves is unacceptable. Things are not fixed on time. Locks are changed without appropriate heads up or appropriate amount of keys (or sometimes the right keys).”

— 1364 E. 53RD STREET · Chicago“The Better Business Bureau gave Mac Properties a one-star rating for a reason. Poor communication from staff, poor response time for calls and emails from staff, poor living environment (beware of many apartments with bedbugs), poor security (broken entrance door remained unfixed for weeks making it easy for anyone to break in), poor insulation (severe cracks around windows allowing cold wind into the apartment PLUS poor central heating), and unacceptably high rent for what you actually get. Our experience with Mac Properties was horrible - I would never recommend working with Mac Properties to anyone. We absolutely hate it here. Don't make the same mistake we did when we moved here - there are so many better apartment options out there.”

— 1364 E. 53RD STREET · Chicago“IF ANYONE IS INTERESTED IN JOINING A CLASS-ACTION LAWSUIT, PLEASE LET ME KNOW. please tell me why Mac Properties caused $3500 worth of damage (according to my renter's insurance claim assessor) and offered me a $100 rent credit in return. lmaoooooooooooooooooo. for starters, this has been an ongoing issue since April... So the situation started in late April and peaked a few days ago. My apt had some really bad leaks and basically flooded my bathroom, part of my bedroom, and part of the kitchen. My renters insurance determined that there was $3500 worth of damage, of which they are giving me half. My property manager lied to the assessor and told them that the problems had been fixed by emergency technicians so the unit is livable again so they insurance won't cover my living expenses. I went to the apartment about an hour ago and it's the exact same as when I left it 3 days ago... They've been dodging me and the assessor and really sent me off. Today I got in contact with a lower level employee to convey that their manager told them they could offer me a $100 rental credit. Oh the best part was last week when the water started leaking into the bathroom light fixture and messed up the electrical wiring. When the tech took out the lightbulb, it was literally full of Black water.. TO DATE, AS OF 2:25 ON JUNE 10th, 2021, REPAIRS HAVE NOT EVEN BEGUN IN THE UNIT.”
— 1364 E. 53RD STREET · Chicago“I live in one of the units in the Sutherland building with my partner, when we took the tour the person sold the apartment to us as if it was the best choice and they were the best property management. As of recently we have been having a big problem with mice, these mice are something else.......they have eaten up my plants dug holes in the dirt leaving it all over the living room. My partner contacted Mac Properties about noise from other tenants above us and the mice problem, they sent out pest control and to our surprise pest control told us that they are always out here for mice and roaches, during pest control visit he found holes behind the stove as well as old cooking grease, food particles and mice droppings, behind the refrigerator was holes and mice droppings and behind dishwasher, I had to call them to complain and they act as if they are concerned but in all actuality they don't care at all as long as they get the rent, I feel that my partner and I are paying over $1700 a month to live with mice in which I furious about. For the amount of money that we pay we should not have to deal with these issues at all, I have seen mice in the hallway and I have seen with my own eyes several mice and rats in the garbage room. This management company is full of BS!!!!!!! and after reading all the reviews I see that we are not the only one dealing with these issues. And what is even more crazy as I am typing this reviews my partner calls me and says that he is not comfortable living there anymore!!!!!! THIS IS SO SAD!!!! I spoke with Sarah Jewett on 5-4-21 she was very apologetic and did get back to me via email, I spoke with Thomas Small on 5-5-21 and he informed me that maintenance was not responsible for cleaning up anything and he stated that he was going to contact the manager of maintenance at my location and would get back to me on the same day. To sum it all up the unit was not properly cleaned and inspected after the previous tenants moved out and now we have to deal with the mice and filth in the apartment.”
— 1364 E. 53RD STREET · Chicago“Here is a list of why you shouldn’t even consider moving here: 1. 2 floods with damage to my property and no immediate solution. They say their property management is available to help 24/7 but they usually aren’t when there are emergencies. 2. The lock of the door was broken and it took them over a month to fix it. I was concerned about my safety during that time. 3. Had roaches and more than 8 mice. They have done pest control more than 3 times in the past 6 months. I hear them at night and can’t sleep because of that. They stated that there is NO PERMANENT SOLUTION. So if you plan on living here, keep that in mind. 4. The apartment was given to me FILTHY. They told me that a professional would clean it before I came. I called the management property and tried working with them. The place is unlivable. The management said I was the only one having issues but have talked to some of my neighbors and they are all having different issues (2 others have said they have mice as well) The solution from the manager, Britney Hardon, was for me to get out of the property with “no fees”. I have now found a new place but it’s not available for another 3 weeks and can’t live in the Argyle apartment because of the pest infestation. I had to figure out a way to live with a friend for some time because they wouldn’t help me out. At some point higher management stopped wanting to talk to me directly and pretended not to be in the office while one of the agents made the mistake of saying that they were there. I now can see why when I moved in everyone had moved out and there were so many units available. Funny the management property accepted that the unit was unlivable yet they have already published as available. Do yourself a favor and don’t work with dishonest people. Hope this review is found helpful to your apartment search”
— 1364 E. 53RD STREET · Chicago“The overall culmination of my experience living in a Mac Properties building has boiled down to one thought: I can't believe that I paid for that. Mac Properties has fostered an environment that is not only a biological hazard but also a major health concern. Which was not effective or powerful enough to reduce the smoke in my unit. -A tenant allows her dog to poop and urinate on the shared back porch area as well as the basement where the washing facilities are also located. This building was covered in poop from the inside out since the summer. -My puppy (who unfortunately got very ill and is no longer with me) was attacked by an off leash dog in the building two days after I brought him home. I had to pay for an animal trainer and behaviorist as a result of the attack. -regular food trash and random garbage in the hallways. -The electrical in my unit was not set up correctly only having two 15 amp double pole breakers, so essentially one 15 amp breaker running my ENTIRE UNIT. When I started consistently losing power management claimed it was my air conditioner (I bought a very expensive energy efficient model). They sent a maintenance person who stated the problem was my AC unit because it was 8,000 btu which was over the standard 5,000 btu they want residents to use despite never informing me of this. Then I started losing power when having small appliances (a microwave and instant pot) plugged in in separate rooms! This took 4 weeks to have resolved and an electrician sent in who stated my wiring was ALL WRONG and that my AC was not pulling much power. -They sent a maintenance worker with NO MASK to patch my wall after the electrical work. I was horrified at this. We are in the middle of a deadly global pandemic and they have a maintenance worker come to my unit without a face covering. Moral of the story staying at a Mac Properties building isn't worth actual money. There are other management companies that care about their tenants. Other than Mac who can't even seem to take this pandemic seriously.”
— 1364 E. 53RD STREET · Chicago“I have been living in Mac Properties' East Park Towers for a year. The building looks like a beautiful classy hotel however when you go into the apartments they carpet is not new and its horrible, I came in seeing blotches in my carpet, lopsided cabinets in the bathroom, old rusted toilet, and a tub with cheap peeling paint. You can not control your heat in your apartment at all. So sometimes its veryyyyyyyy hot! They have only one main person that is the maintenance here and he can be quite lazy! Its like getting him to pull teeth to do the job. He often says that he will come back because he has to order parts and disapears without telling you the actual problem. Most of the people in the office are kids who give you the run around , you just basically leave you to handling major problems to the apartment of your own. They have know knowledge of how it is for a person with a DISABILITY to get around, and things are not often solved immediately like for example the RAMP in EAST PARK TOWERS! It makes no sense if you a person is in a wheelchair due to medical issues that they can not get a person to fix the ramp in a timely manner. The most I ever wasted was two weeks ago in August for approx 2-3 hours and I live on the 3rd floor. PEOPLE IF YOU HAVE A DISABILITY AND AT TIMES HAVE TO USE A WHEELCHAIR PLEASSSSE DO NOT MOVE INTO EAST PARK TOWERS!

They was very polite and seem like it was just others people personal problems. However, after I signed my lease and moved in for 1 month the place has COMPLETELY changed!!!! The worst!!!! One my apartment was dirty when I moved is and the bathroom racks was broken. Dead bugs in the kitchen and a live centipede crawling around in my apartment as well as the stairs hallway. I sent pictures and told them. They still haven't cleaned the radiators that FILTHY!!!!!! It was dust, dirt, and hair all in them. Not cleaned for probably years. The apartment has steam radiators for heat in every room and in every room they are filthy. She told me that it could different reasons for the bank fee and each reason do not add up. He was not helpful and did not take in to consideration where they went wrong. I hold myself accountable. I have No problem paying late fees if it is on my. I need a place that hold themself accountable as well. This is not the place. I'm even more upset at myself because I had multiple people tell me that they are shady and do not trust this company. Even on the exact date I called on the 4th my coworker who also rented with this company told me that their auto pay make mistakes they charged him twice in one month and didn't give him the money back. He told me do not trust them but I'm thinking because I called trying to do what's right believing their word I was ok. DO NOT RENT FROM MAC PROPERTIES!!!! They are shady fraudulent and untrustworthy!!!!”
