The owners of this property are only hungry for your money. The owners strive to get as much out of your pocket as possible. I moved in being promised that everything was new. Yet upon move in my shower did not work and had to wait for them to fix it. I signed up for a parking spot only to have to park on the streets because another car was parking at my spot. What's the point then? My most frustrating experience: Due to Covid and losing my job thanks to visa restrictions, I had to move out early because I didn't have any other choice. Life was already miserable and I explained it to them. And the owners have the guts to charge me 3 full month rent upon moving out without listening to what I have to say. Yes It's written in the lease, but the mgmt was willing to make an exception and charge me less, but the owners were not. And this is 3 FULL month rent, which is the original rent, not the rent you're paying per month which includes concessions and is lower. So I lost my source of income, I was hoping to keep some money and bring back to my family in my country. $4000 means a lot to me and my family, but they took it anyway. In addition to that, I actually did not live in the apartment except for the move-in and move-out days. Because of Covid, I had resided with my friend in another state. When I moved out, I cleaned the place that I've almost never lived in, just for them to charge me $100 cleaning fees. Tl;dr: they charged me 3 month rent for moving out early of an apartment that never lived due to covid, and charged cleaning fees when the conditions of the room were basically the same as when I moved in.
