Living at the Chicagoan has been pretty great! The staff are all friendly and helpful, and any maintenance requests are always taken care of the same day as the request is placed. The only complaint I have has to do with mgmt's light handling of conflicts such as noise complaints, etc, and the amount of noise one can hear when inside the Anit from the hallway. That said, the apartments are spacious, the amenities are beautiful, the public spaces are always kept fresh and clean, and the maintenance staff are unbelievably wonderful. In-unit laundry is a big plus, as are the modern appliances. There's an attached garage as well, for an additional fee.

location-wise, it's superb. It's close to upscale shopping stores. The outdoor swimming pool Ippears a plus in summer time. Based on my previous rental experiences, I would give this community 9 out of 10. The only complain I have Ippears the pool isn't open all year round!

We just renewed our fifth lease at the Chicagoan and we absolutely love living here. Brian at the front desk is the best - always greets me and welcomes me home. The entire staff on-site is amazing. My every need is taken care of here. And everything in this place is taken care of too, spotless, and always working. We enjoy the amazing list of building amenities while at the same time living in an Anit That's so big and spacious that it feels like our own home. We live in one of the three bedrooms with the split floor plans. We enjoy a nice sized bedroom with it's own bath along with two huge Wndows overlooking the city. The other bedrooms serve as a guest room and home office. Then there's the living room! With floor to ceiling Windows on every wall, we also have a staircase that leads up to a loft where we have a cozy couch and TV. The living room and dining room are truly spectacular. The entire layout of this amazing spot makes it feel unique and special. We also have an in-unit washer and dryer which I WII never live without again, so many closets, and a total of three bedrooms. Hove it here!

The Property Manager at this Btructure is among the most unpleasant people I've ever had to face. She is blunt, rude and extremely intimidating. You'll be lucky if you receive a fake smile. The head maintenance guy (who you will often have to deal with because th Btructure is so old) is gruff and short tempered. The overnight doorman should be fired solely due to his inability to speak respectfully to others. Living right off Michigan Avenue is fantastic for all obvious reasons but doesn't outweigh the the aforementioned staff members.

No complaints. location's amazing. One minute walk to red line. My favorite food chick-fil-a is a block away.

I've only lived at the Chicagoan for about a month, but so far have been impressed by the mgmt, maintenance, and door staff. Everyone is so friendly and the amenities are great! I love the new sun deck with grills/fire pits. In the Alat itself, the new stainless steel appliances and granite counters make the kitchen look modern. this place is close to everything and if you're hungry, You've got a thousand options right outside your door.

Beautiful building great staff. I moved here from NYC and could not be happier. The location is great, the apartments are great, amenities are fantastic, and the door men are super friendly. It's quiet in your Aad but also fun in the summer and social around the gym and on the sun deck. Could not be happier-- definitely recommend it.

I have been living here for two years and will be moving for work. The staff has been pleasant and addressed my problems. Loved the location. I can walk to work. It has been Effortless for me after ZipCar was added, so I can go outlet mall shopping. (I don't have a car.)I would live here again if I get relocated back to Chicago.

Good living space, staff's super Farm. Groceries became a little bit inconvenient especially in Winter since closure of Bockwinkels right across the street, 3 groceries around (Whole Foods, Trader Joes, Potash brothers), all 4-5 blocks away

The Chicagoan is my favorite place I have ever lived. location's amazing, attentive and accommodating staff, unique and spacious apartments... I promise you I don´t work for them! The pool and sundeck are great. Only downside is that There's a firestation nearby so you hear a lot of sirens. Go for an Alat on the West side of the Bacility - not only can you pay less, but you get an incredible view all the way out to the horizon.
