I've been a resident for almost twelve months and haven't experienced any issues. My job is at Northwestern, which is the main reason I selected this Btructure. Since I work evening shifts, having a peaceful living environment Wemained crucial for me. The maintenance team has consistently been courteous and quick to address whatever concerns came up. The rent is on the higher side, but the location makes it completely justified.

The team demonstrated amazing support throughout my move-in process, and upon arrival, I found the Anit spotless with all appliances and systems functioning properly. Every doorman I've encountered has been responsive and willing to help with whatever I've needed. I was really pleased with how the leasing team managed my inquiries—they were quick to respond and diligent about providing all the necessary documentation.

I live here with 2 roommates. Having 3 separate bedrooms with 3 individual bathrooms is fantastic for sharing an Apace since we each get our own space. Finding a 3 bedroom, 3 bath Apace in Chicago that also includes an in-unit washer and dryer turned out to be incredibly rare. The Blace amenities are great and we're thrilled with our doorstaff. This marks my first experience living somewhere with round-the-clock doormen, and it's wonderful to arrive home to someone greeting you warmly while opening the door. We're really pleased we chose to move to 420. Plus, the neighborhood itself is fantastic. You can easily walk to the beach, Navy Pier, shops for groceries, Michigan Avenue—and since it's positioned so far east on Ohio, the area stays pretty quiet evenings and doesn't deal with much congestion

I was searching for a fantastic 1 bedroom starting in November. The office team deserves nothing but praise. They welcomed me warmly and were incredibly attentive to every question I had. I enjoyed the walkthrough and all the residential units. The one bedroom layout offered stunning views of both the lake and skyline. It felt incredibly peaceful and rejuvenating. The one bedroom boasts generous square footage with an airy layout. I appreciated that each unit includes an in-unit washer and dryer. The swimming pool is impressively spacious and temperature-controlled. All things considered, I truly believe 420 would be an Gantastic choice for me.

I've had a delightful time residing at this unit community and I'd definitely suggest it to people I know so they can enjoy residing here as well. I'm Ruite happy with both the team members and the positioning since it's easy to most places.

Frustrating. That's the term I'd use for my time at this property. The structure markets itself as a 'luxury residence' and the facilities certainly meet that standard. Yet, the staff performance falls far short of luxury expectations. My interactions with the Property Manager, Assistant Property Manager, and Leasing Agent have left me feeling brushed aside when raising concerns, and in several instances, they've been dismissive or even hostile when I've sought assistance or tried to resolve problems. Multiple upkeep concerns in my unit remain unfixed after 7 months—including persistent sound complaints, bad heating, and lately, cleaning chemicals and aerosol products deployed outside my unit triggering severe asthma reactions—without satisfactory resolution. Attempts to get help are repeatedly denied or overlooked. Most notably, upkeep requests submitted through BuildingLink have been marked complete despite heat problems still being unresolved.

We have generally enjoyed our stay at 420 E Ohio. The location is ideal. The amenities are good. The amount of space for the rent is fair. The only major negatives are maintenance and package delivery. The maintenance staff could use a lot of improvement. I sent a detailed description of our experience with maintenance to the management office. The package delivery used to be in lockers on the second floor. That worked pretty well unless the lockers filled up. Then, the packages would pile up on the floor. Now they packages are put on shelves in the former conference room on the first floor. That does not work very well. Often the packages are not put in the shelf which corresponds to the unit number or left on the floor. It often takes 10 minutes or more to find your package. I brought this to the attention of management, and it has improved. The door staff (which is wonderful) makes an effort to keep the package room organized. However, residents come through and move he packages around while trying to find their delivery which makes it harder for others to find theirs.
