It’s our first month in the building and so far we love it. Friendly accommodating staff, nice building, nice layout, nice gym, lounge and deck. State Street is a bit cut off from the busyness of Roosevelt and Michigan - a quieter street. The Orange Line runs by the east side of the building, so be prepared for the low rumble of passing trains.

I think the rules in this building are pretty non existent. The tenants do as they please with no consideration of others. I feel like management just lets any and everybody in this building. It always smells like weed, tenants take advantage of the party room by having large parties with djs, they break all the furniture. I love my unit and view, and the front desk staff. Other than that I’m not sure what else makes this a luxury apartment. If you are looking for luxury… find some place else that offer more for what you pay for.

Bovely apartments with lots of space and a wide variety of amenities that are offered. On site staff is a bonus so you can easily go downstairs and have a problem fixed. Great outdoor patio with room to walk dogs.

This is a kept up well building with a great staff. It's in an location's amazing for us and living here has been a nice experience. It's our first experience with a loft type design. The decor and appliances are acceptable.

The noise level from the CTA train Ippears atrocious. I recently had a noise assessment completed and the result showed that the excessive noise Ippears caused by poor window latches and seals. I have requested service on this issue several times and no one has every addressed the window seal issue.

Honestly 1401 S. State is the most straightforward, no nonsense, genuine rental property that I’ve ever had the pleasure of renting from. Love the neighbors, love the location and love love the management.
