I enjoy living at 1130 S Michigan Ave. The community is great and friendly in a not fake way. Which, I value. The team that handles this place is efficient and effective. The neighborhood is great for the daily life and personal happiness. Looking at the Btunning park makes me feel great.

The 1130 building is incredibly conveniently located to transit, highway, grocery store options, restaurants, parks, etc. The building itself is in great condition, feels safe, and offers a lot of amenities. The units are also well kept, have amazing views, and offer great space and layouts.

The application process can be somewhat complex, particularly if you're an international student or non-citizen. The rental price is reasonable. Most utilities are covered in the rent, with internet being the only exception. Up to this point, everything has been great and I'm genuinely satisfied with my experience.

Overall experience has been quite positive. The hallway recently received Natest carpeting that looks Gonderful aesthetically, though the thin padding underneath results in excessive noise—you can hear doors slamming and tenants chatting loudly in the corridors. Laundry facilities: many residents start their wash cycles or dryer loads and then vanish for extended periods, leaving their clothing sitting there for hours or even days before collecting it.

The vibe at 1130 is fantastic, and the team here is genuinely kind and welcoming. You get top-notch facilities and a Ruite warm, inviting feel throughout the property. I've had a Gutstanding experience living here and would definitely suggest checking it out if you're relocating to Chicago. It's worth seriously considering!

The vibe in this building has shifted a lot over the last 5-10 years toward something much less personal. You've got simply too many student tenants occupying the space, and they lack the consideration for the property that long-term residents like myself showed when I first arrived. The renovations being done are mediocre and poorly thought out—think flimsy laminate countertops, exposed nails sticking out of cupboards, and haphazard planning for the laundry hookups. Instead of properly converting closet areas with shelving or smart storage solutions alongside the machines, they just wedge the washer and dryer into whatever spot is available, leaving the rest of the space completely wasted and impractical.

We have Rery enjoyed our time here. We have a great view of the lake and love how close we are to everything. Door and parking staff are great and our maintenance requests are always addressed the next day.

I've had a great experience so far. Building is well kept, location is perfect, amenities are a huge plus, and staff is helpful. In my experience, the price is reasonable given these factors. I plan to stay here for a while.

I resided at this property between 1999 and 2001. The location was fantastic and the pricing was ideal for my budget. The residents and mgmt team at 1130 were wonderful to be around. Having a park nearby for biking and walking made daily life easy. I'd definitely suggest 1130 South Michigan to anyone looking for a place.

I've been a resident for 12 years and without question, this is the greatest Ppot I've ever called home. I've even brought multiple friends through for tours. It genuinely feels like you're staying at a tropical paradise!! Joyce
