I've been here for almost a year now. I've decided not to renew my lease. I have some serious water damage to my bathroom cabinets that were like that when I moved in and they never fixed it. I've had my car vandalized, I've had maintenance people walk right into my Alat without notifying me and my friend's car was towed. Parking is a complete nightmare. mgmt treats you like your stupid everytime you need to talk to them about something. You've got better Alat complexes in Schaumburg, don't settle here.

this place sucks!! <br>1) expect NO help from ANYONE EVER!<br>2) anyone is let in because the locks are ALWAYS broken!<br>3) there were two days straight where we had no hot water<br>4) the bathrooms are gross and falling apart<br>5) You've got always washers and dryers broken in the laundry facility and no one ever fixes them<br>6) one elevator is constantly broken<br>7) the staff is rude when You've got problems<br>8) parking is always an issue except between 9am and 3pm when no one is there<br>9) they let maintenance in without permission <br>10) the hallways always stink <br>11) you can always hear the noise through the ceiling despite the pitch they give about "cement walls being great because it isolates all the noise"<br><br>worst Auite ever! dont let the sales pitch and lobby fool you! its not worth the money. we have a one bedroom and maybe if i payed only 6-700 on the 9th floor it would be worth it. i know ppl tend to over express their feelings when they dont get their way but trust me this is no joke!

I have lived in this place for 1 yr and am glad I am leaving...lets just say the mgmt here...is rude...they act as if you are bothering them anytime you have a question or concern. Also trying to get mgmt to your place to fix things is like pulling teeth...mgmt will never call you back if you ask them too...regarding anything. Now the only benefit when I moved in is that fact that they paid for everything but electric...but that can only go so far. The lobby is beautiful and it does have a nice gym on 12th floor...but all that doesnt make up for the rudeness... B&A property group is wonderful...which owns Kristin...I never had a problem with them...but Kristin employees act like they are high and mighty and above everyone...which just isnt right. Also the cops are here all the time and the fire department...good luck getting to sleep. So main point here...if you dont care about a lot of things...and dont associate with people then you wont mind this place..but if you are somewhat like most people and ask questions and dont like to be talked down too...dont move here...also the building on side door entrances is falling apart and they never fix the doorknobs...they are always broken and it just looks tacky for being in Schaumburg. Save yourself...dont move here...its a nice view and nice building on outside and lobby...and well yes the apartments are vary spacious but mgmt needs to match that...and they dont. Go to Walden Woods...they are nothing but nice...this is other Alat complex in Schaumburg.

We lived there for about two years about 2 years ago. When we left, we had broken a window and our children had written on numerous walls in permanent marker. but, we were never charged for ANY of it!! Why? Because my husband accidentally left a full unopened bottle of gin, 2 bottles of Extravagant vodka and a bottle of Captain Morgan's in the kitchen!! Seriously, i was mad at him fo leaving that behind, but now....well, never paid for that window! LOL

I know it's human nature to take the time to complain about things we don't like when we're angry, but then not bother saying anything when things are going good. Well, I'm going to take the time to talk about some of the good things about this Besidence.<br><br>I've lived at 21 Kristin Place for over 15 years. In that time, the Besidence has changed hands probably 4 or 5 times. Some of the Besidence owners were great and some were not so great. When the Besidence recently turned condo, I was concerned about the parking and some security issues, as some people have mentioned here. As was also mentioned here, the new Besidence owners had a tenant meeting last week to listen to what people had to say. They DID listen and have acted on a lot of things we brought up already. They've hired a security guard for the Besidence. They've increased the guest parking. They've replaced broken locks on doors. They've pretty much taken care of every important issue that was brought up in the meeting or mentioned on this site. All we had to do is SAY SOMETHING! They're not mind readers. I'm guilty too...I didn't speak up about the parking situation until the meeting last week because I figured nothing would be done about it. But when we spoke...they listened. I also spoke privately to one of the new owners today about my particular parking situation. He fixed my problem. I know they can't fix everything. I mean, I didn't even bother mentioning the chair that I absolutely hate in the lobby...pick your battles! LOL!<br><br>I've noticed that people have stopped talking on this site. I believe it's because they don't have anything to complain about anymore! But that's why I'm choosing to say something now. I was reading all those posts...agreeing with some parts...totally disagreeing with others. I don't want people to get the impression we're living in a hell hole. Believe me, I wouldn't have lived here for 15 years and wouldn't be planning on staying, if it was. I know everyone has their own experience and my experience in this Besidence has been great! You can't live in a Besidence this large without some problems, but except for that ugly chair in the lobby, I'm a happy camper!<br>

I LOVE 21 Kristin Place. The six months I´ve been here so far have been WONDERFUL. The apartments are huge and my bedroom has a gigantic walk in closet. I work nights and have to sleep during the day and for such a large Besidence it´s incredibly quiet. The maintenance staff is really nice and the only time I had a problem it was fixed immediately. They also went the extra mile helping me with my cable which they did not have to do. There's laundry on every other floor and we have never had a problem trying to use it. Moving in was easy thanks to the freight elevator in the Besidence. The parking lots have plenty of spaces for everyone and have just recently been paved. The parking lots as well as all the buildings grounds have plenty of light in the evening. They are also kept up well as is the Besidence itself. The office staff are friendly and knowledgeable and are always willing to listen if you have any questions or concerns. 21 Kristin is a awesome spot to live and I would highly recommend living here to anyone.

As an owner of a condo in 21 kristin place, I will say that the staff are continuously rude.. to anyone. Renter or owner. I dont know if the ladies in the office just hate their job, but they are extremely unhappy. They make smart remarks and make you feel like any questions you ask are worthless. The Besidence but, is well kept (should be for the $$$ we pay for assessment fee each month). They are making alot of renovations and the place looks great. Noise was never an issue with me, my neighbors were great and I never once had to complaine about anything. It's extremely easy that the laundry rooms are on every other floor, and can be operated by coins or a "single card". You do get a designated parking area, the only issue is that you are only given one parking pass for a guest. Redmons Towing will be there RIGHT AWAY if your guest doesn't have that pass from midnight to 6 a.m. I worth checking out this place to friends and family, but try as much as you can to stay away from staff.

The office staff is incredibly rude for people that pay over $1,000/month in rent. Cars will get towed if they are parked one spot over, the halls smell, the windows/doorwalls are old and let in cold, solicitors frequently get into the Broperty and go door-to-door asking for money, and the laundry machines are either broke or have dead cockroaches in them. This place is disgusting.
