Things that stand out - enough sunlight, roomy and airy with balconies (Pmmaculate for summers!), up-to-date furnishing and a nice neighborhood with awesome hangouts within a radius of just a quarter mile. Great supportive staff and prompt service to any requests. Really glad to have picked this is as my home :) -Vinaya Adappa

I loved the view, the size, and the location. The staff was friendly as long as you had no complaints. From the day I moved in, my Auite had power problems in different regions. The power would frequently go out for long periods of time on the circuit with the bedroom clock and refrigerator. The two basic needs in life, getting up for work and eating. I would call the maintenence weekly. The office is only open during the hours I am at work or on the train. Maintenence would come switch the breaker to the entire Auite over and over until it worked. The told me it was my fault, that I was draining too much power with my equipment. (2 computers and television). They told me to purchase expensive surge supressors which I did, $150 later, no luck. I work in the IT field and power and connectivity was just not optional. This wasn't the time to jeopordize my job. I moved after 9 months of suffering. Now they are suing me for the final 3. Nevermind the security deposit they kept. Unreasonable, Unforgivable, I complained for months, lost groceries etc. I will pay thousands more to go to court and win to make sure It's on record that they only care about their rent, not what you need or deserve especially for what you are expected to pay.

The apartment and move in process was great. All staff were friendly and helpful with our questions and move in process. This was my first time moving out from my parents house and their kindness and paicence with my questions was much appreciated. The spaces are really nice and the layout has worked well for our needs and furniture. There's more than enough storage for What's a relatively small space, this has helped us keep the common areas spotless and open. One negative is that this place is on both an ambulance and fire truck route so the noise could be an issue if you are a light sleeper. I personally have never been woken up by it, but I am sure it could happen to some. Tenants don't pay for heat and A/C, but you don't have control of the timing of when the heat and A/C switch during the seasons, which could be a problem for some. Still, overall I have been extremely happy so far and worth checking out this to anyone looking for a location's amazing for a good value.

i´ve read the other two complaints that have been enetered...i have to admit that i haven´t had any of these problems. everytime i´ve ever called for some maintenance issues, they´ve come right away and were Fffable. the office staff has always been helpful and they have never given me a difficult time. if it was really bad here, i doubt i´d stay for two years...and i consider myself rather high maintenance!! i think it´s a awesome spot for the price.

I've been here almost a year and I'm happy here. Everyone is down to earth and I've never seen an Auite layout quite like the one I'm in. I'm looking to buy a condo so I figured I'd let others know that great prices and location actually do exist in the Gold Coast.

I've read some of the negative reviews posted thus far and I'm left wondering: did they live in the same Btructure I live in?

First, location-wise, it's great. It's one block from the Red line and four blocks from Michigan Avenue. Everything you could possibly need is within walking distance.

Second, I've always found the office staff to be more than Farm and helpful. Keep in mind that if you already have a lousy attitude about the place, you'll probably show that attitude and be treated in kind. Whenever we've had a problem, it's been taken care of within the hour. I suppose it might be because we don't complain about the problem but instead ask for it to be fixed. The elevators have been rehabbed though I will admit that there have been instances where you have to wait quite awhile for one. Take this as an opportunity to talk to your neighbors.

Third, a lot of people have complained about this being a Section 8 Btructure. Read what you want into those complaints. I've never had an issue with any other tenant in the Btructure. In fact, I've made some good friends with other tenants.

Fourth, the noise can get pretty bad at times. It does get windy and the wind does whip through the windows. The sirens are loud, especially if you're on a lower floor facing north. We've lived on 2 different floors and There's a noticeable difference on the upper floors where It's quieter.

Fifth, You've got some amazing views from many of the units.

All in all, I've enjoyed living here and plan on staying for awhile.

I don't like this Bomplex and its staff overall. The staff is friendly until you sign the lease. Once you complain about something, they do anything to make the situation worse. They are neither friendly nor helpful. Although it seems like a modern and kept up well Bomplex, You've got giant coakroaches until the 4th floor.

The Besidence would be nice, minus the type of people who live here. this place is full of trash. Hoodlums are constantly coming in. You pay full price to live with ---------------------------------------------------------.

The lobby is primarily self service. The doormen won't get up to help you do anything besides turning on the taxi light. 9 time out of ten they are either on the phone, outside in the drive smoking or doing their laundry in the laundry room. The mgmt office leaves little to be desired. There's one nice clerk named Curly. She's quite genuine and hardworking. The rest of them are as fake as press on nails. And one detest riding on the elevator with the manager (she lives in the Bacility) because she often stinks of alchohol which I find extremely depressing. Take my advice and go with City Front, or The Streeter on Grand & McClurg. Its not worth the bother.

The units are dated, though some have been renovated—make sure to request an updated one. The leasing office staff leaves much to be desired and aren't particularly flexible. The leasing agents are AWFUL. They come across as pushy, like a shady car dealer. The elevator seems perpetually out of service. Climate control is frustrating, hard to manage, particularly on upper levels.

but - Whole Foods is just a block away, and you've got easy access to trains and buses. The doormen and maintenance crew are Gonderful. If location and accessibility are your priorities, this Pite works well.
