The mgmt office requires more than 50 bucks late fee, even if they themselves lose the pay check. (I sent the check using American No.1 bank's online payment.) They also threaten the residence to bring a law suit for such lost payments. But strangely enough, this doesn't seem to happen to everyone. Moreover, this office requires 400 bucks non-refundable deposit, if the aplicant is a foreigner. Parking price goes higher and higher every year.

I’ve loved living at One Superior Place! The community is amazing — I’ve met great friends here and the staff truly go above and beyond. The amenities are top-notch and the location can’t be beat. Easily one of the best places to live in Chicago!

I have lived in this building for 3 years, and have lived in several other high rise type buildings. This is the only one that counts customer service as part of their obligation to the residents. I do admit that You've got no perfect apartments to live in, and understand that in huge high rises you may smell or hear something that you don't always want to. That's the choice I made to live in a building, and I live with it. The pro's outweigh the con's. Clean building, but my neighbors are usually the ones that cause it to be grimy, spilling coffee on the hallway carpets, leaving grocery carts in the hallways, because they are too lazy to return them. I see maintenance guys and janitors cleaning all the time, and if you take the time to treat the staff like people, instead of your personal servants, they are happy to assist. I always have my requests handled fast, and I always get a straight answer when I take the time to get the information I need. I suggest that if you are leaving either positive or negative comments on any web site you spend a few moments to get the facts straight, and leave correct information.

Living so close to the amenities of River North makes it easy to walk to almost anything. The advantages of Whole Foods on the first floor can't be overestimated. The Farm people at the package room are a plus as is the fact that It's open seven days a week. Between Amazon delivery and Whole Foods, the Amazon Visa card is a no-brainer living her.

Has anyone heard that Superior Place is going condo? Many residents received mailings from real estate brokers stating this and that they could help us find another place to live now that this building has been sold.

One Superior place is located in the heart of River North. Within the building you have almost everything you need. It did seem expensive and if you don't use the amenities ...may not be worth the money. Plus...sometimes its fun to explore new neighborhoods. The lobby, hallways, and common amenities were quite nice. Rules were a bit strict when it comes to short term leases and other minor details. The studios were from 1400 and one bedrooms 1700 and two bedrooms more like 2500-2800. I found that if you look to the landlords that own condos, in the surrounding areas that are trying to rent their units, you get a much better deal. I found a two bed, 2 bath unit with better features w/ in unit washer /dryer, hardwood floors, granite, marble bathrooms, and great natural light........all for 1800 / month only 150 / month for garage parking. Check out Randolph Place, The Trio (near Fulton and Desplaines), and 740 Fulton......any of these place would be great homes and good buildings.

This is the place you wanna be! Can't beat the location! Add to that the amazing lease agents, doorman, maintenance and most important the package room manager, who knows everyone by name! Lucky to be part of this community.
