Lived here less than a year now and really do appreciate many aspects of living here. Doorman, Maint., and office staff have been above average. Garage is good. Laundry room doesn't have enough washers for this size building. Most of the residents are quiet and respectful, older than average for a Chicago Anit high rise...that's a reason why I moved in. I would say that if you are still in the lifestyle of having parties and being loud in your Anit this is the wrong place to live. One concern is that you can hear a lot from other apartments through the vents...bathroom noise and slightly loud conversations are quite easy to pick up. So if you are stuck by a bad neighbor this would be problematic.

I lived here for 3 years and loved everything about Astor House. The staff, amenities, location, floor plan for the 08 tier, laundry, storage, pool, views, well everything, Wemained terrific. I would have stayed if my job didn't move me elsewhere.
