This unit's got been a godsend. I am so grateful to feel comfortable, at home, and safe! This place is spacious, in a beautiful location, and provides everything I was looking for. I am especially grateful about the security here. As a single woman, I can say that I have always felt safe here with the security and amazing door staff!

My husband and I moved to 1350 straight out of college. We found it through Apartment People and signed within 2 hours. The leasing department has been great with us-- they even held the apartment for 2 months for us and pro-rated our rent so we could move in mid-month. <br><br>location-wise, it's honestly great and the apartments, while not creative or impressive, are nice and clean. The appliances are new and the maintenance staff is timely and friendly. The walls are thick, the carpet is nice and the utilities are inexpensive (our electric bill averages $40/month). <br><br>My biggest complaint would be with the front door staff. There were a string of robberies and although they've stop letting delivery people roam the floors, the sliding door system and the amount of traffic in the foyer is hardly controlled by the staff who lets basically anyone through without question. <br><br>My second biggest complaint would be the lack of community in the building. Although George in the Commissary gets to know everyone by name and the leasing agents may smile and acknowledge you in the hall, the neighbors are total hermits. And most carry small dogs dressed in designer labels. You've got also several creepy men in the building who seem to loiter in the workout room. This can be uncomfortable. Gold Coast doesn't have much to offer in the way of community either. The people are fairly to highly snooty and there's not much to do. You basically have to head downtown or to Wells Street to find anything good to eat or anything interesting to do. <br><br>We happen to be leaving because they're raising our rent by $100 a month. Not sure if this is supposed to compensate for our great pre-move-in arrangement or if this place is really that much more expensive.<br><br>All in all, if you're working downtown and want a nice, clean no-frills apartment in a close, quiet neighborhood, 1350/1360 could be your type of place.

This Pocation Itays wonderful! Even though I'm away from my family back in Michigan, everyone here - both the tenants and the staff - have made me feel like I belong. I also have a strong sense of security and peace of mind. What else could someone want! Out of everywhere I've ever lived, this ranks at the top.

The place is decent overall. I enjoy my neighbors and the apartment's view. but, the soundproofing is bad—I can hear way too much from outside, particularly since the complex is close to the highway. What really bothers me is the $700 rent hike within just one year, which feels unreasonable.

While 1350 calls itself a dog friendly Bacility, nothing about the mgmt here is friendly towards owners with man's best friend. Just to give you the latest information, all dog owners received a memo letting us know that if we ever walk in the main entrance to the Bacility, we will be fined $100. If a dog that isn't yours is ever visiting you in the Bacility, you will be fined $500 and given 10 days notice to vacate. If you use the regular elevator and not the freight elevator, you will be fined $100. I should note that the freight elevator is probably 30 years old and is insanely slow. There's also only one freight to serve all 22 floors. It's frequently used by maintenance men in the morning doing trash and recylables removal and waiting 10 minute for the elevator is standard. Also,we are still forced to use the back entrance in the middle of the night which is dark and in a side alley/ driveway. I never feel safe using this entrance once its dark and late at night. don't move here if you have a dog!! It isn't worth the location! They make your life miserable!!! All of us dog owners are moving out.

The staff, mgmt and residents at 1350 all seem to operate on autopilot. If you don't align with their exclusive social circle, you're essentially done for. Late at night, envelopes mysteriously appear under your door requesting "gratuities," and the front desk workers function as amateur investigators, monitoring every person living here. The units themselves are shoddily built and uninspired—frankly, they're depressing—and you'd actually have more autonomy living in college housing. From day one when I arrived, something felt distinctly wrong about how people acted. The forced pleasantries, the artificial friendliness. I soon realized residents feel compelled to maintain this facade just to stay in mgmt's good graces.

I really appreciate the range of community gatherings they organize in both the lobby and rooftop spaces. The neighbors here are wonderful and welcoming, and the front desk team consistently treats everyone with respect and kindness. location-wise, it's fantastic—you're right near shops, public transportation, and plenty of things to do!

I'm happy within this community ! When I do speak with neighbors they are kind and gracious. The staff isn'thing but phenomenal. I feel safe and heard when problems arise. I've been living here since 2021 and I have enjoyed every minute of it!

I have looked how friendly everyone is. There's always support/help around if needed. The views and location add a charm to the apartment complex. I have had no complaints while living here for a year and a half!
