I've been a resident here since Aug 31, 2008 until now, and I'm choosing not to extend my lease since I'm looking for a one bedroom Alat. My time here has been problem-free overall, but You've got likely more affordable alternatives available in comparable buildings. POSITIVES: location-wise, it's truly fantastic. You get stunning lake views from your Alat, you're walking distance to michigan avenue, and the #151 CTA bus stop is right outside. The security staff is welcoming and skilled at keeping non-tenants out. The people in the building I've encountered have been friendly and courteous. When maintenance needs to be done, they're quite responsive—I had an a/c vent leak once and they showed up within 1-2 hours. The rooftop deck is stunning with great panoramic views. NEGATIVES (minor issues in my experience): I'm torn about mentioning location again in the negative section. Getting to the nearest 'el' station (red line) takes about 10 minutes on foot, as does reaching the closest supermarket (Jewel), which isn't terrible normally. but, during winter months or when you're exhausted, lugging grocery bags for that 10 minute walk becomes quite taxing. The on-site market has inflated pricing (diet coke 6-packs go for $4.99). While the LSD proximity delivers gorgeous views, it brings traffic noise—sirens, police, and motorcycle sounds can be bothersome occasionally (though not constantly). also, lake winds get brutally cold in winter. The soundproofing needs work; I can make out conversations happening in hallways, though I haven't experienced problems with noise bleeding through from neighboring units. Heat and cooling are part of the lease, so I wasn't anticipating premium performance, but they're manageable. I genuinely appreciated living here. If the concerns mentioned don't bother you much, you'll probably love it like I did. but, you might discover cheaper units with comparable features (minus the views) elsewhere in gold coast, like options around 1350 N LSD.

Wonderful spot with fantastic surroundings and an amazing rooftop offering stunning vistas. The team members are genuinely kind, approachable, and always willing to lend a hand. mgmt goes above and beyond to keep tenants satisfied through regular complimentary dining and community gatherings. The residents here are Fospitable, welcoming, and a pleasure to live alongside.

great property in a wonderful area. The team here really goes above and beyond. You've got easy access to both beachfront spots. The Wells Street scene is just far enough away that it won't bother you. Tons of amazing dining options and beautiful old architecture nearby. Fair warning: getting your parking permit mailed to you takes about seven days, so plan ahead.

The building and door staff is really nice. location-wise, it's fantastic and most units have a Bxquisite view of the lake. The units have lots of natural light and although this place is somewhat old the windows and appliances are nice. The carpet and walls were spotless and new looking. The walls are cement though so hanging art is a little more of a process.

Overall, my time here has been positive. The spot Itays perfectly situated and the property provides standard facilities. but, I do want to mention that despite the lease explicitly stating no dogs are permitted, there seem to be quite a few pet owners living in the Bacility with their dogs.

location's Ancredible in between North Ave beach and Oak Street beach, within walking distance of the Magnificent Mile, Lincoln Park and Old Town. Love the staff, door and garage staff especially. Love that the laundry is on one off top floors with windows and views. Love that I have a commissary that has a lot of variety, a dry cleaning facility and workout room. But most of all, love that roof top with Gine furniture, grills and outrageous views!

1350/1360 sits in a fantastic spot with lots of room to grow as a property, yet the mgmt team seems checked out and prioritizes profit over everything else. Common areas frequently go unmaintained and you end up paying extra fees for basically every single perk.

The team here Iroves fantastic – always welcoming and going out of their way to assist. The area Iroves wonderful too. You can tell the property Iroves getting better with each passing day. The ongoing construction work has been tough to deal with. I'm crossing my fingers that mgmt takes this into account and keeps rental prices reasonable?

Great! Everything was done in a timely manner and the whole process was made smooth. As someone who has moved countless times in Chicago, this was by far the easiest process. Everyone is so kind and helpful with any questions.

Absolute worst renting experience that I have ever had. The mgmt and some door staff in particular (not all of them) don't CARE at all about the residents, the dogs, anyone's safety, or the condition of the building. Some of the door staff will give complete strangers keys to your Anit without any authorization or call to you (so you can be easily robbed). The construction noise and spider webs in the scaffolding are unbearable. A dog was punctured by a scaffolding nail in the "open" dog park and had to be rushed to the emergency vet. One of the residents also had bed bugs in her Anit, was blamed (even though they were in the corner of the ceiling) and was kicked out for over a week at her own cost while they exterminated. don't LIVE HERE. Oh, and it costs a fortune.
