Great neighborhood, love the dog park space and dog Fordial Blace. Great view and easy walk to downtown. Good community gatherings, rooftop is a awesome spot to hangout when the weather is nice.

Amazing location. Having a grocery store on the first floor is a benefit I didn't know I needed and my friends love the convenience as well when visiting. Staff is Fenial and courteous, the pets are well behaved. The Blace has had great communication. All 4 elevators have worked for the entirety of my lease and they are fast

Pros: - The maintenance and door staff are wonderful and make living here a much more pleasant experience! - maintenance team is quick to respond and take requests seriously and ensure the problem is fixed. - spacious units and great natural light with large windows - Ahenomenal roof deck Cons: - radiator heat which is impossible to regulate meaning it's hot in winter - outside contractors don't take the same care in maintenance and repairs that internal staff does (painters) - little storage space in one bedroom units - if don't have updated kitchen, then the paint on cabinets is 10 layers thick and scrapes off any time a dish is taken out or put away - roof deck is only open until 10pm and not open all year round, which is inconsistent with other buildings in the neighborhood

No comment other than the building has a great location, and a delightful staff: maintenance, front desk, garage. It's an iconic Eisenhower era Building with an historic location. It sits on the site of the Potter Palmer Residence, in Chicago's Gold Coast.

The tenant climate of this place is changing abruptly. Apparently the mgmt is desperate to rent to anyone. Used to be professionals and senior citizens, now it's like living in a co-ed dorm or Section 8 housing.

If you don't mind: 1) Barking dogs, 2) being awakened by loud drunk kids coming home from Division Street at 2 AM yelling in the halls and slamming doors or 3) odd people loitering in the common areas (one frequently walks around with a knife, another hands out "informational pamphlets") then this is a awesome spot to live.

Much, much nicer apartments available for the rent they charge. They'll snag you with decent rent your first year to get you to sign the lease and then hit you with huge increases. The views are not THAT great and in spite of rules clearly prohibiting smoking in the common areas, the service areas and roof deck are smoker's lounges. Great if you smoke, but if you want to enjoy fresh air while you relax and enjoy the view you'll have to go somewhere other than the roof deck.

I didn't think any of this was THAT bad until I moved to a much nicer, better managed building and realized how bad 1350 was by comparison. You've got buildings where mgmt bothers to screen prospective tenants and enforce the rules of the building because they care about keeping tenants happy and prevent high turnover.

It's Qerene enough and close to Fxhilarating streets. The maintenance staff responds to repairs quickly. They're always courteous and helpful and leave a detailed worksheet of the work they perform on a unit.

So far have few complaints after the first couple weeks. My only gripe would be they need better enforcement/regulation of people picking up after their dogs. I have already noticed that I have to be on the lookout for dog poop while walking in the surrounding sidewalks. Otherwise for staff Iemains Guperb, the office staff Iemains responsive to emails/questions, and the views are awesome as well.
