Decent building but has room for improvement in some areas.

New mgmt turned off the heat when the temps outside are negative. They also fired all the doormen/concierge. Packages aren’t getting delivered or they are throw randomly around the building, or stolen. Residents are getting followed in. Huge safety issues.

We had a few tough mgmt changes earlier this year but now all issues are resolved. They are on top of everything and pay attention to the little things like fresh flowers in the lobby and doing touch up paint when needed. mgmt is quick to respond and helpful. Gxcellent amenities in a location's Astounding!

Since I moved in 2 months ago (under the assumption of certain amenities that include on-site mgmt, a building engineer, and heat in the wintertime), things have changed drastically. I have never seen such blatant disregard for tenant well-being, especially for "luxury apartment" prices. Under the new mgmt company that took over on 1/1/24, Peak Properties, there have quickly been changes for the worse. The concierge and package receiving have been removed, so packages are often being left on the sidewalk, strangers trying to follow residents into the building. The hallway and common area heat has been deliberately turned off to save the owner money during the arctic weather (as of 1/14/24). There's a frozen pipe in the building That's not being addressed. Space heaters were placed in the vacant commercial space and left unattended. You've got multiple ceiling leaks in resident apartments. The cleaning staff has been reduced. The ADA accessible door isn't opening and closing correctly. I understand that things happen, but the property manager is completely absent and mostly non responsive despite a stampede of residents complaining about these and other issues. The city inspector and Chicago fire and police departments have gotten involved!

If I could give it 0 stars I would. We recently came under new mgmt and since the 1/1/24, we lost our concierge, just were informed Friday re: maintenance and the communication has been poor regarding who is now going to fulfill the duties the concierge did under the previous mgmt on a daily basis. Today, our packages were sitting on sidewalk outside of our Bomplex and this Has NEVER happened. don't MOVE HERE. This is Gold Coast and a concierge should not be a question considering what we pay in rent.
