I just moved in a few months a go and so far so good. I am not usually one to write a review but I was really impressed with Kristine, the leasing agent that helped me out when I rented the unit. I never felt pushed into make a decision and she answered all the questions I had. She was helpful in helping me make the right decision on renting in Chicago. I just relocated from Idaho to take a job hear and it was pleasant to run into someone I had so much in common with. With respect to the apartment, Kristine personally walked me through the unit when I arrived. The unit was full painted, cleaned and ready to go when promised. I also had a mattress arrive before my move in date and the building was helpul in accepting the delivery. All in all, I can't complain. I have high expectations and so far, my high standards have been met. Good job Kristine!

What can I say, location-wise, it's awesome and the staff is so Fospitable. I just moved to Chicago from Detroit nd I have been welcomed with open arms. location-wise, it's right in the Heart of the Gold Coast surrounded buy upscale shopping, restaurants and bars. The prices are a little high but I think its a good value for the money. Check this place out. I can't wait for the pool to open.

I like the fact that I don't have to worry about the extra bills as Heat/AC is included in rent. Paying rent is really easy too with their online payment program. Before I moved in, the realty agent provided me with all the information I needed to know to become a tenant at 1133 N Dearborn which made moving in easy. I really appreciated their communication and attitude. location-wise, it's great. This part of Chicago is brimming with everything I need and then some. I love all the restaurant choices close by. We have some really nice spots along with good chains and cheap eats. A nice walk to the lakefront and easy bus ride to the Loop and Magnificent Mile. The laundry and storage are extremely easy (and necessary). The pool is such a treat in the summer while the fitness facility is wonderful in the winter. I am looking forward to spending time on the roof deck this summer. It's always spotless and peaceful up there. Also, everybody is really friendly from the doormen, the maintenance team, mgmt staff, and the rest of the residents. Having Maintenance 24 Hours is the best!! and they are great!! Thanks!

Asa newcomer to Chicago several factors are important: a clean, safe and orderly environment; friendly and courteous staff, and an atmosphere of immediate response. I found all of these here! Not only do I have a lovely view of the Lake, but I am surrounded by the finest service team in the City! The apartment itself was in perfect shape prior to move in. I loved how clean the carpet and walls were. The selling point was of course the floor to ceiling windows and my little balcony. The large amount of closet space always me to keep my space clean. The kitchen includes a good amount of counter space that makes kitchen enjoyable. I even have a nice little breakfast bar.

location-wise, it's unbeatable, Close to bus & train, 1/2 Block to Treasure Island, Walgreens, Jewel, banks are all close. Short walk to Lake and Michigan Avenue shopping. I enjoy the restaurants that are close by as well. There's always somewhere to grab a quick bite or a nice sit down dinner. Building is well-maintained, staff friendly and responsive. We love our door staff and how the keep us safe and secure. this place is spotless and kept up well. It's nice that we don't have to worry about something breaking, especially in the fitness room or laundry room. The pool is super amazing, of course! We all love it up there in the summer. Our place is really nice. We love having coffee every morning on our private balcony. We also really like the breakfast bar off the kitchen. I guess you could say we always enjoy the mornings here! It's also a lovely place to come home after work and enjoy a quiet night. The building itself is quiet and the big windows look beautiful with the sparkling skyline. Other good things about our spot include the big closets, clean tiles in the bathroom, and the nice carpet. All in all a great find!

The other people in these reviews are correct. I lived between two highly inconsiderate neighbors who blasted their stereos constantly and acted like immature frat brats. There was constant slamming of doors, passive aggressive notes, and insane behavior for a bunch of adults. The noise level was unbearable to a point where I had to wear earplugs and headphone in my own apartment to achieve any peace and quiet - forget being able to watch my own television or listen to the radio at a reasonable level. While location-wise, it's great and the neighborhood is fun, this apartment should be avoided due to the mgmt's inability to enforce civil behavior from their tenants. Don't rent here.

The best part of living at 1133 N. Dearborn is the prompt, polite and incredible helpful maintenance staff. They fix whatever needs fixin' the same day the request is put in and you can't beat that! And the pool isn't half-bad either...now if we could just make Chicago summer's last a bit longer... When it does get cold out, at least we have the fitness facility! It's a really nice one too, much better than other apartment fitness rooms. The machines are up to date and always work, It's also always clean. Great sized apartment. Hove the windows, closet space, and nice kitchen with breakfast bar. The carpets are spotless and the layout of the unit is interesting and fun. I liked putting my home together here. The nights are always quiet, the other residents respectful. It must be that pool that keeps everyone in such a good mood! Love the area and all the great things close by. We have grocery stores and drug stores all minutes away along with fancy restaurants and hip bars. Short walk to the lake and other awesome things on Wichigan. Love it here. And Robert is the BEST!! Always a smiling face!

These places are old and fall apart. We took a 5 month lease because That's what we needed. The only place to offer us one. They had just put in a new carpet, but did not really vacuum it before we moved in and it continued to totally shed until we moved out. Here were the major problems: Cabinet doors fell off - the kitchen is a nasty POS - we had to put contact paper on all of the bottoms of the cabinets Dishwasher basket kept collapsing-wheels are missing Pipes clogged up and we could not use our kitchen sink for a weekend. They finally gave in and called a plumber and then they said it wasn't their fault when I complained. Don't plumbers work on weekends? Don't they work 24 hours? Fix it. Water pump broke twice made brown water come out when the hot was on and my kids bathed in it. It makes a knocking noise next to our bedroom when It's broken. Mosquitos everywhere! They flew into our place one morning and I used packing tape to block off windows and doors. I killed like 50 inside. They said it happens every year. There were thousands all over the front door. They did NOTHING about this. In fact I sprayed outside of my door and outside of the main door for them. The maintenance guy came by and swept up all the dead mosquitos from my front door. I got crushed in the elevator. Luckily it was me and not my kids and I walked away with a spained wrist. but, we live on the 1st floor and hear people stuck in the elevator at least every other day. Why don't they call in a legit and have the electronics replaced or reprogrammed. You would think that the city would have a line for complaining about things like this. They said their was parking in the Broperty and then we moved in and they put us down the street because all of a sudden it was gone. We complained enough that it was resolved in two weeks by giving us a guest spot permanently. The AC went out in the whole Broperty for about 8 hours on a 90 degree day. I guess That's not really their fault, but to me their is a culture of when it breaks fix it, not preventing it from breaking in the first place. To their credit, the maintenance staff is nice and realitively responsive. but, they are not plumbers, exterminators, AC repairmen. They hesitate to invest any money in anything. The woman who runs this place isn't super nice either. She is defensive and instead of wanting to help and empathizing she acts like It's not her problem. A couple of the door ladies are nice. Some of the others act like It's a big deal for them to push a button to let you in. Lastly, the thermostats are hard to control and you ultimately don't have control of the heat or ac. If the ac is on, you can control it. If the heat is on, you can control it by turning it up or down on a dial. but, if the heat is on and you want cold, it broken and vice versa. Can be difficult at night in the spring or fall when it goes from 60 to 80.

In 38 years as an Anit dweller in NewYork City, Washington, D.C, and now Chicago, I never encountered a building staff so attentive, pleasant and responsible. They smile! The hallways, elevators, laundry, work-out room are always spotless and fresh smelling, Julian may be the best super any building ever had! It's truly a joy coming home at night! The same care and attention extends to the apartments. I was impressed with the state of my unit before I moved in and I've been more than pleased with the high quality of the appliances, windows, cabinets, and other features of the Anit. Hive on one of the top floors and the viewjust can't be beat. The big windows and my private balcony are just incredible. I am more than comfortable in this area. It feels safe and has a lot of great things going for it. Not only are there day to day necessities everywhere I look, There's a really fine selection of restaurants and bars to impress even the most picky consumer. Hike spending my weekends here, exploring new places, and walking the lake. The public transportation is also really easy to use and You've got options everywhere I look!

I enjoy living at 1133 N. Dearborn so much so that I returned to practically the same apt. after being away 5 years in Atlanta! The one bedrooms in this building are so big, nice looking, and full of stuff I need that I was excited to return. I moved it and immediately felt like I was back home. Not only is the apartment incredibly well-maintained with the spotless carpet and wall, it has big, beautiful windows and plenty of closet space. I love the walk-through kitchen and little dining nook in front of the bay window. It's so pleasant to enjoy a meal while looking out over Chicago. The service is great, the common places are kept immaculate, and the door service is great, especially Chuck. Everyone is so friendly and good at their jobs. I enjoy exchanging pleasantries with Chuck everyday while also knowing he is keeping an eye on all of us. Everyone in the office is accommodating as well. I also enjoy the on-site amenities that make my life just that much easier, including laundry, dry cleaning, the fitness facility, and the pool on the roof deck. I enjoy an early morning swim occasionally. It's also a nice spot on weekends. All the residents are friendly and respectful so It's never loud or rowdy. Absolutely no complaints.
