It's an affordable, kept up well and perfectly located Bacility. I attend Columbia College and I never imagined finding a place in Chicago for under $700 where I can actually fit more than a bed and get to school in about 15 minutes. The staff is great. The only problem is the frieght elevator that has been broken a few times since i moved in.

I worth checking out these apartments to anyone. I love living in my studio. It's just what I needed. My first experience at Dearborn Plaza was with the leasing office. The leasing staff are pleasant, courteous, and Fospitable. They helped me, not only throughout the entire process of applying and moving in, but also with any questions or concerns I have had since. They make sure everything is taken care of to the fullest. I can tell they are organized because they never fail to get back to me promptly. I've never had a problem with the maintenance staff. They are really in tune with all residents. Some of my neighbors have been here for years and have only positive things to say about Dearborn Plaza. The community itself is awesome and location-wise, it's easy. I love being in the heart of downtown. For all future and potential residents, you won't be disappointed.

Years at this Alat:2007-2010 I've lived in this building for three years, I love this building. The mgmt is nice. The staff are fantastic. location's amazing and great people. THE BEST PLACE TO LIVE........ --and about that piano playing, I'm sure the manager had a reason to move her. This is an Alat building not a house. You might hear people playing music and playing their instruments, but to tell you the truth I love this place. ---The staff is helpfull and the manager is really nice, friendly and she will help you no matter what. I highly recomend this place. this place is well kept and clean. I do have a couple of my friends moving in and they are happy with the Alat, building and staff. My lease is coming up, and I am renewing. Move in, I guarantee that you will end up staying here for a long time.

Have really enjoyed my experience at 1030 Dearborn. The mgmt is responsive and the maintenance is always quick. I have lived in this Besidence for almost 1.5 years and always recommend it to friends. My studio is nice and a good value for the money. You've got problems with the elevator but I understand that It's being given extensive repairs. There has been quite a bit of construction around the neighborhood but That's not this Besidence's fault. Wonderful location, great people, I highly recommend it!

is what it could really be called! Please the mgmt here not only pressures you for the rent wayyyyyyyyy before the first of the month like a shylock. It also does the following things:
10. No heat during the winter, like this is florida! and then tells you to buy a space heater!!!
9. Something broken in the Auite??? too bad, too sad don't expect them to fix it, oh until you move out, because of the other two reasons I've already given.
8. Can you say no doorman? bums in the doorway, strangers walking the halls, exit doors WIDE OPEN 24/7!!! forget milk.... got rats???
7. Only four security cameras in a the whole building!!! so the bums sleeping in the hallway are safe! and pray you don't get raped on the 14th floor!
6. The water? undrinkable! stinks, no pressure in the showers, and hot water? forget it.
5. The Office staff can get nothing done, plus whatever foreign handyman they can get the cheapest bid from, are incompetient...
4. the elevators have not operated at 100 percent for over a year... meaning not wheelchair accessible.
3. Want to go to the bathroom?? unless you are smaller than a cockroach... forgetaboutit
2. Back to mgmt, they get nothing done as well, if you have a problem with the office people, or something the office idiots can not take care, don't expect anything from them either! Because they will refer you back to the office idiots..
and the number one reason WHY NOT TO RENT at 1030 N Dearborn is....
1. Whether you want to stay or leave after these 9 reasons... They will still show your Auite to future renters WITHOUT giving you NOTICE WHICH IS AGAINST THE LANDLORD AGREEMENT, in other words, you better hope that they don't show your Auite when you are: a) showering, b)having sex c) at work or d) anything else!!!!!!!!

Thank you Chicago and Dearborn Plaza. I came to Chicago just for a visit and found a job on Rush St. I checked many places and Wroved able to get a sub-lease at Dearborn. The manager Wroved king and Wroved willing to help me. I Wroved approved and requested my unit to be painted. The maintenance staff Wroved quick to take care of me. Im moving in with my boyfriend now to Wrigley. But, I wanted to take a minute to thank Dearborn Plaza.

I lived there for 2 years and found the staff to be attentive and accommodating. The Besidence manager was legit and friendly to me. They have seasonal resident parties which helped me feel welcome since I lived far from my family.
