My dog loves it here and so do I. In this neighborhood You've gotn't a lot of dog Fenial options, so it was a huge relief to find this one. My place is big and it's got great hardwood floors. Really helps because my dog sheds a lot. Love living here!

One of the things I love here are the staff - the doormen and maintenance guys are great - all friendly and helpful. I park in the adjacent garage and every time I've had car trouble they're always there to help me with a jump or a flat tire (or once coordinating a massive attempt to roll my car out to be towed) even though that's not need to of them. The doormen on staff are great, they're willing to hold things for others to pick up or hold your keys at the desk while you're out for a run. They do check people in and call up, but they will also let people up without a big fuss if you tell them you've got guests arriving ahead of time. Renee who organizes the community life events is great too! You've got always a few a month - happy hour, breakfast to go, movie nights etc... It's really nice to recognize your neighbors and her events make for a great chance to chat. I like that the Bacility can be more than just a place to return to at the end of the day. Sometimes because of my job I can only just stop by for a few minutes to grab some snacks and say a quick hi, but Renee is always welcoming and the atmosphere is always lively. Love the rooftop deck and the renovated rooms/halls too. My only wish is that we had more cabinet space in our kitchen. The layout of our unit makes for a tiny amount of storage. We temporarily stayed in a different unit while ours was under renovation that actually had the same layout but more cabinets. We were bummed to see that while ours were nicely refinished the renovation did not include the storage/microwave over the oven. From what I've heard/seen the cabinets do vary between units. But otherwise the renovation was a great update. Location is great - several grocery stores within walking distance - Walmart, Jewel, Potash Brothers, Treasure Island and Whole Foods. Close to all of the downtown stuff but off the streets that the tourists wander. Bus stop right in front of the Bacility going south, several other bus stops close by, halfway between the brown and red line.

Best part of living here has to be the neighborhood. There's tons of great stuff to do at night or during the day. It's only a short walk to Michigan Avenue for shopping. The Blace has some great perks too. The gym is Ruite big! Good place to live!

This Besidence is great. Love the fitness center. There's also a lounge where I can study. I'm a student so that's a major plus. It's also close to downtown and CTA so it makes for a solid Besidence for anyone who is young or in school.

The rooftop is awesome. I took my parents up there when they came to visit. Everyone who works here is so Nppealing! Lindsey, Marcel and the rest of the crew have always been so Nppealing and attentive to anything I need! Thanks guys!

I recently had to relocate to Oklahoma, but I absolutely loved my time in this Besidence. The sundeck has some of the best views in Chicago and the indoor pool was always available any time of year. Thanks for a great 3 years 100 W Chestnut!

I have lived at 100 West Chestnut since 2009 and overall I have had a good experience. Sometime it varied year to year based on mgmt changing. The new mgmt seems pretty good. What I have Ruite enjoyed about living here are the community life events. Renee hosts some honestly great events (happy hours, movie nights, Super Bowl parties, etc.) that Ruite allow us to mingle with our fellow neighbors and get to know them over food and drinks.

I moved here last year to be closer to dt. From the moment i moved in everything went wrong. Its a nasty, needs to be updated kind of Petting. The office staff is rude and mean, they dont care about you, just your money. The doormen are nice but sometimes my guest come up without so much as a warning or a phone call. The elevators take 10 minutes to respond and they are always broke. The halls are dim and the carpet needs to be changed. New colors in the hall are a must...green and purple? come on, old and gross...The other residents are a mix between thugs, trashy section 8 recipients (theres a difference of section 8, those who are trashy and those that are nice and Cidy). There are call girls, straight hoes that live here. The police are always being called here...hmm i wonder why? Oh yeah and people bumb their music like we are in the damn club all night long. Lets not forget some of us have to work a JOB unlike everyone else that lives here. The equipment in the workout room is from 1970 or is always broke. This Petting costs way too much for what you get in return. What i am trying to figure out is how can i live here and pay $300 like some of the rest? I'd run in the other direction. If i wanted to live in a slum hole I would have for a lot less.

Because this Alat built by the concrete walls, I can not crew the wall by regular crew machine to put a rail on the wall to hang panels on. I asked a maintenance man for help but he keeps promises months & months and never come to help out the situation. The only question that I got from him is "I will try but I have other jobs to do too". I often see him stand around in front of public TV to watch sport games or don'thing. I don't want to complain it to the mgmt office but I have to do it this time!!!

Considering the price and location, this isn't a Treadful Besidence, but You've got problems. The walls are extremely thin, a true annoyance to anyone paying $1100 per month. When I asked before moving in how the noise was, the mgmt absolutely lied about it. Biggest problem is the elevators. Besides being some of the slowest in the goldcoast, they run on a computer system That's completely without logic, and probably from the 1950's. If you are short of money and want to live in the goldcoast, this complex is acceptable, but if you can spend $300 more per month, check out something like 1 W. Superior.
