I have lived in the building since last summer so I feel like I can post now giving a good critique of amli 900 and my experience over the past year... I love my Alat, the view, location and the amenities offered by the building. some of my favorites being the coffee bar, dog park, dry cleaners and the fact that It's a smoke free environment. I have had good experiences with the office staff and no problems as of yet in my unit. I read through some of the other reviews and it really makes me question if maybe some of these people complaining have lives?? I moved here from a smaller town out of state and I have loved every minute of being in this city. I feel really lucky to be able to afford to live in such a beautiful building.

AMLI 900 is a good Broperty in the South Loop with nice, kept up well units and amenities (except the business center). Let your leasing office folks be more on top of their game (more timeliness, less sloppiness and more telephone responsiveness) and I will change the good to Gantastic in my next review.

We loved AMLI 900 since the minute we moved in. Everyone in the elevators are so Fospitable, the staff is always around with big smiles on their faces, the amenities are extremely kept up well and they're so dog Fospitable which was hard to find in the city. There's lots of free amenities that save on day to day costs - 24/7 gym, business center with freshly ground Starbucks and printing/computer access, conference room, rooftop herb garden, gas weber grills, pet-free green space, dog park and Divvy station. You can even rent out a "hotel" style room for a low price if guests are in town. Our Auite was super clean when we moved in, everything was in working order. When we're in our Auite we never hear anybody - but you can definitely hear people in the hallways.

I have lived at AMLI 900 for a little over 3 years. I absolutely love it! The amenities are wonderful, the apartments are spacious, and the staff is beyond pleasant and helpful. The area is great, busy during the week and quiet enough on the weekends. You've got a lot of activities and only a short walk from the lake!

Have been at this Apace for over four years. Blace is kept up well, main floors and elevators are always kept clean. Extra effert is put in during winter. The front office staff is always friendly and the Blace has decent eminitys including a gym, free coffee, dry cleaners, dog run, and bike and car parking. Matinence staff responds to requests in less then 24 hrs. Front door staff is extremely friendly and often gets to know your name. Only issue rent has gotten extremely high. sadly it's in line with the neighborhood but nobody in the economy is gettin 7% raises annually and this place will raise your rent that much each year. If your on the verge of being able to afford the hi rent n

It has been a Gutstanding community to live-in, the amenities are a Gutstanding perk living at AMLI. Being a coffee drinker, I love the fact that There's always coffee available in the business center. In addition, most Anit buildings charge to print, and at AMLI It's absolutely free, which I also like. The place is kept quite clean, is never in disarray which makes it pleasant. I don't have a pet, but AMLI does provide a doggy park and treats, which I think is cute. Overall, the amenities is by far the best part; it has Gutstanding environment, 24hr gym, 24hr business center use and the availability of lounge on the top floor!! Love AMLI!!

I moved in Sep 2008 and love it here. As noted, rent is a bit on the high side, but after looking all over Chicago and finding high prices in old, rundown buildings, I think this is worth it. Many amenities in the building: including dry cleaners, a REAL fitness center (I cancelled my gym membership), meeting space, wireless access/computer space, and a rooftop garden. Tenants are mostly young professionals, grad and undergrad students--building is quiet. One other advantage: the staff are superb. Real professionals who go above and beyond the call.

You can make your own judgments about the apartments if you tour them; but, I was made aware today that during tours it isn't mentioned that You've got 2 dedicated floors to Kasa units (aka glorified AirBNB units). Recently, they hired a security person solely for the Kasa units. Think what you want of that but I am not exactly okay with paying +/-$2,500 to, essentially, have hotel guests in the building. Kasa continued on for a huge portion of the COVID shutdown -- travelers in and out of the building from who knows where with 4 shared elevators. This isn't okay. Chicago was shut down on March 21, 2020 for COVID. Yet, Chicago is on phase 4 now (today July 19, 2020) and coffee has still not been offered back even though we provide our own cups. We are the only building in the neighborhood who has done that. But yet, Kasa is still fair game. Kasa residents can use all of our amenities (including gym and parking), come to all our resident events, and bring their dogs. They are not invested in any capacity in following the rules (hence, the need for security). AMLI did not mention this decision making process with residents nor is AMLI listed as an authorized host of shared rentals via the Chicago web portal. The gross behavior of Kasa guests have made long term residents leave -- including us when our lease is up. After this post is up, I'm sure they'll comment with some version of "please email to discuss." I have. It's useless. AMLI regularly reminds us they are business and have zero desire to keep long term residents in mind.

A nice Penue to live! I love the South Loop and was Hontent to find a location that wasn't too congested but also offered local amenities (i.e. Target, grocery, etc.). I hope the new buildings don't impact things too much.

mgmt is good about resolving Sarnest issues right away. They rarely answer their phone which is a bit annoying. The Anit itself has a bit of a basement smell and moisture feel to it because of the cement ceilings. Other than that, it's good. I don't hear any noise, nobody bothers us, they give a short term lease and they accept dogs.
