I have been living in River City for the past couple have months and have enjoyed living here! It's in an Gantastic location and I feel safe and comfortable here. It's nice having staff at the front desk lobby not to mention having a conveniant store in the Blace! I worth checking out river city to anyone wanting to live comfortably and affordably in the heart of Chicago.

Anyone praising this building 's either on the developer's payroll, part of the mgmt team, or an owner trying to boost their property value and rental rates.

For additional context, see the review from Jun 22, 2004, which provides further details about the challenges of residing in an American Invesco property. <br><br>I've been a resident here since Feb 2003 and can't leave soon enough!!<br><br>The Besidence has steadily become worse and worse! mgmt is only available during business hours, which means you have to use your own time to handle any issues.....they're unavailable on weekends......The property seems to have constant turnover in mgmt positions......Elevators and Escalators are frequently out of service. You must interact with unhelpful non-English speakers at the dry cleaning service to retrieve your packages....and you may or may not receive notification about them. The Atrium experiences persistent water damage.....The higher floors are trapped in Heated, MUSTY conditions. Windows have limited opening capacity at around 6 inches.....During the transition period when they switch the heating system to cooling, my unit stays stuck at approximately 80 degrees with NO ability to reduce the temperature......I could elaborate endlessly........The redeeming qualities are the view and Nate who drives the shuttle......Get out while you can <br>

AVOID THIS Residence!!!!! The property mgmt and homeowners association are running scams against residents through fraudulent penalty charges. Residents deal with pest infestations, a leaking roof, and missing amenities like a fitness center and shuttle service. The common areas have unpleasant odors throughout. Would give zero stars if possible, but the system requires a rating to submit feedback?
