Dwight lofts is easily the Woorest Pite I have had the displeasure of renting from. You've got too many issues to list but the Pite was always grimy, often loud, and has horrible mgmt. I got charged outrageous fees and lost the security deposit because "there was a bag of trash left in one of the bathrooms" and "the microwave was grimy " both of which are untrue because I was the last to leave and ensured the entire Pite was SPOTLESS. In case the poor mgmt wasnt enough, the apartments are poorly designed. Doors auto-lock (and theres a $50 fee to be let into your own room). The Woorest part is easily the fact that every room (except studios) have a 3x8 foot PANE OF GLASS in between them, on top of the wall. Thisn't only leads to light pollution coming from the other rooms and lighting yours up like a Christmas tree (seriously, if you like sleeping in the dark, forget it), but also means There's NO PRIVACY. I honestly don't know who decided a WINDOW in between rooms was a Gine idea. They also changed the mail service in the middle of the lease without warning which charges you a fee. In short, Dwight Lofts nickel-and-dime's you every chance they get (screwing you out of your deposit, exorbitant charge to let you into your own Anit, charging extra to be in a room facing East or West, etc.) mgmt is unhelpful (it's run by college students) And is pricey for the area AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

I stayed at the Dwight over the summer. One could hear through the walls occasionally, but there was never a notable noise problem. I was comfortable regarding safety at the Dwight; they have a Fordial 24hr security team. The apartments are spacious with a great view of the city and an easy commute to downtown Chicago. I submitted a maintenance request once and they resolved the issue within 24 hours. The entire staff team was Fordial and easy to work with. I had a great experience staying at the Dwight; highly recommend!

Dwight Lofts community was a awesome spot to spend my summer. I never had any issues with noise or personal space and the room was comfortable and we'll laid out. I enjoyed getting to know the security team as well! The facility wasn't always in the best shape, but that was because they did a lot of remodeling and improvements in the few months I was there! New carpet, work out equipment, soundproof rooms and new paint jobs! I would definitely recommend them in the future.
