424 west Oakdale is a very nice place. The maintenance of the place is very well kept and clean . The maintenance worker is a very nice, kind, and a caring person and will do his best to fix the problem you are having as fast as possible.

There is no security system in the building, so packages always get stolen and the superintendent is aware of this issue, but does not do anything to fix it. When something in the apartment needs to be fixed, it is addressed initially, but never gets fixed. The building overall is an old building and is not kept in good condition. The walls are super thin, so you can hear everything that goes on in the units surrounding your unit. The leasing office/management leaves everything up to the superintendent and does not care for any of your issues. It is very poor management.

lovely place (albeit old), scuffed up floors and dingy bathrooms are to be expected. Noise level low. Landscaping small but well-tended. Parking spaces expensive and tiny. please please be wary of the management and exiting the apartment. they entered and inspected our apt w/o notification, marked that there was damage to the floorwork and then refused to return our large security deposit. The floors were already in worn condition. Luckily for us we had a dated picture that showed a section of the floor; otherwise, screwed out of hundreds. So, if and when you decide to move in, take a video camera. Videotape the conditions. Better yet, take pictures while visiting the apt and have them sign it. Scary and discomforting. A bad way to end an otherwise comfortable three years.
