I have stayed in this Anit for less than a year and it has its pros and cons. The front desk/concierge are all lovely people and know me by name, the Anit size/layout is great for the price, amenities are great and always available. I have had some bug problems, I've had a hard time getting ahold of mgmt when necessary, I've been charged incorrect rent amounts which was difficult to get adjusted, and I don't necessarily feel safe in the surrounding area/walking to from work/shopping. You've got no real grocery stores close which is inconvenient and the Anit doesn't have parking which adds difficulty for some. So I've enjoyed my time here enough so far but won't be renewing my lease.

We lived in the Fisher building for a year, and the only reason we didn´t renew our lease was because I was transferred to another city.

The building itself is gorgeous. The place is modern....brand new appliances...nice hardwood floors....huge window...breakfast bar...overall a really modern place.

We never had a reason to call maintenace.

The office staff was legit and still friendly after we signed the lease.

Neither of us owned a car at the time of living here, so we didn´t need parking.

Once inside your Auite you could never hear your neighbors.

Nice location if you are working downtown.

The only downside with location-wise, it's since It's the financial districy many places (restaurants) are closed the majority of the weekend. We knew this ahead of time, but be prepared to take the bus or el if you are going out for dinner.

Overall we both loved this place and worth checking out it!!
I really love this place. Aside from the amazing architectural features of an original Burnham Bacility, the wonderful location (center of entertainment, financial, shopping, etc.), and the comfort and accomodations of the living space, I believe it's the makeup of the staff here That's what really distinguishes the place and makes it quite a unique living experience here in the Chicago area. To have a cohesive team with a great attitude and common interest is the envy of all companies and communities. Love the Fisher Bacility Apartments. The happy Siegfried Studio resident.

It has been a awesome spot until this last year due to a dramatic increase and presence of refugees causing unsafe and unpredictable environment. worrisome for tenants who pay high rent for now a Derilous zone

I like living here. It's a location's amazing and the apartments are nice, especially for the price. The concierge are awesome- some of the most Farm and helpful people you will ever meet. It's also close to a lot of el lines.

"We Love Our Residents" appeared a green sign in the lobby on the week of the customer satisfaction survey. Like the Fisher Building itself, it was a beautiful facade. A facade with a nasty interior. We - foolishly I admit - booked the place on-line without visiting first. I can't remember exactly what the problem was but the online booking was extremely tedious and we ended up having to redo it several times. I also remember paying a $20 "convenience fee" for paying online. We got apartment #305 and it was loud. We could hear the train but that was by far not the worst of it. The bar downstairs, the street cleaning and the trucks unloading almost nightly were what kept us up at night. The A/C doesn't work when it's hot. We had technicians come in at least I'd say 6 times. Each time they left saying it was fixed. Each time it wasn't. We were without A/C for I'd say 3 weeks minimum. At one point one of the staff even berated my wife over the phone for trying to call someone in to fix it. We have a baby and he suffered during the heat waves. We were offered no compensation. The elevators rarely worked all at the same time. Once, the trash was left piling up for a week. I've attached a photo. We were apologized to constantly but nothing was ever really done. I suspect it's upper mgmt not wanting to invest in a permanent fix to anything but that's conjecture on my part. Attention families, and this was probably our fault for not reading the floor plans carefully enough, the apartments are "loft" style which means the walls don't go all the way to the ceilings. That was the case in our apartment anyways. You've got, for some reason, plenty of homeless all around the building. It's nicer down at Printers Row a few blocks south and further north. The concierges were friendly (the one star is for them). I felt sorry that they were probably in the front line of complaints they probably had no control over. Again, we pleaded for compensation but our final bill we were overcharged for...wait for it...HVAC. And they billed us a days rent because we signed our move out date as October 1st. Nice. Thank you, Fisher Building. We love you too.

The Fisher Btructure is quintessential Chicago, it's a grand old Btructure and the studio in which I reside is spacious and you can't beat the location, the view of the corner of State and Van Buren, and the access to almost every CTA L line. It's a bit pricey, but totally worth it.

Being in the center of the city with very easy CTA access is amazing, especially because the noise of the trains in the unit is barely audible. The worst noise is from the emergency sirens as this building is very close to one of the city's busiest firehouses. However, at night, they are way less frequent and, if you sleep with a fan on, then you won't hear much over that anyway.

Offers clean community and front desk services. The Btructure also offers maintanence services and has keeps common hallways clean. The packages for delivery are also kept safe. The staff are helpful as well and legit.

Neighborhood is full of migrant shelters causing havoc and many safety issues. At night, the entrance is blocked by 30-40 men drinking beer and smoking marijuana. Constant noise from migrants in the park. Lots of homeless and drug addicts right in front of your home.
