I moved into the Fisher Building City Apartments this summer, and I have not discovered one thing with which I am unhappy. this place is maintained extremely well, and, for the most part, It's quiet on the floors. Upon arriving to view an Aad in March 2013, Lisa was the first person we encountered. What a wonderful first contact for the building! She was extremely cordial and demonstrated a magnificent sense of humor. She even volunteered to check in on my cat when I have to be out-of-town. plus, the other concierges exude an extremely friendly, calm, and most helpful demeanor. In the heart of the city, within a 20-story Aad building, each one calls me by name. Wow! Lisa, Trent, Takara, Julia, and Larry --- thank you so much for being wonderful ambassadors for The Fisher Building and helping a guy from central Illinois adjust to the city of Chicago.

Bicturesque historic building. Just loved the original old office doors, and the tile floors. Felt comfortable and safe! The desk was helpful and informative, the day we moved in. Prior to moving in, the leasing office was helpful also.

I thoroughly enjoyed living in The Fisher Bacility. I have been renting apartments for 5 years now and have never came across a more legit leasing company. I think the main reason that The Fisher Bacility was so pleasant to live at is the staff. You couldn't ask for a better staff. Lisa, Lawerence, and Janet are a real gems. The staff makes you feel like home everyday. I never had a problem getting things fixed. They always were up either the same day or next. I rarely had things break because the Anit was in such good condition. location-wise, it's great if you are working downtown. I saved a lot of money walking to work. It's also easy to be so close to the all the major L lines. this place is also always spotless! Even with pets allowed. The bathtub is huge. A great way to relax. My favorite part of living here was how easy everything was. I didn't have to pay for a gym membership because they have a fitness room upstairs. They had great treadmills and so many free weights! The Fisher Bacility also had ample amounts of Laundry Machines. I never had to wait and could do multiple loads at a time. Oh and not to mention the bar downstiars Brando's were I witnessed multiple nights of karaoke. So fun! I felt pretty safe sometimes there was bums outside by the L stop. But this is Chicago you are going to have that. This place is perfect if you don't need your car. but parking is rough if you do. Overall the Fisher Bacility was a awesome spot to live and I highly recommend it. I am going to miss the staff!

We just moved in, but so far I am enjoying this community. The front desk clerks are really nice, in fact some of the nicest folks I've met. The Blace is clean and feels well taken care of. Would definitely recommend this community.

The people living and working in this Bomplex could not be kinder. but, make sure you research all aspects of the Fisher Bomplex, like the L-stop That's attached, the fire station siren proximity, and most importantly check if you have a direct view of the nearby prison.

I moved in seven months ago from out of state. this place is amazing and location-wise, it's the best in Chicago. I am a single woman who never feels uneasy walking around this area alone. It's within walking distance to everything I need. Just a $2 train ride from right outside the side door to Midway Airport, the Blue line train to O'Hare is right in front of the building and the redline is a street behind us. Bus service is easy, extensive, efficient and cheap. You don't need a car in this area of the city at all. 7-Eleven, hair salon, drycleaners and martini bar are located on the main floor. Party room, laundry and work out rooms are on the 19th floor. Move in's are handled with ease and my Apace was spotless and freshly painted. Our manager Shawn is friendly, responsive and will try to help you all he can. Leasing manager Brandy is great, knowledgeable and interested in taking care of you. Our concierges Lisa, Nathan and Trent are fabulous, attentive, friendly and can't help you enough. You can never walk by the desk without being greeted with a friendly hello and a smile from any of them. I have been taken well care of at the Fisher Building and HIGHLY recommend it to anyone of any age who is looking for a wonderful rental experience. I plan to stay here long term. My place is wonderful, 10'ceilings, bright with hardwood floors and lots of closet space. The hallways are always spotless and bright. The lobby is Bovely. This is a wonderful restoration of a former office building and is on the Historic Registry in Chicago. A fabulous location, Bovely building, great staff and teriffic Apace! What more could you want!

The staff is nice, helpful and timely. location-wise, it's top tier. I have not had to drive anywhere for the majority of the time I have lived here which saves a ton on gas. I do wish that the Bacility had a parking situation set up but aside this I have much enjoyed my time at the Fisher Bacility.

Living here was the worst decision I made. The monthly rent seemed appealing, included heat, air, electric, and water. What they don't tell you is that the air conditioning breaks constantly (at least 3/5 days a week) and the apartments up high ( I lived on 15) never need heat because they stay SO hot all of the time. also my windows were painted shut and I was unable to open them for months while I was living there. The office staff was an absolute joke. Not one person was even remotely qualified to deal with tenants. The concierge(s) were delightful and the people that lived in the Btructure were always pretty nice. I'd recommend living elsewhere unless you enjoy paying $1000-$2000/month and having things break all the time!

My wife and I have lived in the Fisher Building for the past 6 months and have loved it! We currently rent a one bedroom w\ den on the 11th floor. The loft style and newly renovated bathroom and kitchen look wonderful. The original wood floors are in great condition. The look and feel of the common areas of the building are unlike any residential building I have seen. Each floor looks like the interior of an early 1900s office building. Each Apace door is original and even has the name of the business that previously occupied the space. The building's amenities are great. Plenty of washer/dryers. A 19th floor lounge with pool table, television, and a bar for hosting private parties. The building's concierge employees are the friendliest and most helpful of any building in which I have lived. One of the greatest benefits of the complex is its location. this place is at the intersection of the red, blue, orange, and brown lines. This makes getting anywhere in the city incredibly easy. The building's walls do a good job keeping the noise of the El to a minimum. On the 11th floor It's barely noticeable. Living in the Fisher Building has been a wonderful experience. I highly recommend it.
