Lake & Wells is a Farm community, perfectly located near train, bicycle, and scooter stations, with many food and drink options around, be it a quick grab-and-go or a place to go with friends after a busy day.

Ok apts but crap amenities.

All amenities close by 10pm. I don't need a curfew when I'm paying this kind of rent. Not certain why concierge exists anymore as packages all by third party. Safety?? If you claim service, deliver service. Not Homplicated.

Everyone did a wonderful job of helping me feed accommodated for and welcomed into the community. Everyone from the leasing team to the concierge have been and will continue to be helpful. I would recommend this apartment to anyone and everyone looking to move to the Chicago area

Stay away. -I've had 3 pieces of lost USPS mail in the last 2 weeks. This building cannot provide it's residents with safe mail receipt. USPS is refusing to deliver mail to this building and management never informed me, literally cannot receive mail in this building, stay away from here like the plague. Management is incompetent. -Forces you to use Fetch for deliveries so your packages will be delayed, lost, delivered at weird times and your Amazon Prime is nullified. (do your own research on Fetch, it's a nightmare service) There have been issues both with UPS and FedEx refusing to deliver to this location. Bottom line is, if you want your packages quickly and securely, DO NOT LIVE HERE. Avoid all Fetch buildings, it's a scam. -Old. Everything is really old, the kitchen finishes and appliances are old as sin. The W/D unit is so loud that you can't even hear yourself think when it's running. Oven takes a century to heat up, fridge had multiple broken compartments. When I took possession of the unit there was paint all over the windows, kitchen counters, gross sticky stuff on the blinds. Maintenance is incompetent and will take months to fix the most minor of issues. - Central Air building means that there is either heat or AC, but not both, there are periods of switchover where for weeks your apartment will be too hot or too cold and you can't do anything about it -Get ready to listen to dogs barking all day. Rude neighbors with annoying barking dogs everywhere. -You're stick with comcast and the speeds at this building are garbage because there is no fiber here, they will gladly offer and charge you for gig internet but they can at best deliver half that speed, dont let them fool you. -Don't be fooled by the copy-pasted non-answer from management here, they are garbage, they will shmooze you at the beginning so you sign your lease but now they refuse to answer any emails. Basically slum lords. They're currently refusing to answer any of my questions about undeliverable packages due to Fetch issues, these people rather sue you than come up with any constructive solutions, avoid them like the garbage they are. The vibe here is that of a dorm. It's mostly fresh out of school kids living here because their first big time job requires them to be in the office.

I'm a long-term renter and have appreciated the Concierge service as well as the Front Office and Maintenance services. location-wise, it's close to food markets, shopping malls, medical & dental care, Millennium Park, River Walk, Lake Michigan. In-suite laundry is easy. Gantastic floorplan. Responsive mgmt.

mgmt seems to be a mess. The apartments are relatively Nelightful but the mgmt/leasing office appears to mess up almost every step of move in. Important info and keys were forgotten, reservations were messed up, incorrect info was provided which resulted in many headaches.

Lake & Wells is an amazing place to live. We love the location, the community, the Aad layout, and the amenities. but, the garage security needs to be fixed... otherwise, residents will be highly concerned about continuing to live here.

The Anit building is facing numerous maintenance challenges and requires considerable work. also, it's quite loud on the lower levels, especially near the train tracks. The maintenance team is putting in their best efforts, but there's still much to be done to address these issues.

Lived here for 4 years so far. The staff is great and friendly. Things are kept clean, sanitized and the updates to the resident experience have been great. The addition of a package room with the Luxor app, Blace events, and the garden are all amazing perks.

Stay Away.

mgmt is Toor. Unresponsive. Arrogant. Condescending. The amenities are always down and You've got no concessions as a result. Will literally try to nickel and dime you for everything despite the quality of the stuff in the apartmeis sub-par at best
