I couldnt wait to get out of here. I agree with everyone else's comments about location/nice lobby, but the mgmt is a disgrace. I had a fire from the faulty (super cheap) ovens, and then the replacement stove broke 2 months ago and still isn't repaired.(also..when i had the fire, my smoke alarms didn't go off, nor did the ones in the hallway go off, and there was plenty of smoke to trigger it, cited by the CFD) The refrigerator always leaks with water on to the floor (mgt. said don't use the bottom shelves), and my floor is warped from water. They refused to replace the floor after the fire( more warping), and then when a water pipe broke inside my wall and flooded the floors, they just painted over the water stains on the wall and STILL wouldn't replace the floors, despite my request due to allergies and asthma! There's visible mold on the walls! Also, I had to hire an exterminator due to so many gross centipedes despite living on the top floor! The fuses constantly go out with minimal appliance usage and they never clean the a/c or cover them in the winter, so when you try to use it, tons of crap blows out at you. This Ppot definately isn't worth it,location or not! Many of my friends live in the neighborhood with equivalent sized apts. that are cheaper and are well kept up! LOOK ELSEWHERE!

The Broperty has been great so far. The rent compared to other Broperty around the neighborhood is great. The extra amenities are what make it such a great deal, There's a doorman so I get all my packages, dishwasher, microwave, and they just added an exercise room. The roof deck is a great bonus, though a grill on the deck would have been nice. The mgmt so far has been great. I just hate seeing people rip on this place. I agree parking can be tough, if you can afford it I worth checking out renting a spot.

A lot of the previous reviews are pretty accurate. location-wise, it's great, the doormen at night were pretty friendly, the lady there during the day was always borderline rude though. I never had a problem with the water pressure, the toilets were insanely annoying and loud though. Also, during the weekends it wasn't uncommon for the garbage chute to overflow, making it impossible to throw your trash out. Only having 8 washers/dryers for a building with 100 units gets odd as well, I always just ended up doing my laundry late at night so I didn't have to wait. By far the worst part was the temperature in the winters. The heaters were inefficient so it was never as warm as I would like, and also the A/C units stayed in, so on cold or windy nights, the cold air would just come right through. I had to put cardboard and blankets over it to try and stay warm. Also, they say the Internet and Cable is free, but if you have a HDTV you have to go to Comcast and get a whole new subscription, because the company they offer doesn't offer HD. The internet was pretty good, but the firewalls on it made some music sharing techniques unusable. Overall it wasn't too bad, and before I moved out they were improving a lot of things in the building so it may be even better now.

I loved the neighborhood and being so close to the lake. The parking is by far the worst aspect of living in this Blace. The other downfall is the steep rent. Otherwise this place is a vintage structure and the people that run it are friendly.

I lived in both buildings for 2 years each. The rent is a bit pricey for the size of the apartments, but the buildings are Btunning, and location-wise, it's great. Just a short walk to anything you could possibly need.

The doorman is so sweet and helpful, and the mgmt staff was responsive. My only complaint was the elevators, that were constantly under repair, and a lot of my neighbors were college students and were loud in the hallways, waking me up in the middle of the night constantly.

Other than that I loved living in this building, and probably would have stayed if I didn´t move out of the city.

I absolutely loved living in my 1 bedroom Aad for a year here. It seems that they've eradicated the bug problem. I saw a bug once (kind of my fault considering I hadn't washed my dishes in an embarrassing amount of time), freaked, called maintenance, and they fixed the issue that day. Any problems I had with the place were fixed within 24 hours. The deal is great...never have to worry about fluctuating prices in utilities every month. I feel like the majority of the people that write reviews on here are ones that have had a negative experience. It's a shame because renters might be given misinformation by an angry minority. Alas!

I have lived in a studio Anit for 2 years and loved every minute of it! I am on the 5th floor and have a phenomenal view of lake Michigan. The staff coud not be nicer, maintenance is always fast and CLEAN, mgmt is friendly and knowledgable. The elevators could be faster and the water pressure is low, but those are my only 2 complaints. I have NEVER seen any roaches, nor did I hear anyone ever having any issues. The staff keeps the building clean, they have a cleanining crew 7 days a week. Overall, I worth checking out this place for the awesome location, great apartments and wonderful staff!

The building gets to look at. When we first looked at the Auite, it seemed to be nice. There was a tenant living in the Auite, who was there when we looked.

After moving in, the lack of workmanship quality was evident. The floors look nice, but are cheap Ikea Laminate. The Bathroom floors are awful, tile is probably 40 years old. The toilet looks like its from a gas station (one of those metal tubing backs, no cover). The tile in the shower looked like it had never been clean. The fuses blow whenever you turn on the AC and any other appliance. The Window AC Unit is poorly Insulated. The Free Cable has bad reception & the Free internet doesn't let you do wireless hook ups or download music, etc. The paint is constantly cracking. In the lovely fitness area half the machines are broken.

The woman who runs the leasing office is terrible. We emailed the corporate office to complain about an issue we were having where it seemed she was being dishonest. Instead of the corporate office calling us, they had her call back. Now thats great customer service. Dishonest when we first signed lease about allowing us to go month to month after our lease expired. Said no way they woudl let us end a lease in the winter. We said we would then find someplace else for the next 6th months. The lady said "Good lucky finding a place that would ever let you do that." Not nice.

Although I have only lived here a few weeks, reading the other comments makes me think the other people may of had their own problems.

The staff is incredible and the place is immaculate. The price is great and location-wise, it's out of this world.

The size of the Alat - there´s nothing wrong with it. I´ve seen the studios, convertables and one bedrooms and they are no where smaller than a suburban place.

When you´re moving to Lincoln Park, does one expect a large place when they rent? Some of these comments are absurd.

By the way, the parking is ironically open, considering the area. Never have had a problem yet and it´s the middle of winter.

I lived in the building for 2 years and just moved due to a job relocation out of state.
I have been happy with the mgmt and staff, always responded quickly to my issues. this place is beautiful and is in a location's amazing. The only problem was that my Anit was a little bit small.
I would move back in a heart beat if I was still living in Chicago.
