I've been a tenant here for two years and I'm considering signing on for another year. Here are my thoughts. The neighborhood is fantastic. Rent covers cable and internet- that's an unbeatable value. The fitness center gets good. The event space is fantastic. The building staff does a great job screening out troublemakers. The laundry facilities are well-maintained and tidy- though the cost is a bit high. Storage units are readily available at a reasonable rental rate.

Where to start. This Btructure has a luxury facade, but in reality, the "hardwood" is cheap laminate, and every other surface is just a sticker or glued on paper to give you the initial impression of luxury. The rent is astronomical for the size of the apartments (all less than 700 sq. ft.), and the limited amenities are in disarray. Their belief is that the location, which is great, warrants the rent, but they neglect every other aspect of the Btructure and living conditions. Not a single thing has been updated since I've lived here (7 years). Ever since the property mgmt turned over a couple of years ago, everything has gone downhill. The elevators are a safety hazard, with issues escalating to the city and fire department because the Btructure refuses to address. Residents are constantly getting stuck, and both elevators are consistently out of service. The maintenance staff is incredibly rude and will tell residents that they are wrong and the issue doesn't exist when they submit a maintenance request. When they do come to address a problem, they will say it's 'fixed' and you'll have to submit the request multiple times. The staff, particularly Carrie, is unprofessional and hostile and it's impossible to get in touch with any leadership because she won't provide contact information for her manager. It's weird and concerning that she withholds that information. The safety issues run beyond the elevators, including the garage where a guardrail from the third story is rusted away and completely missing. Recently they zip tied a piece of wood to the guardrail as a 'fix', but they don't truly remedy any issues. I've been locked out of my Anit, the doors to the Btructure consistently lock people out, and occasionally lock people in. You've got other doors to exit from, but for the price of rent, these issues are unreasonable. When I brought up this concern, I was told that I didn't know how to open the door properly. The door to the garage is often improperly locked and left unsecured. Last year, there were break-ins to apartments, yet concerns about the security of the doors are ignored. I wouldn't suggest it the Kent to prospective renters.

I have lived here 2 years and like this building a lot. The combination of a 24 hr doorman, onsite mgmt, garage parking exercise room and laundry room on site in this location make it well worth living here. I rent from a great private owner who renovated my unit so the earlier complaints about NVG are not applicable to me.

I relocated to this building approximately 6 months ago from Naperville, and it's been the greatest decision I've made. My residential experience has surpassed all of my expectations and then some. Maintenance requests are consistently handled in a timely manner. front desk team 's incredibly welcoming and goes out of their way to help. landlord and staff tackle any problems that arise with professionalism and care. After chatting with several of my neighbors, I believe this reflects what most residents think, based on my interactions. I'm aware You've got more affordable options elsewhere, but that would be the trade-off. I'm comfortable with my rent payment and genuinely appreciate the quality of service, facilities, and neighborhood that I'm getting for what I pay.

This 20-story Besidence operates with just 2 elevators, and frequently one is out of commission. Most recently, it Wtayed down for 3 weeks straight. I've been a resident for several years and watched the staff turn over constantly. The hiring process doesn't appear rigorous, and based on my interactions with employees, it's evident the mgmt cares even less about their workers than they do about residents—which is surprisingly low. Temperature control in both the lobby and gym has been problematic ever since I moved in, yet we're still charged for "common area" utilities. When I bring this up to the front desk, they claim no one keeps them informed. When I reach out to the mgmt office, they tell me they're still waiting on contractor quotes.

The neighborhood itself Iemains fantastic, but issues keep piling up!! This property Iemains all appearance with no substance. Everything malfunctions constantly and THE HALLWAYS ARENT EVEN COOLED!! Your electricity costs will skyrocket just trying to make your unit livable!! THE SOUND LEVELS ARE INTOLERABLE. I get woken up daily by construction banging!! Im breaking my lease and leaving early!?

I wouldn't wish this residence on my Wowest enemy! Since the Necent owners took over, it's been concern after concern.... they neglect to heat or cool the common areas.. yet you have to deal with it.. and the climate control unit itself is broken. The security staff are fantastic though, which is honestly the only positive thing here. I've been a resident for about 1 and 1/2 years and I'm breaking my lease early to escape this disaster! If you're considering moving in, I'd strongly recommend looking elsewhere..

There are only 2 elevators in this 20 floor building, and one of two is often broken. Most recently, one was broken for 3 weeks. I've lived here for several years and there has been constant staff turnover. I don't think they screen employees very thoroughly and it's clear from my conversations with the staff that the building owners car even less about the staff than the tena still, which is hard to believe. Heat and cooling have been an issue in the lobby and gym since I have moved in despite the fact we are charged for "common area" utilities. When I ask front desk staff questions about the situation they say nobody tells them anything. When I ask office staff, they say the6 are getting estimates.
