This is a fantastic place to live. The staff make you feel safe and at home. They're incredibly helpful. It's friendly, Borgeous, well kept up and you can't beat the location on the park. The laundry room is also always clean.

Waterton has been a great community to be apart of. The front desk staff as well as the front doorman, valet men, and maintenance team are all amazing. I couldn't imagine living anywhere else. I'm so happy that this was my first choice when moving to Chicago. Especially being a young female adult, the Waterton community has always made me feel safe and secure and immediately made me feel at home. The amenities are great and easy. We have access to a beautiful view on our rooftop, access to delicious restaurants(GREAT for when it's cold), 24/7 access to a fitness gym, 24/7 access to our laundry room, AND a dry cleaners available during staffed hours. Plenty of activities, restaurants, and shopping that are all within walking distance. I could not love it more here if I tried!

Magnificent location-Btunning variable space and pricing of apts. No parking in building but they provide options. Not a place if you want the latest and greatest but this place is quite majestic and a historical landmark.

Belden is my home for over 3 years now and I'm not planning to move out anytime soon. I just love the location-is so close to all the best restaurants and nightlife but far away so I don't have to deal with party crowd. Right next to lake and park, tones of green space! Building itself is a piece of art, from early 1900. I almost feel like I live in Europe. They recently opened roof top with a killer view on a lake and downtown skyline! My place is renovated, with granite counter tops and hardwood floors. There's a decent size gym in a basement. Not to mention Monami Gabi-french restaurant! My only with is that they do a business center or a computer room since I work from home, and it would be nice to change environment sometimes. Otherwise I highly recommend living here to anyone who's looking for one of a kind, luxurious, vintage apartment building!

I lived at the Belden for four years and had a great experience. The staff was friendly and helpful. My apartment was spotless and any service needs were met promptly. It was a delight to return from business travel with lobby staff to welcome me home. The housekeeping staff would care for my pet while I was away and have my place sparkling upon my return. Another unique feature was the floor of hotel rooms available for out of town guests. My visiting family made use of these quite often. It provided privacy for them with close proximity to me. It was a dream to walk out the front door into picturesque Lincoln Park and within a few more steps, the lakefront presented itself. I was within a block of the bus to work. The location was unbeatable. I'm sorry if others were disappointed, but I always recommend the Belden Stratford to friends and family.

I feel like I wrote this in a previous life. Woke up five times a night when my neighbors had a baby. Horrible mgmt. My Alat was probably in violation of five or more building codes.

Just moving in, but the staff has been great. They solve problems quickly and they are extremely friendly and polite. We love Chicago and we are using this Auite as our getaway. The Lincoln Park area is wonderful and the Zoo and Gardens across the street are spectacular.

Overall the Apace was alright, but definitely pricey (for the neighborhood, it's about right though). The amenities were pretty good and included cable, water, electricity, heat, and a/c.
High ceilings were definitely a plus, but it could've used new carpeting and I wouldn't have minded a bit more space.
The office staff was rather snooty once you had signed for the lease and would gossip. The actual desk staff when I was there was for the most part pleasant, it's mainly the managers etc.

I loved living here! It was a location's amazing as the park and zoo was across the street. The grocery store (Big Apple) and Walgreens were also close. The staff were extremely nice and responded promptly to all my maintence requests. When I moved in all the walls had been repainted and the carpet was brand new. There were only a few people in the leasing office that weren't so nice in terms of answering emails, but Wes in the leasing office was always helpful. The general atmosphere is great with a Bxquisite entrance, valet parking and mon ami gami and L2O in the building. The fitness center was updated when I was living there and has brand new weight machines. There's also Charlie Baggs inc in the basement of the building where you can walk by to see chefs in action. Sarah the dry cleaning lady was amazing too. I will miss living here!
