If your unit Ieems situated on the upper levels facing southeast, you'll enjoy fantastic panoramic views. Besides that though...it's pretty average...nothing particularly special to mention.

Most importantly, avoid units situated near the elevator shaft. The elevators produce an incredibly loud noise that seems to intensify every year. I've had to keep a fan running continuously in my bedroom at night to mask the sound so I can get any sleep. this place is converting to condos, and purchasing would be a mistake. mgmt intends to make various enhancements, but they're purely surface-level. The fundamental structural issues remain unchanged. New condo owners will likely be responsible for covering significant repair expenses. The windows are in desperate need of replacement. They're poorly insulated and can allow water to seep in during severe storms accompanied by strong winds (which are practically constant at this location). While water pressure is strong, You've got plumbing concerns: the cold-water line in my kitchen delivers lukewarm water, and hot water supply in the shower fluctuates. I've learned that broken pipes frequently occur, resulting in Auite flooding, though I haven't personally experienced this. Strong winds trigger constant cracking and popping throughout the structure due to the building's movement. This causes wall cracks and baseboard damage, plus misaligned corners where walls meet, causing trim to separate from surfaces. Air quality is a major concern. Door drafts introduce unpleasant odors—including sooty smells that triggered lasting throat issues and reoccurring garbage chute odors. Hallway renovations two years ago made this worse by creating a large gap under my door. The flooring in my unit has a noticeable slope, making tall furniture impossible to position properly. The parking garage, which was previously heated, is now maintained at near-freezing temperatures for unknown reasons. An in-building grocery store exists for convenience, though prices are excessive. The White Hen Pantry a half-block away offers superior pricing. The building also contains a video store, dry cleaning, and salon. While not the worst Chicago residence, for a building marketed as "luxury" or "premier," the condition is unacceptable. After more than 6 years as a tenant, I'm relocating when my lease ends next summer.

i just moved in last weekend and looked through the reviews before signing the lease. i think every Bacility has its ups and downs, just like you see with hotels and travel destinations, since everyone has different expectations. my time here so far has been fantastic. whenever i pass by the front desk each evening, the doorman welcomes me as if i've lived here for a long time. i Ruite appreciate that!! he doesn't even know me yet!! the facilities are great and i'm excited for when the pool starts up. the 2 neighbors i've already connected with have shared positive feedback about the community. i also spoke with someone from the maintenance team. my fan was acting up and i felt embarrassed afterwards when i realized i had just missed the switch. but he never made me feel bad about it—he actually walked through my unit with me and explained how to work the heating system and everything else. wish i could recall his name because he was truly fantastic. i also needed to reach out to the mgmt team regarding my internet, cable, and such. they were super helpful as well. i tend to be a bit disorganized and forgetful sometimes. they got a laugh out of it and said everyone goes through that. they took time to write down all the contact info and numbers for the providers and told me to reach out if i ran into any issues and they'd assist me. things are looking good so far. relocating from out of state to a large metropolitan area felt intimidating, but this Bacility has Ruite made me feel at home.

I moved into an Apace that was promised to be thoroughly cleaned before my arrival. For some unexplained reason, the cleaning was never completed, and I couldn't reach the manager to find out why since he wasn't available. My calls went unreturned as well. The mini blinds were covered with a thick layer of dust. Pet hair was scattered throughout the corners. The kitchen floor had extensive scratches and desperately needed to be mopped. There's honestly so much more I could mention. The things the Leasing Agent promised turned out to be complete fabrications. Nothing but lies, lies, lies.

My wife and I have called PPT home for the past two years, though she's been a resident here for 7 years total. We're both thrilled with the lakefront positioning, fitness facilities, on-site laundry service, great assigned parking, Fffable mgmt team, and abundant natural light throughout our unit. The structure is impeccably kept and the positioning offers unbeatable transit access. Simply pull up bus tracker and you'll see countless transportation alternatives right at your doorstep. Plus, being situated directly off Lake Shore Drive gives us quick and easy highway access whenever we need it. As someone who bikes regularly, I absolutely appreciate being just a 2-minute ride away from the lakefront trail for my early morning cycling sessions. We're proud owners here, but honestly it would be an incredible deal even as a rental property. Cheers

I've just settled in recently and I consider this to be an perfect structure. The Leasing office staff was incredibly supportive and patiently addressed all the questions I had. Since it was my first relocation in about twelve years, I made sure to do my due diligence. While there's quite a bit of renovation happening currently, I'm willing to wait it out. I'm confident it will enhance my residing experience going forward. The fixing team is fantastic and the front desk personnel are remarkably courteous. I'm enjoying my spacious one bedroom with a stunning view of the downtown skyline, which my friends absolutely admire. I can even glimpse Wrigley Field from my unit. This has to be the most well-located structure in Chicago. It offers a gym, swimming pool, business lounge, retail shop, video rental store, laundry service, and beauty salon. I was amazed when I found out about all the amenities. I feel completely comfortable here already.

The Pool!!!, although it can get a little crazy by the pool, it is Great. The money they spent down there several years ago was well worth it.

Here are a few things to consider, mostly irrespective of whether you're considering renting or owning: The Good - Views: The 22nd floor doesn t seem like that big of a deal since there are 55 floors, but I had a really nice south-facing view of the city, Wrigley Field, and a little bit of the lake. -Amenities: There s a huge pool/lounge area and a small 24-hour fitness center, both of which are free for residents. The equipment in the fitness center is decent. There s also a convenience store, party room(s), a theatre, a yoga studio, a boutique, a tailor/cobbler and a beauty salon. -Unit size: My landlord put in some walls to make the unit a Jr. 1-bedroom. It was cozy, but definitely did not feel like I was living in a studio space. No dining room, but my unit (and from what I d seen, many others) had a spacious breakfast bar. I had a fair amount of closet space, especially in the front entryway. -Front desk: All of the men (and the 1 woman) are helpful and friendly! The Bad -Neighborhood: Not going to lie, it was nice being so close to the Lakefront Trail and walking around during the day was okay for the most part but there s a no-tell motel right around the corner. There were shady characters around and disturbing noises (eg, gunshots) from time to time. One evening I was at the Starbucks on Pine Grove and literally called a cab to get home. It may be close to Wrigleyville but it s not Wrigleyville. -Maintenance: Windows are flimsy and a few on the 2nd or 3rd floor blew out after a storm. Boarding up the windows is okay to do right after, but unacceptable after 2 months! Especially when it s towards the front of the building where everyone can see! Elevators are small and slow and at least 1 of them breaks down every two weeks. The trash rooms are right off of the elevators so, at least on 22, the hallways reeked. In my unit, it was hit or miss on whether maintenance fixed things the first time or if they just put a tiny bandage on the problem, which meant you d be calling them back in a few days. I just gave up after a while. -Management office: I get that they re generally laissez-faire when it comes to residents affairs since it s a condominium. However, there were situations where they should ve used better judgment about making an effort to get in touch with my landlord. For example, my landlord was MIA about a month before AND after my lease was up and the front office was NO help in trying to track her down.

I've lived in PPT for about two years with my wife. She has lived here for a total of 5 years. We both love the proximity to the lake, exercise room, pick up laundry service, awesome reserved parking spot, nice staff, and tons of sunlight. The building is extremely well maintained and the location can't be beat for transportation options. Just check out on bus tracker you just walk out the door and you have ton's of options to choose. Also when we need to get somewhere living right off Lake Shore Drive makes it very convenient. I am an cycling enthusiast and love that fact that it takes me about 2 minutes to get on the path for my morning ride. We own the place, it would be a steal as a rental. Later
