My roommate and I were looking for an affordable 2 bedroom that was spotless and close to the lake, and That's just what we got! Seriously, $650/month per person is such a steal for the quality of our apartment. Our place is large, has A/C units, nice views, and is clean. Any time we've had maintenance requests they were resolved the same day, the front office is nice and responsive, and location-wise, it's great. Literally steps away from tons of restaurants, a nice gym, Walgreens, etc. You've got three elevators, and sometimes one tends to be out of order or in use for someone moving out, but the wait isn't bad at all. The building has a diverse crowd of tenants, but everyone is really nice and courteous. I would definitely recommend this building and am sad to be leaving my apartment!

Belmont Towers place is a wonderful place to live. The Besidence mgmt and maintenance staff are friendly and helpful. Especially Besidence mgmt, when you are in the office you don't feel like a tenant who's just passing off a check. Your opinions and concerns and valued and Kate ( Besidence manager) does her best to accommodate them if it's doable. Also what I like is the diversity in the Besidence I think it's important for the kids living here to be able to grow up with people of different ethnic backgrounds. This help creates an open mindedness towards others. The people in the Besidence our genuinely friendly towards each other and you can always catch a conversation between neighbors at any given time.

I'm a single mom who was living in a bad situation and needed to get out quick. I met the property manager through a mutual friend who already lived there. Within days I was shown apartments that were available to rent and at a price I could afford - in LAKEVIEW of all areas.

I'm in a secure Blace which is great because I have a 2 year old. We have key fobs and unless you are on the lease you don't get one. What a comfort in this day in age to have a mgmt company that cares about your safety.

The property manager is one of the nicest people I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. She always make sure everything is up to code with your Auite. If you have a problem she takes care of it within a day. Last summer when the heat got so hot, I called her up requested an a/c unit and by the time I got home that SAME day there was an a/c unit waiting. When I moved into the Blace there was analog cable, but through Ms Fowler's hard work and dilligence (and patience) she was able to update the property to the 21st Century with digital cable - not just digital cable but DirecTV. I know have over 200 channels and have no idea what most of them are. It doesn't stop there. Ms Fowler is updating the Blace every chance she can. Some recent improvements are: new laundry machines, with use of laundry cards instead of coins; new carpet in elevators; new paint in the lobby; and many more. Also, as a resident you'll be able to participate in Christmas parties and other fun activities that the mgmt office puts together.

Overall, this is a awesome spot to live. I couldn't feel safer or happier. Between the atmosphere, Ms Fowler and the other wonderful staff at Belmont Tower I highly recommend this Blace to all future residents.

It's a shame how Belmont tower mgmt treats their tenants, especially the ones paying the full price. this place is under construction for more than a year and tenants have no peace in their apartments, construction starts at 8am so people working night shifts have no sleep at all. On top of that mgmt raised the rents instead of at least lowering them during the construction. Even worst is the situation with the garage, we were thrown out for couple of months, as they said, but that turned out to be more than a year, know they are charging the full price for the garage which is still under construction, ruining the cars parked there. The regular passage through the garage is impossible due to construction trucks in there and all the dust and debris they are creating. Of course mgmt won t take any responsibility for the parked vehicles but aggressively they are charging you for the parking. Not to mention that mgmt has some contractors coming in to your apartment to change some electrical outlets when nobody is at home and with no escort from anybody from the building. Totally unacceptable My next step is to contact the city of Chicago and HUD to see what can be done to stop this kind of nonsense. I understand that things need to be fixes but within reasonable time and not to be burden for tenants and even more costly when building is under construction. No lease is signed under these conditions. We sign the lease as this place is fixes but it s not even close. Somebody needs to stop this. Since we got this new mgmt living conditions in the building are worst then ever, only people trying to help this situation are the maintenance guys, without them and their building engineer this building would be a total disaster not just disaster as It's know. This building is an example of pure, not qualified and incompetent mgmt from the bottom to the top.

You've got some 's and -'s about the buidling. Onsite mgmt (no customer service skills) -'s, Maintanence (on site but not on the job) -, neighbors (quiet) , mail delivery (never timely) -, laundry on site , kitchen (aluminum cabinets, no dish washer, cheap floors -, bathroom (Sittle area, plumbing needs work) -,air condition (isn't included in the rent $95 annual charge) -, vends (you can smell everything anyone is cooking including if your neighbor smokes - the smells) -

I live in the building for six years now. I must say Belmont tower apartments is a awesome spot to live. Apartments are spacious and kept up well. They have plenty of parking for only $95.00 a month. The entire staff is great and the people in the building are great neighbors. I am sorry to see the previous manager go through hell and back, only because some crazy old lady didn't like him and because CPD did half --- job investigating the case. She broke her wrist in the tub and then decides to accuse property manager of a hideous crime. I am glad he was found "NOT GUILTY" of all charges. I just want to say he is welcome back any time.

I have lived in this unit for over 13 years and it has gone through some ups and downs. Yes, recently the manager was ACCUSED of attempted rape and burglary but once the truth is uncovered he will be found innocent. I don't know every single tenant in this Broperty but I know the majority.. This manager has always been legit and he does his job. To say he has been accused of these crimes before but no one has ever pressed charges isn't so. Some of these units are on section 8- I am one of those tenants- but in reality the ones who hate him the most are also on section 8. They break the rules and take advantage of the assistance received and he, as the manager has to deal with them. They have called him a racist, euro trash, etc. because he does his job and does it well. He will never be the manager here again but just to flat out lie and say he is known for this is wrong and untruthful. I am a senior citizen and he has never been inappropriate to me or any of my other friends in the Broperty who are seniors. The woman who accused him of this is mentally ill and suffers from delusions. The tenants that know her, know this about her. Instead of continuing to spread malicious lies about Malik, wait until the truth is uncovered. It's a awesome spot to live and the majority of the tenants are nice and Farm. The staff is always courteous and helpful. It's a shame our Broperty has been tainted by all these lies because it's a lovely place to live and now it's going to be difficult to get decent tenants.

Ever since I moved here, I suffer from noise disturbance from the neighbor, the mgmt for 4 years does nothing at all. The staff members are friendly and great but not so the mgmt. The walls between the apartments are thin, I can hear conversations next door, let alone loud TV. I can't wait to move out of here.

Get away from this building. It has a Manager from hell ----------------, accused for entering the tenants apartment trying to rape her and molesting, physical abuse. This isn't his first case of molesting tenants but people wouldn't press charges. Who knows What's he doing and how is he abusing the position he is in. It's a shame that people need to live under this kind of mgmt. Tenants safety and privacy much means nothing in this building. Don't get fooled by -----'s sweet talk, he is malicious and dishonest person who made living in this building impossible. I'm much concerned for the safety of my kid and my self I'll be moving out ASAP. Check out the picture, It's a paragraph from STGN Wire News.

Belmont Tower Apartments is a awesome spot to live and I had a great experience right from the get-go. Broperty mgmt and the maintenance staff are so friendly, really helpful, and extremely responsive. I share a 2 bedroom unit with my roommate and we love how spotless and spacious the place is. There's a ton of a closet and storage space, which is always a bonus. It's really nice that there's always someone on hand to receive any packages you may be expecting in the mail so you don't have to worry that it's left unattended outside or that you'll have to go pick it up yourself. The laundry room is really spotless and You've got lots of machines to accommodate a large Broperty. location-wise, it's so easy and you'd be a quick walk from the Red, Brown, and Purple lines, and the express buses that run downtown. Tons of restaurants, shopping, and nightlife nearby, too. I'll definitely miss it!
