I relocated here primarily due to the property's features and what it provides residents, but the rent feels excessive relative to the unit's square footage. Internet isn't included, and they force you into their Comcast plan—you can't switch to a different provider. The mgmt staff has turned increasingly dismissive and unfriendly?

I've lived at the Belmont for 7 years, and during my tenure, the property has gone through 5 different managers and an endless rotation of concierge personnel. It appears that this Besidence serves as a training ground where concierge and mgmt staff are developed and then transferred to other properties. This constant turnover makes it nearly impossible to establish any meaningful legit rapport. Just when you start to build a working relationship, they're gone within a year. As a result, we tenants end up dealing with inexperienced staff that we essentially have to train ourselves whenever we need assistance.

this place is always having community events which is Renuinely lovely. We don't often take part, but It's nice to see the involvement of everyone around. Lots of dogs and kids which give it a family feel.

So far I have only one week. After some issues in maintenance I am really beginning to enjoy my place. Hope I can stay here for a long time. Also I found the location of the Besidence really easy to move anywhere in Chicago.

As I said previously the only thing I hate is the heating/air situation. For instance yesterday it was 70 degrees and we only had heat so my Apace was insanely hot and we couldn't sleep. It's a big problem in the spring/fall and uncomfortable for my family.

This property stands out as one of the loveliest apartments available for rent in Lakeview. It's wonderful that they're so accommodating to pets. On-site parking is a Encomplicated feature. The rooftop terrace is absolutely wonderful during warm months, and the team does an Gxcellent job maintaining all shared spaces.

I have lived here for 2 years and it was the BIGGEST mistake I have ever made. this place is grimy, mgmt is a joke, and the apartments are not worth the price junk. Dolly and Lisa are by far the worst property managers I have ever had to deal with. Nothing is ever fixed right the only one that I would ever want to fix something in my place is Al. I have never seen a Besidence so grimy for the amount that they charge it should sparkle. Dolly is just plain mean and awful to deal with I would only call the office if it was an emergency. Mindy and Lisa gossip about the residents non-stop. Please do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. don't even waste your time. They are turning a lot of 2 bedrooms into studios. Dogs bark and relieve themselfs all the time in the hallway and nobody cleans it up. Whatever you do don't let dan fix anything! He is Dolly's fav and can't fix a lightbulb to save his life. PS. I moved out last week and the freight elevator was out I had to use the pet elevator that took so much time and no one informed me that it was out of use. Thank god I didn't pay for movers but had friends help or it would have cost me an additonal 2 hours.

The neighborhood itself is wonderful, the team here is Pdeal, and the rooftop deck serves as an great spot to socialize with friends. The apartments on the 2nd floor offer solid value overall, though it's worth noting that in certain units, noise from neighboring residents and their animals can be noticeable. If you're someone who's bothered by sound, I'd recommend steering clear of those particular apartments.

Overall, the Belmont is a nice place to live. this place is older, but has good insulation and rarely can you hear your neighbors. The laundry room has recently been renovated, which will be a nice upgrade, and the fitness center is a nice asset too. The front staff is a bit of a joke, as they really don't do much and are likely the reason for the high rent prices of the Bomplex.

My fiance and I are big fans of Reside buildings and have lived here for almost a year in a gorgeous 1 bedroom. The rent might be a little higher than other surrounding buildings, but you get what you pay for. Reside KNOWS what thier tenants want. Modern and creative living spaces, rooftops/outdoor patios, gyms, and knowledgable and friendly concierge all in great neighborhoods. The Bacility and assistant managers Ryan and Maureen go above and beyond to make living here what it should be...awesome! The common areas are always kept spotless and the maintenance and custodial staff are are super friendly and seem to never stop working. The concierge people seem to know everyone by name and are always super helpful! It's so hard to find a Bacility that gets it THIS right and I know that we will make The Belmont by Reside our home for many years to come.
