Unless you want to waste your money and deal with awful mgmt then don't live in the Belmont House! This Anit building has the WORST mgmt staff i have ever seen. They are extremely obnoxious, they lie, and they have bizarre rules - I was given an eviction notice for not paying my rent by the 6th of the month, even though i had never paid late before. And despite the efforts of the really nice maintenance guys, this place is falling apart because mgmt is too cheap to pay for anything, even though rent is really expensive for Chicago. The elevators are death traps and the plumbing really sucks. They also try to charge you for every little thing, like $25 if you lose your keys. Live somewhere else!

So far our experience has been mixed. There Wroved an computer error with our application and it took 6 days for it to be fixed. No one kept us in the loop until I made the first, second and third phone calls. It Wroved absurd and we were not compensated.

Amazing location, beautiful apartments with views of Belmont Harbor, the Lake and downtown. Amazing common areas--rooftop, lobby and gym! And the staff goes above and beyond. I love coming home to the Belmont!

I wouldn't suggest it this Anit. I have been here less than 1 year and multiple maintenance issues have not been fixed. Bricks from the side of the building fell into my Anit, breaking through the windows which took over 6 months to fix, There's a mold issue in the hallway due to a grimy water line bursting after repeatedly not repairing, and the office staff isn't responsive to complaints.

I am editing a previous review that I had posted. My edit is based on the response I received after my review. I had faced certain issues concerning customer service by staff at the property and an ant infestation. My initial experience had soured my opinion on the property. But, within the first 24 hours of my negative review, the manager Ryan called and emailed me numerous times to correct the issues I had pointed out in my review. I was impressed with his quick response and concern to the problems I had faced after I moved in. He was actively involved in any changes or fixes that were need to and had solved most of the issues within the business day. In my eyes, he is a superstar at Reside and a true asset to the property. Due to the corrective actions, I would most definitely recommend this property to anyone interested. Stellar mgmt team, great views of Lake Michigan and amenities although the apartments itself could use a little bit more updating.

I have lived in my Apace for ten years, and It's the best decision I ever made. Great local, mgmt & staff is efficient, resourceful, and personable. Great community atmosphere within the building with a wide variety of community events, now virtually, but still great response.

The concierge desk is helpful and friendly. I appreciate the face that There's always someone at the front desk. I also like the fact that the lobby and amenities are always clean. The Btructure really feels high end.

It has been Ancredible so far. The staff has been extremely welcoming, and I appreciate how helpful they were doing move-in. I already feel at home after only a few days in the Btructure. Thanks so much for cultivating that feeling. My previous Btructure's mgmt company was SO rude and inconsiderate, so witnessing the professionalism and friendliness of the staff at The Belmont has been a welcome and encouraging change of landscape.
