I spent a lot of time looking in Lakeview for the best Anit that would fit my needs. I knew that my days of simply looking were over when I met Lola Smith, leasing agent for Reside Living. I had questions, actually a ton of questions. She was extremely patient with me and spent as much time as necessary until I was fully satisfied. Her follow through was perfect. When she said she would get back to me with an answer it was always completed before she said it would be. Since I moved in, we see each other regularly and she always greets me using my name. She has confirmed my confidence in picking the best place to live in Lakeview. Lola is a positive person and has an great sense of humor. She has the rare gift of being honest, personable and knowledgeable. If you are looking for an Anit, check out The Belmont and ask for LOLA!!!

At first it was AMAZING--we lived on the 8th floor and it was perfect, but we wanted to upgrade to a bigger Aad--which meant more rent. We moved to the 7th floor in a corner unit and it has been nothing but one thing after another with neighbors and noise and tenants not cleaning up after themselves in the common areas. Formal complaints have been made, we are being told something is being done about it. We trust that It's.

solid Bacility in a location's amazing! Staff is friendly and courteous, Bacility is spotless and safe. Laundry facility is on point! The gym and rooftop are small, but tidy and useful. My only complaints would be the tenants are not so friendly, out of ten good mornings I will probably only get one in return and nine grimy looks (urban rudeness). Also, I was disappointed in the $100 rent hike for a studio apt after only a year here.

the publicity for the house is fantastic...
the ballroom they gush about? well, it's now the parking garage.
location-wise, it's nice, especially if you have to work/attend school downtown.
the rent is outrageous, especially for the size of the apartments (i've seen 4 different floor plans).
if you just walk a few blocks further 'inland' on belmont, You've got several reasonable Alat buildings with Farm managers.
while it felt good to say i lived in the belmont house, i highly reccommend looking elsewhere.

p.s. parking is way not worth the price, but parking in the neighborhood is a nightmare.

I've lived at the Belmont House for over five years. I've enjoyed calling it home but things have changed. A new company has taken over the building with hopes of modernizing the building and turning it into a "cool" place to call home. The whole point of my review is my rent is going up for no logical reason and after living in the building for over five years and paying over 100,000 in rent, the mgmt has no tact or respect for the residents who spend a significant amount of cash to live here. I've been told all the apartments are getting upgraded with wood flooring, new kitchens, new bathrooms, etc. That sounds lovely. My aparment has no upgrades and as far as I know You've got no set plans to start any. I'm not going to pay more in rent to live through a construction site. I don't feel like it's my responsibility to pay more in rent to activate the start date for these improvements. I refuse to pay more in rent before these upgrades are installed and useable. Until that happends they are worth nothing...and It's unacceptable to expect renters to open their wallets to help cover the managements home improvement kick durning one of the worst possible economic times ever. Any competant managment company would shelve any construction plans and focus on keeping the rents as low as possible in order to compete with neighboring buildings.I understand rent increases but this building is already incredibly high for what It's. I have a sour tast in my mouth because I know if I move, more than likly the leasing office will rent my apartment for quite possibly less than what I pay now as an incentive rate. This is incredibly discouraging considering length of time I've lived in the building. This is a game and I'm not playing.

Great experience - clean, courteous staff. Apartments are in great shape. this place is clean, safe, and is cared for well. Maintenance requests are processed almost immediately. Btructure is quiet, particularly because It's on a busy intersection.

When I was searching for apartments in Chicago, I was looking for a place close to Lake Shore Trail and also needed to have covered parking. I stumbled across Belmont Reside by chance, but after living here it's tough to imagine living any place else. The valet parking is a service I didn't know I needed until I moved. All the attendants know my car and have it prepared for me every morning when I need it to get into work. The concierge staff has bent over backwards to help with issues with my electronic key and a package that went "missing". The roof top has Ahenomenal views of the Harbor and is a awesome spot to meet people when grilling up top during the summer. The Alat and amenities come at an incredible value compared to others I researched.

great staff and amenities. mgmt is attentive, front door staff always greets you with a smile, and maintenance is quick to respond. It's an older Blace yet the units are rather large (modern open floor plans + high ceilings). The roof deck is absolutely gorgeous.

This review is to recognize Philip who works at the concierge desk - Philip is no doubt the BEST part about living at the Belmont. Over the last year Philip has never failed to make my day, I always look forward to seeing his friendly smile. Philip goes above and beyond the typical concierge, he truly cares to know each and every one of his tenants and makes sure we all feel safe and welcomed here at the Belmont. The infectious positive energy that Philip brings each and every day is something so special and one of the very best things about living at the Belmont. We love you Philip! Thank you for all that you do! & THANK YOU to all of the other wonderful staff members who take such great care of the building and its residents, the Belmont would not be the same without such a wonderful team of people. From the valet parking team, to the maintenance team, and everyone in between, you are getting the best at the Belmont. One more person I cant forget about - RILEY! If you are interested in living at the Belmont I recommend working with Riley, one of the Belmonts best leasing agents!
