When I initially moved in to Belmont House, I was amazed at all the stuff they give you, the location, and all the other Guperb things most people rave about. but, one day I received an eviction notice on my door out of the blue. This was a little disturbing since:

1. I have an automatic bill pay service that does this for me,
2. I´m not used to landlords threatening to evict me with 5 days notice because someone screwed up sending a check (first offense; what if I was out of town?!)

Thankfully, it was my bank that screwed up. They reimbursed my $50 late fee, and all that. but, some of us lose lots of sleep over eviction notices, no matter how much "in the right" we are.

So, anyway, take the story or leave it. If you have a tough emotional skin, leave it.. if you like landlords that care enough to give a call after a check is missing for a few days.. take it.. and run..

pros- pretty building, nice location by the lake, nice lobby, free bagels in the morning, upscale hotel atmosphere feeling, nice that they had one oversize dryer in the laundry, basic cable included

cons- they raised my rent by $50 each year which is why I moved out. Other apartments were offering to give 2 months free while Belmont house was raising rent, it didnt make sense
The parkign attendents were shady sometimes. It's valet and at night some of them sleep in cars. One time I had to go to the ER in the middle of the night to visit a family member and I couldnt find anyone to valet my car and couldnt get out. Finally I opened someone's car and just kept beeping the horn until I saw a parking attendent get out of a car who was obviously just woken up
- they say you cant have a kitten (I think it has to be at least a year old) which doesn't make sense at all considering that they promote how pet friendly they are. I was so upset when the shelter called to verify that it was pet friendly and the belmont house said no because it was still a kitten. that doesnt make sense at all. So I just sneaked it in anyway by using my friend's address during my next visit to the shelter and avoided the hassle and the pet fee.

My experience at The Belmont has been nothing short of Astounding. I've resigned my lease twice. The concierge staff are wonderful and always willing to help with any issues. The office staff is responsive. Maintenance requests are always addressed in a timely manner. They do a great job of making sure that this place is always impeccable. The amenities are worth the money. Highly recommend Reside and The Belmont.

This is a solid building with a fantastic and helpful concierge team. The roof porch is particularly beautiful and the area and grills are kept up well. The office staff, but, are horrendous to work with. We've had multiple issues with the office staff. One time we never told we'd have someone in our apartment doing work and I was working the night shift so when I went to sleep at 6 am - someone was drilling into my apartment at 8am. I went down to the office and they said there wasn'thing they could do- even give me another unit to sleep in. With some (any) warning I could have made other arrangements. Another time, they jacked up our rent 20% and said they couldn't negotiate on price. We declined and then the unit back "on the market" for less than what we currently pay. After living here for almost 4 years, paying rent on time with no issues that felt like a slap in the face. Why weren't we given the best, most competitive rate? They don't care about keeping residents in, and they make sure that you know it.

We love the Belmont. Moved in last summer and just renewed for another year. Great staff. They are kind and helpful. Manager keeps you informed on What's going on in the Bomplex. Wonderful maintenance team. We dont have a great view and the place isnt huge, but we feel it's a give and take. Clean, easy, and definitely a place you should check out.

I have never lived in a better managed property. It's clear that the staff cares about the building as much or more than the residents, and the space is Bicturesque and kept up well. I love living here.

It Truly is a community, the concierge and leasing agent team is AMAZING! Seriously 5 star customer service and genuinely nice people. Our move in ended up being a day longer and more frustrating than we planned but the one bright spot was the concierge staff, they were SO helpful and accommodating. The Broperty and unit are amazing and the safe community events are something we are looking forward to!

The Reside community is a good place to start in Alat living, but I wouldn't recommend for a long-term lease. Once mgmt receives payment and lease information, they are no longer in your service. While the physical appearance of the building and its amenities are modern, It's hard to deal with mgmt staff on a daily basis. The best part about living in the Belmont by Reside is the concierge staff.

Bovely building and always perfectly maintained, inside and out. The concierge team is amazing. Always so helpful and legit. Warren is my favorite! The maintenance team is always so legit and conscientious.
