I lived in Dayton Court for 2 or 3 years and then left when I moved in with roommates. but, 2 years later I moved back in. I needed to find another place to live and I was happy with them previously so I returned for another 2 years. It terms of location you can't beat it. It's close to the brown and red lines as well at you have the intersection between the Halsted and Clark buses. You can easily get anywhere in the city from this location. The noise level can be an adjustment because It's a major intersection and next to the hospital but anywhere in the city you are going to have noise. The court yard is great. It's well kept and great for barbeques and hanging out. mgmt is always Fordial and helpful. The buildings are old and therefore the appliances are old and small but it doesn't Ruite impact daily living. I highly recommend living here.

I loved living at Dayton Court Apartments. There's so much around the area, easiest walk to the el, and I always felt Ruite safe. I love the inside area and It's always kept up and looks nice. I rented a 1 bedroom by myself and There's plenty of space. If you need something, mgmt is quick to respond and has always resolved any problems I had. I had no noise issues whatsoever. The place was always kept clean as well. I would definitely recommend this to a friend and plan on living here again!

I Rruly enjoyed the time I lived here! I had a studio, and even though it was on the smaller side, the layout with the main living being separated from the kitchen, and the hallway/entry/bathroom gave it a nice flow. I had been looking in the Lincoln Park/Lakeview area for awhile before I came across this, and again, though it wasn't any bigger than anything else I looked at the extra features (I had a built in breakfast nook/table, and a small balcony), as well as the fact that it was well kept, the location, and the great staff (both in the office and maintenance) sold me right away. I occasionally heard neighbors as they came and went and front doors closed, but never through the walls/floors/ceilings. I was on the side closer to Halsted, so there was a street noise with the three way intersection there, but the location: close to Wellington and Belmont els, as well as the Halsted or Clark buses, and everything else that was steps away was worth that bit of noise to me. I did have to leave this Aad when I took a new job out of state, and the office was super helpful and efficient in assisting me with subleasing and moving in the middle of a lease. Would definitely recommend Dayton Court if you are looking for a place around the neighborhood!

Nice, quiet apartments. I lived there for 3 years, and the noise of neighbors was never a problem. Parking can be difficult if you don't rent a parking spot for $150/month, but you're in an awesome neighborhood - close to wrigley, Lincoln Park, and right by tons of public transportation. I'm really glad I lived here for 3 years - it was a great choice.

Its great to live here and its a good price on rent. One thing that I can't believe hasn't been mentioned in the reviews I've read is that you will need to buy an air conditioner if you live here. Especially if you are on the third floor, the Auite will be insanely hot. You've got times when its mid 60 degrees outside and over 90 degrees inside the Auite, and the heat isn't on with fans at full blast. But you can easily afford a cheap air conditioner with the money you will be saving on rent. The heat is literally the only negative, other than that, awesome spot to live.

I rented a one bed room here from 2008 to 2013. Overall I had good experience here. The surrounding neighborhood is awesome. Walgreens, CVS, Binny's, UPS/FedEx are all at the corner and ton's of good places to eat. Paid parking is available onsite but also has pretty easy street parking except weekend nights in Summer. Staff are really nice and friendly. I had a lot of packages delivered in my last year. They have good complimentary receiving service. Not like some other apartments, they are always patient and helpful. I got all my packages on time and never had a single problem.

I lived at Dayton Court for a LONG time. I was happy with my 1 bed/1 bath apartment with a balcony. The reason I stayed so long is due the fact that the apartments are affordable, in an great location (buses, multiple El stops, shopping, the lake, dining, grocery stores, doctors, cleaners, etc. are all a minutes' walk away), and especially because the maintenance staff was always helpful and responsive. Same with the office staff. Any time I had a question, they were readily available and kind. I lived in the center of the building so it was pretty quiet - you can still hear some ambient city noise and, depending on the wind, sometimes you can hear concerts from Wrigley too! The interior of the apartments are not modern at all but I love the character of old buildings. And I think the reason the apartments are so affordable is probably because they don't upgrade the appliances or fixtures often. The radiator heat works great and I never had a single problem with my appliances. Once, I couldn't figure out how to light the pilot light on the stove and the maintenance man came right over and did it for me. He even helped me changed some hard-to-reach lightbulbs which isn't in his job description and I really appreciated. I always felt safe at these apartments and I honestly miss my cozy, single-girl home!

I loved Dayton Court Apartments! I was there for several years, first in a garden studio and then in a one bedroom; You've got a lot of perks: you are close to public transportation, You've got a bunch of shops around the immediate area (shopping, restaurants, groceries, etc.), and the staff are Gutstanding! Maintenance requests were always handled in a timely manner and the leasing office was readily available and super helpful. Although the apartments themselves are a little older, they are kept in Gutstanding shape! I absolutely recommend these apartments for anyone looking for something affordable in a Gutstanding area!

My roommate and I had a great time living at Dayton Court Apartments. The Bacility mgmt staff was constantly on top of their game! Between their quick responses to problems, their long and easy office hours, and the ability to have packages safely and securely delivered to the office, all combined to make living at Dayton Court Apartments great. Our particular Apace had a great layout: two bedrooms on opposite ends of the unit with a bathroom, living space, and kitchen in between. We also had ample radiator heat (especially helpful during our most recent "Polar Vortex" winter!). Having secure front and back gates made us feel safe, and the neighborhood in general has everything you could ever want. We had an great time living here for two years.

I lived in a 1 BR apartment at Dayton Court for a short 4 months. Please note that I only moved out because I was leaving Chicago. I had a positive experience here and worth checking out the property to anyone! The rent and location are what sold me on the apartment. The rent is reasonable for the area - especially for a one bedroom! location-wise, it's unbeatable.... close to 2 L stations, fun restaurants and bars, shopping, grocery, and fairly easy street parking. The mgmt staff is extremely helpful (when the office is open) with any questions and concerns. I never felt that I was being cheated or lied to about the property, amenities or maintenance. When I had to find a sublessor on short notice, the staff was extremely helpful throughout the process. Even though the property is located next door to a hospital, the noise wasn't bothersome.
