NO LONGER Raymond Associates. Now LotusPoint Properties The Bomplex was purchased by a new owner/landlord several month ago. He's already made many new improvements, including totally updating several kitchens with new cabinets, granite countertops, new bathrooms and more! It really shows how he cares for his property and his tenants. I love living here, not that he's taken over.

I was a resident in this structure for roughly two years. It was dreadful. Sleep was nearly impossible because of constant sound emanating from neighboring units. The landlords were unresponsive to requests. They would eventually perform *some* work, but they never actually resolved the sound concern (paper-thin ceilings lacking any sound dampening). Tenants throughout the complex had lingering upkeep issues for extended periods. Solemn hazards like a decaying balcony went unfixed despite requests. When my husband visited the office in person to request help, they dismissed him and posted a notice prohibiting tenants from coming to the rental office with grievances! Beyond the bad sound insulation, the structure was positioned extremely close to two adjacent structures, allowing me to hear sound from the neighboring unit complex's televisions. As if that weren't sufficient sound, the elevator malfunctioned regularly during our stay and would "slam" repeatedly throughout the night. plus, Raymond and Associates deducted from our security deposit, claiming it was due to dust left on the flooring. They hadn't even cleaned the unit before we moved in. The most disheartening aspect is this landlord houses many senior citizens residing in these deplorable circumstances with an ownership that appears indifferent to tenant welfare and fixated solely on profit. I repeatedly encountered elderly residents unable to access their homes when the elevator was out of service. This landlord should be ashamed! Do yourself a favor and absolutely don't rent from Raymond and Associates. You'll be making the right choice by selecting a different landlord.
