Bad communication, management is dismissive and lacks help in assistance. I wouldn’t recommend to get a lease here. I asked for help with basic moving details and they have inconvenienced me multiple times. The wife doesn’t answer the phone and it pointless and the husband is more useless.

I lived here for 3 years. The last year someone kept knocking on my door at 6-8am in the morning like once a week. I never opened the door because I'm a woman and I lived by myself. I told the building managers so many times but all they said was "Call me next time it happens again". I called them when someone knocked on my door and by the time they got there, that person was long gone. I felt unsafe living in that building so I moved out even though I liked the layout of the room and the location.

I am happy with this Auite. To start off, the neighborhood is beautiful. It's located in the Bryn Mawr Historic District so There's generally good upkeep of the neighborhood sidewalks, streets, etc. In winter, there are garlands hung and Christmas lights strung along the lamp posts of West Bryn Mawr Avenue which is so festive. In Spring all of the trees blossom white and it really is quite lovely. There are two churches in the area, both with quaint church bells that always ring on Sundays. Also, where the building is located, it's literally steps from the Redline, Sheridan express busses, Seven-Eleven, Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts, Walgreens, Chase Bank, drycleaners, barbershop, grocery store, bakery, Asian Take-Out, etc. It s so awesome! My studio Auite is small but really nice. It s south-facing and on the top floor, so I get sunlight all day long and lots of lake breeze in summer. Utilities are included. Heat is radiator and the building mgmt keep it cozy in winter. Windows have storm window attachments which also is a great help in winter. There are two elevators in the building. One is a freight elevator, good for moving furniture in and taking out the trash. There are no strict rules about when you can or can't move in or out, which is really easy. There are laundry room hours, but they usually don t lock the doors at night which makes it easy to get a quick midnight load in when you re in a pinch. The building itself is a rehab that was done really well. All of the appliances and hardware in the Auite are up to date and They keep this place nice. building is They keep this place nice, well lighted at night and safe. There's a regularly scheduled exterminator and because of this, I ve never seen a roach or any other vermin. The building managers are nice, and approachable. They re always around and easy to discuss issues with. The mgmt company that owns the building is also pretty flexible and easy to deal with when it comes to the lease, etc. Downsides: Some mild noise. Mostly hall racket. Had a downstairs neighbor who stayed up nights playing music with a heavy base. After I talked to the building manager, it stopped. The laundry room is rather bad. Only two washers and two dryers, but mgmt is good about getting them serviced quickly if either units has an issue. Rent tends to be a little steep for this neighborhood, especially if you live on the upper floors, but utilities are included in the rent which is easy. Utilities include water, electric and gas for the stove. Price a little expensive for air-conditioning. They ask that you pay an extra $500 a year to rent one of their window units and to cover the extra electricity cost (that would otherwise be included in the rent). No doorman and most of the buzzers don t work although some do. Not really sure why this is. No storage or bike room. All in all, it s a pretty reasonable, clean, They keep this place nice, safe place to live.

The staff members are genuinely kind and friendly. Yet, this residence is in deplorable condition—the structure feels like a deteriorating property with serious upkeep issues. Winter conditions are particularly problematic, the main entrance lacks security monitoring, and doors remain propped open even when staff is present. Mold and water damage are pervasive throughout the unit. The rear entrance sits in a flood zone, making garbage disposal impossible during rain or snow. The heating system is unpredictable, and the wooden window frames won't seal properly. The lifts have been in violation of safety codes since at least 2016. I slipped and fell at the front entrance because the district wasn't cleared of snow until afternoon. I'm unable to stay here any longer and am relocating this Saturday—I couldn't be more relieved to leave.

The people are warm and welcoming. This building is a slum, with questionable in the winter, entrance unmonitored, door propped open even when management is in office, water leaks and mold everywhere, flood plain at back entrance making emptying trash impossible when it rains or snows, heat is unreliable, windows are wood framed and do not close completely. Elevators have been out of code since at least 2016. I fell because the front entrance was not shoveled until the afternoon. Can't live here anymore; leaving Saturday, can't wait.
