Worst management in Illinois. The lady argues so much and never accept anything. This building is home of million mouses and billion roaches plus water dripping from everywhere roofs, lights, ceiling, if I could give negative stars I would

We didn't even make it a month in this disgusting place. It was so bad. The place looked great, minus the broken stove which was never replaced even with 2 promises that it would be. One night we found a mouse in the bathroom, it was reported to maintenance who came in and installed some speakers deter the mice away. Fine, right? No! The following night we found cockroaches on the carpet and in the cabinet. We notified the manager and she did absolutely nothing. We told her we were leaving, not surprisingly she was okay with that. She then notified us that we needed to be out by the end of the week because someone else wanted to look at the apartment. She didn't even clean beforehand! Are you serious?! This place is horrible and needs new management.

My comment for building 1016 West Hollywood Ave The building is full with mices. We moved here in three months ago.We tried to complain about mice problems.Nobody did nothing seriously. We've had only two paper with glue.Mices i saw all over the place,in the same moment i saw two mices in my room.I 'm from Europe. Before i lived in a clean house without rodents(mices). Now,coming through hell. The apartment was really clean. The building is clean.Genitor's are friendly. But,one foes not do anything.I fell bad that i eat in my apartment.I can not move.I can not be alone.Screamed a lot and was afraid when i see them.I do not know who to complain to.I pay 700$ in month for this studio.I want to leave here as soon as possible.I do not recommend rodents in the space for living(apartment). No one can get sed to the mice in the room. This is big problem. It's a bad culture building owner who do not respond properly.I'm in shock because of the fear that i suffer. My nnext home will not have mice. This nubuilding not recommended. Here, can be over a dangerous infection of rodents(mice).Again,my apartment is clean always and do not leave food anywhere.!!!

I lived there for almost 1 year and it was the worst experience of my life ever. they look nice at the beginning but it is only the face you will see before you sign the lease. After 5months I started seeing mice. they chewed all of my stuff. everything in the kitchen, I was absolutely shocked when I saw them walking freely in my house. and when I complained to them, the only thing they did was putting glue traps in my unit, and believe me the mice get used to them and could easily jump over it or release themselves from it. I took 18 mice when I lived there. It was disgusting, horrible, it was a nightmare.I have all of the pictures and everything to prove it. they never care about the residents, the only thing they care about is money. She is a person of talk and an expert to put the blame on others, everyone and everything but herself and his damn apartment. when I told her that I will call city of Chicago she started threatening me that I will give you move out notice and so on and so forth but in the end she understood that she can do nothing and the changed my nit, but nothing has changed I saw mice again and again in my bed room everywhere, it is horrible and unbelievable but I have all of the pictures. The carpet in the hallway was out for more than 6 months because there was a fire in the elevator, the elevator is out of order all the time.it is said that the heat is included but you will be freezing all the winter and you have to warm your unit up yourself because they never turn the heats on. It was a horrible experience in my life, and all of these happened when it was my last semester at school and I was graduating and I didn't have time to look for a new place and move out, I barely stayed at home and spent most of the days in my friends' places. I still have the fear of the mice after 6 month when I hear a sound somewhere in my office or home, I still think it is a mouse, I am seeing nightmares of mice. It was like a hell living in that apartment. It was absolutely horrible. I later got to know the manager rents the units to people with bad credits just because she can keep them silent. I will definitely call city of Chicago and see what I can do as soon as I get time. Don't ever think about moving there, you can find a much much much better, cleaner, nicer, cheaper apartment in the neighborhood please please please just do not go to 1016 w Hollywood, you will regret it the second you sign the lease. You can easily see the cockroaches all over in the building, hallways, rooms, laundry. Just don't go there, it is easier to live in the hell that living in that apartment, the manager is the most irresponsible, immoral, untrustworthy, unreliable person I have ever seen in my life. Don't trust them, they are just men of talk. Even one star is too much for this place. They really deserve a negative score...

I moved in because the studio is bigger than most and has a lot of closet space. That is the only thing good about this place. My neighbors are constantly fighting and yelling at the top of their lungs, the hallways smell terrible and the roaches are a big problem. Management is ok, let me out of my lease really cheap.

I must have been outta my mind to live here. The apartments are something out of a horror film - poor carpeting, my A/C never worked and didnt get fixed either, roaches and rats running amok in the hallways....to top it all, the management told me in the beginning that during the last month of my lease, the money would come out of my security deposit. However, in the last month, they sent me a notice for not paying rent. They even made me lug all my stuff down 2 floors by shutting off the elevator. They said that the elevator would not be used for moving purposes. This place was never safe to begin with. The area is pretty scary after dark and there is nothing at all worth mentioning that would make anyone want to live here. I am pretty reasonable and adjusting when it comes to apartment living but this place was the worst dump i've ever been in.
